• Love the two rooms and the kitchenette.
• The furnace didn't work, it was extremely cold! They didn't have us move to a different room.

“Except for the furnace issue it is a very nice hotel, and we usually enjoy staying there.”

• Staff was very helpful but couldn't solve problems.
• Heat in whole hotel not working.

“Heat in whole hotel was not working and temperature outside had plummeted. Staff claimed weather changed too quickly -- hotel was still set up for a/c not heat. Desk staff was helpful, but for us, it was an uncomfortable, chilly night in the hotel, a bad experience.”

• Rooms were good sized, bed and bedding was great, full size refrigerator was nice.
• Bathroom was very small and cramped.

“The rooms were good size and it was nice to have a family room in addition to the bedroom. The carpet and upholstery need to be updated. In the kitchen the full sized refrigerator came in very handy. Microwave worked well. The balcony was okay for standing but there was no furniture to sit. The beds were very comfortable with the pillow top mattress. The down bedding was soft. The only draw back to this hotel is the bathroom is EXTREMELY small. Everything is stuffed into a closet sized room and you have to stand by the toilet to shut the door.”

• Smelled very bad of smoke, the furnace was extremely loud.

“I stay here because it's a good location. This time I had a no smoking room but the smoke smell was so bad I could hardly sleep. I had a sore throat from the smoke smell. It seemed like the smoke smell was coming through the vents. I don't know if I would stay here again.”

• Warm cookies. Pool was warm. Very comfortable and rooms were never a long walk to get to from parking lot.

“The hotel was very clean, friendly, and comfortable. It was nice having a large fridge and microwave. Easy to get around and all rooms close to the pool. Just a great place to stay.”

“We've stayed at this hotel 4 times in 2 months. Each time we were bothered by a night security guard that I called Capt. Creepy until I realized he was doing a Barney Fife impression. The kids thought he was some kind of preditor. When in the pool after hours for the adult swim he called us over to the side to ask if we were over 18. My wife is 50-ish. If he can't tell the difference he has no right being a security guard.”

• Recent remodel has things very nice again.
• Changes to bathrooms, no vanity outside of the only bathroom.

“Very good experience after the last time we stayed it was under remodeling and a mess to be around. Now those changes are complete and it is a very pleasant atmosphere again. The pool was nice and warm, and the remodeled rooms were great with the exception of the bathroom changes.”

• Great beds and lovely linens, in-room fridge and microwave very helpful.
• Sofa bed was terrible, contacted staff for replacement.

“After a long day of travel, this all suite hotel was very refreshing. The delicious warm cookies at check-in are a charming touch. The beds are super comfortable with very nice double sheet linens, appreciated the Neutrogena products provided. The hotel pool and hot tub are lovely and uncrowded on week nights, however, be forewarned, summer weekend nights the lovely, indoor pool reached capacity and so, no room for actual swimming. Nice pool side towels and chairs.”

• It was clean.
• I was put in a room where the commercial washer was above us.

“I was not able to sleep due to the commercial washer and dryer, the laundry facility was above our room. It sounded like a helicopter taking off and landing. I like the location as it was close to family that I was in town to visit. I will be returning at the end of December and will be in need of two rooms if Doubletree is willing to make it right.”

• The elevators are small and cramped. Hard to move luggage in the small space.

• When we first arrived in the hotel room there was a hair in the shower and toilet area.

“Overall, it was a good stay, staff was nice and courteous. When we ordered towels they were prompt in bringing them up. Bartender on Saturday was great, very personable.”

• Room was not clean - shower curtain had mold.

“Hotel lobby was beautiful - Room was spacious, but the shower curtain had mold on it. The coffee table had a magazine on it with lots of crumbs on it. The television had a beer cap on top of it. The door did not latch properly. We had to call maintenance. We just had to pull really hard to latch the door.”

“Rooms were big, but we needed two beds. Had to sleep on a pullout couch. They did not have cots. The maid was also looking in the window when I woke up. A little weird.”

• The rooms were big.
• It smelled like smoke even after we complained and I found screws on the floor not great with a baby that craws.

“Would have been great if our room had not smelled like cigarette smoke. (It's supposed to be a smoke free room) I complained about it and nothing was done. We sprayed the room several times and I think the smell was in the filter of the air conditioner. Our clothes in our bags reeked of it when we brought them home.”

• Beds were very comfortable. Spacious rooms.
• Upon entering room, noticed crumbs on table and beer cap on TV. Shower curtain had mold on bottom. Door did not latch properly. Pullout uncomfortable.

“This is my first bad experience at this hotel. Room didn't appear to be cleaned properly. Magazine on coffee table had crumbs on it. Also found beer cap on top of television. Immediately wondered if room was vacant.”

• Overall nice surroundings.
• Couch in living room had seen better days. It appears you are still in the process of updating.

“We were there so briefly that we were unable to take advantage of what you had to offer. Many people seemed to be enjoying your restaurant at breakfast. I realize this used to be an Embassy suites. The kitchen area is really not useful with no dishes, etc. But, I suppose they would just disappear.”

• The kids liked the pool.

“The room could have been cleaner. It looked like the floor needed to be vacuumed better. The area itself was very nice and the staff was helpful. The kids enjoyed the pool.”

• Comfy bed, friendly staff, suites are a definite plus with a child! Nice decor.
• On the phone staff did not sound friendly, ceiling tiles above shower faucet moldy? Toilet seat doesn't stay on. Kitchen floor sticky.

“Housekeeping neglected kitchen floor-sticky rings where a drink had been. Damaged ceiling tiles in shower, and toilet seat didn't stay on. Despite that it was a wonderful stay.”

• We came to Omaha for a family funeral. This hotel was a wonderful place to retreat!

“Our room was beautiful, very private and very clean. The cookies we received were the best and a great surprise after a long ride. The food smelled great even though we weren't able to eat. Everyone looked like they were having a great time in the pool; wish I had remembered my suit.”

• We really loved the appearance of the common areas. Peaceful atmosphere.
• Not really family friendly. We were disappointed that the cable did not have Disney or Nick. Pool was small and could never get towels at pool.

• The beds were the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in in a hotel!
• There isn't anything, I loved everything about it.

“The desk staff was friendly and offered cookies upon check-in. The beds were awesome, I have never slept so well in a hotel before. I think it was even better than my bed at home! It was just a great beautiful place, and I plan on going back!”

• The atmosphere is wonderful. Plants everywhere, and the whole place smells like the ocean.
• Our keycard was deleted from computer before we even checked out. For such a nice hotel, TV's were discolored and cheap.

“Doubletree is wonderful. Although the hotel could use a few more modern updates, such as newer TV's and furniture, the bed was heavenly and the staff were wonderful. Very clean and comfy.”

• Beds were very comfortable, great atmosphere.
• Laughed at the 1960's refrigerator.

“Took a short vacation right in our own hometown. Hotel was covered with tropical greenery and made for a nice change from the winter snow. Suit was nice! Beds were wonderful. The pillow were the best as was the Down Comforter. As always "vacation" was too short. Would love to have stayed longer.”
