• Clean, convenient.
• A bit dated, would prefer queen beds instead of doubles.

“Overall, this is a nice enough hotel for the money. Not fancy but not a dump by any means. It was clean and that is #1 priority for me. We checked in about 9:00 pm. and out by 8:00 the next morning so we didn't do much except sleep. We did have breakfast and it was perfectly adequate.”

• Pool was not ready for summer swimming. Not direct access from freeway or frontage road.

• The bed was comfortable.

“There were not cameras on premise and the corridors were private entrance without circling back to lobby. Doors were not solid and previously had locks replaced judging by bent up jams and lock holes. No bottom thresholds on individual room doors with large gaps beneath, allowed all hallway conversations as well as room conversations to be heard easily. Light was visible beneath the doorway due to no threshold.”

“The hotel was difficult to find and get to. The room we stayed in was small and the bathroom was very small. The clerk at the desk was exceptional, but the smell of smoke in the hallways which drifted into the room was terrible.”

• Pool although outdoor, was nice.
• Parking lot was rough, hotel needed updating.

“We were traveling with kids, and the place was ok, but we didn't feel it was 3 star. The continental breakfast was fine (waffle maker) but the area to eat was pretty crowded. The area as a whole seemed kind of run down and we just didn't feel real comfortable.”

• I liked that the room had privacy, by putting the sink separate from the toilet/tub and the room was nice and cool when we arrived.
• I didn't like that the juice machine wasn't working and leaked all over causing a mess and possible injury in the lobby on Sunday morning.

“The Hotel was nice and friendly, however they need to be more aware of situations, such as the juice machine, since another woman informed me it had been like that when she arrived earlier in the week and she even put in a complaint and it didn't seem to help, I was just glad we didn't slip and get hurt in the mess it was causing.”

“I had to bang on the door for at least 5 minutes before I got someone to open the door. The room was unsatisfactory. The floors were wet, the beds were dirty. The blanket had a fresh still wet spot on it from whomever stayed before. This shows me I didn't even have clean linens on the bed. I had to sleep on top of the sheets. It was disgusting.”

“I could never recommend this hotel to anyone else. Housekeeping forgot to leave coffee cups, coffee, towels, etc. The phone had a message light on but we could not retrieve the message and neither could hotel personnel. Could not turn off message light and was very distracting.”

• It was very clean, rooms are spacious and comfortable.
• Very mismanaged.

“Although the rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly, we had a mediocre stay. Upon arrival, we were told roll-away beds were not allowed due to fire code. And when we requested an extra pillow for our 3rd son (who slept on the floor) we were told there were none. So, we dressed for the outdoor pool on a hot summer day. Only to find the pool was closed for maintenance. The next morning, we went down for breakfast at 8:30 am. Breakfast is advertised until 10 am, only to find them we out of waffle batter, donuts, muffins, and fruit. They did manage to refill the cereal for us. Otherwise, it was completely empty. Overall, the rooms were great, service was friendly, but a bit clueless.”

• The light above the mirror wouldn't turn on for 10 min.

“This hotel must have been an older motel. It needed paint touch ups in the room. You could tell there had been water damage and the carpet needed to be replaced. The light over the mirror needed to be fixed because it wouldn't turn on after you flipped the switch. It took 10 minutes for it to turn on. Not sure if the comforters get cleaned. Room was nice and cool when I did enter the room. It did take a few times for my door to deadbolt, if you didn't bolt the door it wouldn't be a problem for someone to enter with a good shove on the door. For the most part it was fairly clean. I was close to the exit and parking facilities. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend that they do some up keep on the hallways as far as lighting, carpeting and paint.”

“Our fitted sheet did not fit the bed well and kept coming off and was completely off by the time we woke up. Our room was near the door and we could hear people coming in all night and talking. When we ate the continental breakfast they were out of spoons and I asked a hotel worker for more and when he found some he dropped a few on the ground and didnt bother picking them up, seemed a little lazy.”

• Crowded breakfast room. Both the food and tables too close together. A spray bottle and towels would be nice for cleaning of tables by guests.

“It is somewhat difficult to locate this hotel off I-80 but even more difficult to get back to the Interstate from the hotel. Distribution and posting of directions would be helpful.”

“Great economy hotel for the traveler. Parking spaces were noticeably small, though there were plenty of spaces. Overall experience was good. I did noticed that I never encountered one other person inside the hotel itself, with the exception of the desk clerk, but that is probably because I used the side door and went straight to and from my room.”

• A bit tricky to find, had to turn on side street, room did not receive maid service.

“The Omaha La Quinta is a comfortable hotel with more amenities than one would expect for the price. Rooms are fairly large, with a big sink area separate from the shower/toilet room. The mini-fridge and microwave make it ideal for families with small kids or budget travelers. Extensive breakfast buffet including make-your-own waffles. Green-and-white decor gave the hotel a fresh, lively feel. Really enjoyed our stay!”

• Efficient no nonsense operation.
• Tad old interior design despite excellent maintenance.

“The check in didn't even require a credit card for incidentals since there are none lest one causes room damage. The free continental breakfast 6:30 9:30a is fully featured, matching that of most Marriott residence inns even. The interior design is a tad old although excellently maintained. The maid service was very early, starting at 7:30a and a bit noisy through the slightly thin room to hallway walls, but they were thorough in their work. The showerheads are surprisingly comfortable given the low rate. The television programming is by dish network and over 30 channels long.”

• I had to leave too soon.

“This best western pulled one out of the Sheraton strategy book. The rooms are absolutely beautiful wonderful pillow top bed with extra pillows included oversized ones, and even a 'feather' pillow something harder to find these days. The bed setting reminded me of a small boutique hotel I stayed at in Beverly hills once. The lobby is spacious with lots of little nooks to sit with friends. The staff were helpful and their shuttle ran virtually on demand with little wait. The only flaws I noticed were some obvious patching attempted on the tub that didn't exactly match the original color, and also the drains ran a little slow. I loved this hotel.”

“This is a good buy for someone traveling on the cheap. Don't expect too much except for a bed and hot shower. I felt safe in the neighborhood that the hotel was situated in. The internet access was very spotty and not. Needs totally revamped.”

• Hallway was a little Smokey, but otherwise, really nice space.

“Liked the stay traveled with my little baby girl. The only problem was the hallway was pretty Smokey (not near our room, but on the way to the room). Seemed like someone was smoking in a non-smoking room. Other than that, had a good stay. Breakfast was really good, too.”

• It was clean, comfortable, and the kids loved it! Oh and I cannot forget the breakfast was amazing!
• The pool was closed for the first day and a half we were there.

“Our hotel stay was very nice, the price was great the people were nice, the breakfast was nothing short of amazing, and we ended up having a family emergency while we were there and they let us stay an extra night for the same price! Highly recommended!”
