• Very friendly and polite staff.
• The pool had some unatended pre-teen girls that kept jumping into the pool. The pool had 10+ people, it was very rude and staff shouldve caught it.

“The hotel as a whole was great. The room was very nice, room service was great, staff were very friendly and polite. The hotel was very clean and very up to date with maps and schedules of events going on in town.”

• Right off the highway and clean. All was as advertized. the pool looked fun and was FULL of people, but we headed for bed.
• The coffee.

“We didn't use much. Just slept and ate breakfast. Coffee was pretty bad. beds were comfortable. Breakfast was fine. I could hear the neighbors TV while I was trying to sleep, but granted I was in bed very early.”

• I liked the fact the hotel was so close to the zoo.

• The value outweighed the cost.
• I wish there was a hot tub or bigger pool.

“I was impressed with this hotel over all. Everything seemed fairly new. The breakfast served in the morning was great! I love it when hotels have make your own waffles being a picky eater its nice to have something I will eat. One thing that disappointed me was that the window to our room looked into a brick wall.”

• How clean the room was and it's location.
• Pool was small and heavily chlorinated also no hot tub for the parents.

• In a slum neighborhood.

“When we checked in, our room had no air-conditioning and was a smoking room. They changed us to a non-smoking room with air-conditioning that worked. I did not feel safe in the neighborhood near the hotel.”

• I liked the setup of the rooms.
• I did not like the size of the pool.

“The was in a in a good location. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff however were not the most pleasant when we checked in. The pool was very small and a child had thrown up and the staff only skimmed the pool and put more chlorine in the pool. Overall I might stay at this hotel again but I wouldn't use the pool.”

• The hotel was a dump.

“Would not stay there again. No elevator and had to haul luggage up two flights of stairs. No hot tub. The first room that we had, the air conditioner didn't work and therefore we had to move to another. The hotel staff was rude and there was a young kid hanging around the check-in desk talking to the staff and therefore they ignored their guests.”

• It provided easy access to the Old Market and the baseball stadium.
• There was a pool but no hot tub.

“When I first arrived at hotel, my 21 yr old grandson was expecting package - which had been opened by someone else. The 2nd day after arrival, someone had cut window screen, taken a rock and stole a fairly new laptop computer valued at $1200. The hotel has no security cameras on that side of the building. They have no responsibility, etc. and when I asked for name of hotel owner was told I had to go through channels. I left hotel early as there was a storm in Omaha and the hotel was without power or water at least 24 hours or more with no backup generators. Also I was there for business and I further got wiped out downtown because of hurricane force winds. All in all, a disaster.”

• The staff was very friendly.
• Areas of the hotel had obviously been wet and had horrible mildew smell. In rooms and in hallway. But they were fine with moving us to another area.

“Only negative was smell of mildew in some hallways. Huge storm occurred Friday and no electricity, so we were moved to another hotel.”

“Close the home of the college world series. Free Wi-Fi, mini-fridge, exercise room, and breakfast. No elevator, but only 2 levels. Gas station/Convenience store and McDonalds are walking distance.”

• It was very close to the Omaha Zoo! Rooms were comfy & staff friendly.

• Bathroom shower was awful and the noise of very poorly behaved children was off-putting.

“I would recommend this hotel for families with children especially for those visiting the zoo. For business travelers or adult vacationers, the hotel may not be suitable. However, the staff was extremely courteous and helpful.”

“Hotel conveniently located blocks from the Zoo. Service friendly and good breakfast. Easy to access from highway, but hotel in older part of Omaha with rundown neighborhood and limited restaurants. However, Omaha small enough to drive to anything in short time. Enjoyable for a short getaway.”

“Great location - right off the highway, super close to the zoo and stadium and a McDonalds, safe and secluded. The pool is small but adequate for young kids. The breakfast was good and the room was clean. I'd definitely stay there again.”

• Thin walls, uncomfortable beds.

