• Modern/Stylish, friendly staff, clean.
• Pool was slightly cold, no free breakfast, no fridge in room.

“Lobby was very nice, so first impression was good. Front desk staff was honestly the best I've ever encountered. Room was very nice (though disappointed with no fridge). Comforter and pillows were down-feather, and sufficient in number.”

• Staff was pleasant.
• Room smelled of mildew, toilet wasn't bolted in place.

“The room we stayed in smelled terrible. We didn't complain, we were exhausted from traveling. The toilet wasn't bolted to the floor and moved around the bathroom. We were nervous to break the pipes.”

• Indoor/Outdoor pool - wonderful!
• Hotel staff was very short with me when checking in.

“I was so excited to get the Marriott for this trip! Their Sunday brunch is very nice and restaurant has a great atmosphere. Hotel staff was very short with me while checking in, but otherwise this location exceeds my expectations!”

• Newly remodeled. Fabulous location. Comfortable bedding. Wonderful hotel.
• The fire alarm went off at 1 am. No fun.

• Very clean, posh bed, very comfortable.

“Very comfortable room. Good shower pressure. Everything was very clean. The carpet, furniture, and bed were plush. The concierge was very friendly and helpful. We didn't have time to dine in the restaurant, so can't say about that.”

• It is a beautiful and centrally located hotel.
• The rooms are beautiful but relatively small.

“This hotel was everything that you expect in a Marriott. They have extensively upgraded the rooms, with new carpet, paint, linens, and amenities. There still weren't refrigerators in the rooms yet, but they may be planned since there is a space for one. The staff was friendly, and they serve complimentary champagne and hot apple cidar in the evening. Monday through Thursday. The pool and exercise area are small but adequate and well maintained.”

• Steakhouse located in hotel was good.
• Door was broken, was almost an hour after coming back from dinner.

“Business travelers may find better services elsewhere, including free high-speed internet service. Romance seekers will love the lobby and shared spaces. A much needed renovation is coming in November. It's a 3 star, but just barely.”

“The Marriott in Omaha was comfortable and clean. It was in a safe neighborhood with lots of nearby restaurants and shopping opportunitues. My family enjoyed the pool. Great hotel for a weekend trip.”

• The staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating.
• It would have been nice if had a shuttle to different places, mall, restaurants.

“When we arrived at the hotel the staff at the front desk greeted us right away. They were extremely friendly and outgoing. We asked for extra towels and coffee and it was brought up to us in minutes. The next morning as we were leaving the staff that was there the night before was there and asked us about our stay and wished us a good day. We were so impressed with the hotel and the staff. I am sure we will stay there again.

• Staff is amazing; hotel is always clean and comfortable.
• Bathrooms could be updated a bit, but generally clean and usable.

“This Marriot has staff that truly is accommodating, helpful and friendly. They are responsive to every need. Room service is quality food and quick. I always amazed at what an incredible value the hotel is; the location is excellent as well - easy to get downtown from here, either on Interstate or down Dodge Street.”

• The bed was very comfortable.
• The guest rooms, doors slammed hard and loud. That scared me at night and woke me up very early each morning.

“It was excellent. The business center was convenient. That's really all I used. I looked at the pool and gym and they are very nice. The gift shop is attractive. The plantings outside are beautiful. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I used a safety deposit box. The first night I was uneasy because the front desk manager took the box out of my sight before giving me the key. The second day the desk clerk took me to the actual boxes, I gave her my key, and she gave me the box. We then placed it back in its space and she returned my key. I would suggest that guests be in the custody of their valuables until they receive the key. It is a very simple step to take in order to avoid a potential legal problem. The automatic revolving doors do not work and it is difficult to manage that with luggage. I was okay, but it is definitely a problem for individuals with less strength. Since that is the first contact guests have with the hotel, it should be repaired.”

• Just a confusing location, hard to follow directions.

“Very nice Courtyard with an indoor/outdoor pool area which is nice. The rooms had all the amenities typical of a Marriott hotel, bright white clean bed linens, comfortable beds and room furniture. The bathroom was spacious. The location was a bit confusing to find when driving through on business. The hotel staff was excellent including room service. Some areas are in need of updating which is in the process of being done, as evidenced by the display in the lobby.”

Parking was somewhat limited and could be a long walk from the front entrance. Overall an excellent stay. Would gladly return.”

• We loved the indoor/outdoor pool. The bedding and toiletries were awesome also!
• We weren't able to get a double room and had to use an aerobed in a very small room.

“The beds, pillows and linens in Marriott hotels are very luxurious. We were able to get a refrigerator in our room upon request and the indoor/outdoor pool was a major plus with the kids.”

• The room looked very nice, when you entered it and it was located by the mall and restaurants.
• The room was dirty, chairs had white spots on them, dirt was on things wife wiped down.

“Hotel personnel were very friendly and took care of complaint about chair after calling twice. I do feel when cleaning the room they should wipe down everything that someone will touch. Bed had spots (like drippings on it).”

“The room did not have drapes that closed all the way. I did not check in till 3:30 AM. I needed to sleep. The night staff, who was very good, looked for another room. They tried three rooms and none had drapes that closed. They then found me a suite with drapes that closed and moved me to that suite. Even though this was a non smoking hotel and I am a non smoker, the suite had been smoked in. a lot! There were balcony doors which I promptly opened. It only helped some. I did stay in the room, but with discomfort. Again, the hotel night staff was very helpful. The hotel though, left me with an unpleasant taste.”

• There no free breakfast. Price was high for pancakes and for coffee, other then that loved the hotel.

“The room was very clean and quiet. It was easy to find the hotel from the highway and close to the zoo about 15 minutes. Staff was very nice and I would stay here again with out a doubt. Skip the mall across the street, but grocery store is a block away for snacks.”

• Clean, comfortable bed, modern hotel. Great staff.
• No wireless internet in room. We were very surprised about this and it was sort of inconvenient.

“Besides the absence of wireless internet, the hotel was great. It was quiet, clean, modern, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Would stay there again.”

• Beds were older, but comfortable. Linens were nice.
• Close to interstate -- some noise because of this. Hallway into room is narrow which makes carrying a suitcase into the room difficult.

“Rooms are comfortable and slated for an update November 2008 according to the information in the lobby. There is a well-equipped exercise room and nice pool on the premises. Beds are older but comfortable, linens are nice. During this stay, the best thing about this hotel was the outstanding hotel staff. A big improvement over my previous stay (2007). There is a nice range of food choices in the bar -- drinks are large and reasonably priced. I'm looking forward to seeing the remodeled hotel later this year.”

• Great location, nice room, great staff, all the right restaurants nearby.
• Cant find anything wrong with the place.

“The hotel was right where we needed it to be. This was our second trip to Omaha which can be a confusing city to navigate visually. The first time we stayed in council bluffs and the driving to where we had to go took a toll, as it is confusing somewhat from that location the place was clean, inviting, nice room space. Loved the balcony. the pool was nice and actually unique. Courtyard was beautiful. The in hose restaurant was up to par (steak).”
