• Beautiful property easy access to highway and stores.

“The lobby and decor was lovely there were several functions going on at the hotel but never had to wait long for the elevator, the staff was very friendly helpful with directions.”

• Bathroom was dated, Better seal needed at bottom of entrance door

“Good location for easy access to interstate, aquarium, golf, and university. Staff was excellent. Did not use restaurant or pool. As a former business traveler, it looked like a great property for meetings. Rather bland exterior”

• We loved the feel of grandeur and we walked in the door.

“This was a wonderful hotel. We were greeted with smiles from the staff from the moment we approached the counter to our checkout. The room smelled wonderful! For an older hotel, that is a plus! The bathroom was spotless and the bedding pristine. Being there for only a short night's stay, we were extremely impressed with the amenities.”

• New equipment in fitness center.
• Slow drains in shower and toilet.

“A fine hotel. The fitness center was a notch above with new equipment and each machine having its own TV. Lost points on bathroom. Slow drain resulted in water over ankles in showers and a toilet that needed flushing multiple times to clear.”

• Beds are extremely comfortable!

“Marriott has done a great job of renovating this property. The rooms are spacious, hallways clean and kept-up. Best of all -- Marriott hotels are smoke-free. No wondering if the non-smoking room has been smoked in. Also, every Friday from 4:00-6:00 pm the hotel offers a free hot dog and lemonade from a cart stationed near the elevators.

• I didn't see anything that I didn't liked.

“This Marriot is a good hotel to stay at. It has plenty of amenities, friendly, and clean. It's close to shopping and to downtown if you are going to a concert at the new BOK center. I would stay here again.”

• The room was awesome, down pillows and comforters, great bathroom, and great workspace.
• The hotel staff was very rude, kept waking up my son with phone calls.

“We were pleasantly surprised when we opened the door to our room, with the King bed and great beddings. We got back to our room on the second day around 2 pm and the maid was still cleaning the room. We have a 18 month old son so we was trying to put him down for a nap, we finally got him asleep and the maid came back banging on the door asking if we were staying the night there we said yes. She woke our son up from his nap after about 30 minutes. Finally got him back to sleep. In the meantime they woke my son with the phone calls. I did not get an apology or anything for their mistakes. I felt the hotel staff was very rude and very unhelpful.”

• Quality of the beds and room temperature control.
• Needs to update TV's and channel line-ups.

“Great place to stay while in Tulsa. Food close by, easy to get to main attractions. Best sleep I get when I travel, which is quite often. The TV's in the rooms could be updated soon, but overall a great hotel room. Sports bar and restaurants are great!”

• The location was convenient. The beds were comfortable. The lotion/shampoos were nice.
• The maid was surely when we had to return to our room (from the pool) while she was there.

• 2 double beds when we were assured of 2 queen beds.

“I can't understand them having no double-queen rooms. We asked for, and were assured by staff that we could have, a double queen room when the hotel doesn't even have any. No compensation was asked for or offered. Had a horrible, uncomfortable night.”

• The cleaning crew did a spectacular job.
• I felt the people at the front desk were not as friendly as they could have been.

“Great hotel. Some of the staff were a little curt (front desk). The rest were extremely friendly and helpful. The only other complaint was that there were only 32 channels on the cable 4 of which were ESPN. This is a great place to stay.”

• Convention hotel, not as good for families as some.

“This Marriott is 11 floors. There is an indoor pool and hot tub. The hotel is well maintained and a good example of a 3 star hotel. There is plenty of free parking. This is a great hotel for the business traveler. There is a convention area so you may be staying with large groups of convention attendees.”

• Good location, clean, free WiFi (important).
• Parking - while ample was off to the side, coming in late could have security issues.

“Security would be the only issue for me. The parking was to the side of the hotel and I did not notice any security cameras. Would have made me nervous coming in late at night even though it was a good part of town.”

• The beds were incredible. It was quiet and very convenient location wise.
• We had a long wait to check in; we had to ask to have our room cleaned.

“Overall we had a wonderful time. The only down side was checking in (our room was not ready). We were told to come back in 1 - 1 1/2 hours. We returned in 2 1/2 hours and still had to wait about a half an hour before we got our room. We had one incident with the cleaning service. Our room was not cleaned at 4 pm. When they did come in we did not receive any clean glasses nor did they restock our coffee and tea.”

• Didn't remove dishes from hallways until over 24 hrs.

“It's convenient, seems to be in a safe area - I felt comfortable walking 5 minutes to a drug store. The bed and pillows are very comfortable and made sleeping a dream. The individual air conditioning settings provided the perfect "white noise" to block out other guest sounds!”

“We did receive a room with 2 beds instead of 1 king. The staff did not make much effort to take care of me on that. We asked for tooth brushes because we left ours at home, and they did not have any.”

• Not able to accommodate adjoining room request.

“The hotel was very nice. But they were not able to accommodate my request for an adjoining room even though we checked in only an hour after check-in time. This left a group of teenagers unsupervised, which was bad for us and bad for the rest of the hotel guests. They should have found a way to make it happen, even if that meant moving a current guest and upgrading their room. I was displeased - and I imagine that my teenagers' neighbors were displeased. Aside from that, the hotel was very nice.”

• Very disappointed in restaurant.

“Very pleased with everything except the restaurant. My wife and I ordered a half rack of ribs each which were so tough and dry that we had difficulty in separating them and eating them. Ribs, Cole slaw and French fries with desert were $68.00 which included the tip.”

• Presentation of pillows and towels was very nice -- plenty of each, and nicely lay out.
• The hotel's Ross Edwards salon did not return my voice message until the next day after checkout. (A lost sale.)

“A nice, semi-upscale hotel with quality amenities, professional staff, and an accessible South-Tulsa location. The lot and location don't offer any ambiance to speak of (e.g., minimal landscaping, lots of bare parking lot), but the rooms themselves are good. Recommended for business travel; for a more restful setting try the Doubletree at Warren Place.”

• The hotel was upscale for the price I usually pay for Hamptons or Holiday Inns.
• The bathroom sink was separate without a counter. No room for toiletries.

• The bed was very comfortable, the room was neat and clean.
• The only negative thing I can say about my stay was that the carpet in the room was still damp. I guess it had been shampooed.

“The hotel was well worth the price I paid. It was clean, well accommodated, close to restaurants and local events, the staff was courteous and friendly, the bed was extremely comfortable.”