“The staff was friendly and the lobby and room were clean. The indoor pool was surprisingly cold, and my son and I only spent about 10 minutes in there until we couldn't stand it anymore. While the location is convenient to the zoo and stadium, there are no restaurants nearby aside from a McDonald's, and the man at the front desk directed us back across the river to Council Bluffs for food and supplies. The walls were very thin - we heard a guy having coughing fits in the middle of the night, and there were maybe a dozen cars in the lot, so it wasn't very full. The pillows were way too mushy and the mattresses way too hard.”

“We have stayed here many times and find this motel to be convenient to the places we want to go. It is clean and comfortable. I was disappointed that the free breakfast has gone downhill in quality from the last time we stayed here.”

• Great front desk help. Room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable.
• Nothing.

“Reservation was ready when we arrived. Room was spotless, it's a no smoking facility which is great. Bathroom was very clean, bed was really nice. 4 pillows per queen bed; no sag, clean comforters. No hassle check out. Pool was busy with kids in morning but it's away from the rooms, so no noise. I recommend this one to everyone.”

“I really am glad we chose this hotel. It was very convenient, clean and the staff was extremely friendly. The pool was clean and a good temperature. The beds were comfy. Breakfast was good. The cookies at night were really good! The only thing I did not like was the super low water pressure in the shower.”

• Incredibly friendly staffs like-new building.
• No hot tub by the pool.

“Stayed here 3 nights, wonderful experience. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, the building seemed brand new, I slept very well every night, and breakfast was actually good. Easy access to I-80. I've never stayed at a hotel with such a sincerely friendly staff. Also, the pool was quite warm, but of course small. If I need a hotel in Omaha again, this will definitely be the first place I look.”

• I liked that it was convenient to the zoo, had a nice pool, and internet access (free of charge).
• There wasn't very much selection at the breakfast.

“It was a nice hotel, and a good place to have small children at. Everything seemed clean except the shower needed a little cleaning and updating. The continental breakfast was very crowded and not much of a variety and seemed a little unorganized.”

• The convenience to get to and the convenience to get around town and to attractions such as the zoo & Old Market and excellent continental breakfast.
• The pool area had a very strong chemical smell and was very hot in the room needs better vent system.

“Very nice and clean rooms and very nicely kept up lobby area. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. They kept it very well stocked with items as they were running low. They front desk staff were very helpful with any questions that were asked then with directions that were needed.”

• There were no restaurants near by.

“This is the perfect hotel for families visiting the zoo. It is just around the corner; so we were able to come back to the hotel in the afternoon for a little swim break before returning to the zoo for the evening. The pool was just right for my small children. The fresh waffles in the morning were delightful. A great stay.”

• They need to put a microwave in the rooms and small fridge.

• Paper-thin walls and door-lots of noise travel; very small pool.

“This hotel was as expected from the reviews I had read. It is a decent hotel for the price and it's being right next door to the zoo, was nice. No hunting for the location, no wrong turns. The pool is very small. I had read that in advance but was still a little surprised to see just how small, and it feels even smaller with dozens of children of various ages cannonball in. The doors do allow a great deal of hallway noise, so much so I questioned whether it was shut all the way (it was). If you are traveling with young children and are accustom to tuning out background noise, you won't go wrong staying here. Facility was clean but definitely a budget place.”

“I thought the hotel was nice. First day's staff seemed to have a bit of a attitude but got us in early. Second nights stay, we had a rowdy bunch in the room above us and had to keep calling the office but they seemed to get it taken care of. Breakfast was good, usual pancakes and such. Also get cookies after 7pm. Location was great! Could see the zoo and old market was right down the street. Hotel is right off I-80 which is highway everything seems to be on.”

• The pool was freezing, not heated well!

“Overall, the hotel was really good. They had a wonderful deluxe continental breakfast that was great when traveling with children. I was upset the pool was so cold. The location was great since you did not waste time driving through Omaha to get to the zoo. Gas stations and restaurants were close. And the 12:00 noon check out time was great for traveling with kids that do not want to hurry. Could hear things in the other room though, kind of made it hard to sleep sometimes. But I will stay again.”
