• Bed and linens were very comfortable.

“Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is free. The rooms are clean and decorated nicely. Bed and linens are very comfortable. Pool and whirlpool are clean and in good working order. Fitness equipment is of excellent quality. This is my second stay in this hotel and I highly recommend it.”

“All in all a nice place to stay. pleasant staff, quick check in/out.
I forgot my shirts ( about five) in the closet which
I discovered when
I got home.
I was able to call a toll free number which connected me to the front desk which connected me to the head of housekeeping. she had my info and had the shirts shipped to me (which
I received today). Top notch service indeed.”

• Location near Old Market.
• No restaurant except for breakfast, which they charge for.

“Having lived for a while in a loft across the street from this hotel, I knew what I was getting. It's a decent, moderately-priced hotel, typically Marriott in quality, nothing more, nothing less. What I can do without is the twitchy fire alarms sounding at 1:30 A.M, necessitating an evacuation. No sooner back in bed when the alarms sounded again and again 10 minutes later. They did compensated breakfast for sleep-deprived guests, otherwise it's $11.95 per person. Breakfast is free at the Hilton across the street.”

• It was less than 10 blocks from Rosenblatt Stadium.

“More like a 2.5 star hotel, not much for amenities. Bed, shower, loud toilet and over chlorinated pool. Bed was comfy and room was clean. Very close to restaurants an attractions and easy to get to.”

• Wonderful room that was spacious and comfortable, with a nice view of downtown.

“The room we had was wonderful, with an extended ceiling that made it feel very large. Since we went with going to the Henry Doorly Zoo in mind, the location couldn't have been more perfect, as the Zoo was just a few miles down the street. Old Market Downtown was also very close. We had a great experience overall!”

• Beautiful rooms and interior!
• Outdated pool area and small restaurant area. The food cooked in the restaurant smelled up the entire lobby, but it was a relatively small area.

“Everyone was really friendly and the hotel was really clean and beautifully decorated despite being a little outdated. Very high ceilings in rooms made them feel larger than they were, but were still very accommodating. Very comfortable beds. We would stay again.”

• The hotel was a modern and unbelievably comfortable room.

“I would recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to stay in the downtown Omaha area. It was walking distance to the Qwest center, old town restaurants and shopping, and the beautiful walkway along the Missouri river. We had a fantastic stay. Thanks!”

• Stayed on top floor in newly remodeled room. Convenient to Old Market area.
• Guest's two doors down partied until 4:30 am.

“With the exception of the guest’s two doors down making noise until 4:30 am, the hotel met our needs very well. Our friends were staying in the room between us and the partiers so they were more distracted by the partiers than we were.”

• Walking distance to local attractions, room was quiet and private.

“The room was cozy and comfortable, with a soft bed and nice desk and couch. The room temperature control was surprisingly functioning, assuring comfort at all times no matter what was happening outside. The front desk staff had answers to all my queries and was helpful and pleasant.”

• Comfortable, clean, with the extra little amenities like coffee and hairdryer in the room. Also nice to have a fold out couch.
• Bottle of water in the room should be free. Pool was quite small.

“I greatly enjoyed my stay at the Marriot. It was close to Old Market, Sokol Auditorium, the Bohemian Cafe, and many other popular attractions. I had the fastest check in and check out that I have ever experienced here! It was done in seconds. They had a computer and printer available in the lobby for no charge, which was very helpful for printing out directions to places I've never been to. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, the room was very clean, and I had a nice view of downtown from my window.”

• Location to downtown and the airport nearby.
• Parking was difficult.

“Due to construction in progress the hotel was not as clean as I'd have liked to have seen. Parking was difficult, I had to park across a 4 lane street with luggage, etc. Maid service woke me up at 8:15 (I'd been to the airport at 5 am and wanted to sleep.). Even without the tag on the door, 8:15 is too early to be knocking. The front desk in the morning had been called in to work on short notice (she told me as she yawned) and her messy hair and sleepy attitude showed it (and this was at 10:30 or so when I checked out). Just not the class act that I expect from their hotel.”

• Very friendly staff. Was willing to work with any problems we had.
• The rooms were outdated and the upholstery had quite of few stains, wears and tears, etc. Not dirty, just out of shape.

• Our room was next to the vending machines and elevator.

“It was nice. I'd go back again. Our room was next to the vending machines and elevator so I was concerned about the noise (we brought an electronic sound spa that cancelled out the noise). Very clean and comfortable. Good location for downtown business or attractions.”

“If you want to go out boozing in the Old Market area, this is a great location, it's within stumbling distance of bars and restaurants and the Qwest Center. No complaints about this hotel, I'll go back. 4 blocks from the Dubliner, it still smells the way it did 12 years ago since I last drank there.”

• The location.
• Room was way to small for a Marriott.

“I was very disappointed. I feel that the Marriott has an image and that was not upheld at all. Another problem is when we used the pool they never kept the towels down there replenished not that evening nor did they ever restock them before the next day.”

• Other than the air conditioning not being sufficient, the room was very nice.
• The biggest problem was that the air conditioning in the room was not sufficient. Also needs a restaurant.

“If they would fix the air conditioning in their rooms so it would be more effective (other guests were complaining about this too) and either get a bigger snack shop or a restaurant, I would highly recommend this hotel.”

“We were to meet our party in Omaha, with plans to spend the night before traveling on by rental car to our final destination. The other party's flight arrived several hrs. ahead of ours, and the hotel was very accommodating in allowing her to check into the rooms when she arrived. This was great, especially in view of the fact that she was traveling alone with a toddler. By the time we had arrived, she had secured the rooms, and had time to rest, and explore the surrounding area. All it took to accomplish this was a phone call to the hotel, with the name of the other party that would be staying with us. Thanks!”

• The desk staff was very helpful in helping us to find a place to have dinner. Clean rooms.
• Parking was not enough for the guest. We had to park in the drive through area over night twice.

“It was a fine place to stay. Nothing spectacular in our room, but we were not looking for spectacular. Safe neighborhood, helpful staff and a clean room is what we wanted and certainly what we got. The parking is a bit limited and we had to park in the drive through two nights with about five other cars. They put a notice on the car that it would be towed, but they did not tow it. So that is good.”
