• Beautiful lobby
• Parking- entrance.

“Issue with room. Didn't change after calling to the requested room. First person not helpful. Second person wonderful as she changed the room and offered us free drink coupon and free breakfast coupon. Very pleased.”

• The cookies are awesome.
• Still have Smoking Rooms.

“The only bad thing was - the hotel was full and we had to stay in a smoking room. The night manager came up and sprayed Fabreze in the room and did tell us when they complete the remodeling project all rooms will be smoke free. We ran a 10K the next day and would have liked to be smoke free.”

• Good Hamburgers and plenty of flat screen TV's in bar.
• Older, outdated, moldy in bathroom, Musty smelling in halls.

“Everyone was friendly and helpful! I just feel that the building is older and in need of an update. I had rotten trim in the bathroom where water had been damaging for some time and it smelled very musty in the halls leading to my room. The bed was comfortable and the amenities were fine, just needs some clean up.”

• Nice rooms, cookie at check in.
• Hard to find, parking isn't the best.

“Great rooms, and nice location. Internet was $12.95 in room and parking was $7. Their maintenance staff was very fast. (Broken internet cable was replaced within 10 minutes.) I recommend this hotel for business travelers. Easy access to the interstate. But do not eat in the restaurant. The food was generic food service quality - think hospital food. You can tell everything is pervade - the salad is bagged, the roll is frozen, the mashed potatoes are from a mix, and the steak was a huge letdown.”

• Bathroom was filthy upon arrival - dirty washcloth and soaps still in shower from previous guest

“Room was not clean upon arrival, non smoking room but curtains were full of cigarette burns, air conditioner was noisy and kept kids awake, the bathroom had a dirty wash cloth, used soap and hair in it upon arrival. Coffee shop was closed for the holiday. Parking was expensive and internet was not free, which you would expect for this class of hotel. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“Nice downtown location. It is a older hotel, old wood stain colors and outdated look. It was very clean for it's age. You have to pay $7 a day for parking. No breakfast included.”

• Ice machines in enclosed room so noise is trapped and doesn't go down the hall.
• There were no machines for snacks. The gift shop had coffee and snacks but they didn't even work their posted hours.

“The A/C fan had a clicking noise in it. The control of the A/C unit did not allow the fan to stay on. So, it was always in auto mode and came on and off to wake me up with the clicking fan. It would have been OK if the fan just stayed on. Also, this hotel had a huge problem with stocking rooms with towels. Even though I checked in at 4pm, I only had 1 bath towel and 2 hand towels. Zero wash cloths. The lady who ran the gift shop/coffee shop was pretty snotty. I was at the locked door of the shop at 7:10 and it had a scheduled opening of 7am. The lady who ran the shop unlocked the door at 7:10. This is a nice Doubletree in downtown Omaha and they let a witch run the sometime open gift/coffee shop.”

“The hotel is old and badly needs to be updated. The bathroom was small and cramped. Paid parking was very expensive. The swimming pool was old and had holes that hurt my kids feet in the bottom of it. On top of it all the other guest were very loud. I will never recommend this hotel.”

• The front desk staff was rude. The hotel did not have a hot tub in either the pool or fitness area.

“We were dissatisfied with the service received and were disturbed by the room's shower as the shower head was coated with soap scum and was breaking off from the wall. Additionally there was a very noisy party going on in the room next to us, and our complaints to the front desk were not met with a response by hotel staff.”

• Staff friendliness and cookies.
• Bathroom really small. Hotel definitely shows age.

“The hotel has good and bad things. It is not as bad as some make it look, but it is not great either. I had to play with the tub faucet for 5 minutes to get a comfortable water level. You'd also expect at least a discounted parking rate at the adjacent parking lot. The hotel, however, is convenient to the airport and other amenities.”

• No free internet, $9 parking per day, one night room above us leaked over our tub.

“The cleanliness was very good & the restaurant was amazing but where as most places these days have free internet & a free breakfast of some kind. At Doubletree it was $9.95 a day for internet, just 2 free cookies & $9 a day to park, not impressed!”

• Huge room/suite; yummy cookies; very clean; great pool and
  quiet.
• Water pressure in the shower was very low. This would be my only complaint.

“The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. The room far exceeded my expectations. It was a HUGE suite with wet bar, microwave, fridge, walk-in closet. Very comfortable bed. Very clean, even the carpet. LOVED it! Was very relaxing weekend away.”

• The weight room on the second floor was top notch.
• Dirty rooms, old carpet, fuzzy TV, thugs down 16th street.

“This hotel is not 3 stars. It is dirty, the carpets are at least 20 years old, no Wi-Fi in the lobby, fuzzy TV, lack of channels, and staff treats you like a problem when you have a request. Basically, avoid this hotel if you can. Stay in the Old Market area, this hotel is on 16th street where you may not feel comfortable or safe.”

• The staff was fantastic!
• The room felt old, dirty and smelled very smoky.

“The climate control in the room did not work. The room felt and looked run down. There was heavy smoke smell in the hall and room. The TV was old. With that said the bed was very nice and clean.”
