• Staff was very helpful and
  rooms were clean.
• Beds seemed small even for a double, breakfast on weekends was not available until after 7:00 am we were out each morning by 6:15 am.

• The food at continental breakfast.

“The hotel was clean. I got what I expected. The taste and freshness of the continental breakfast food left a lot to be desired (waffles tasted strange, the breads were not fresh, and the cereal was stale. The coffee and juice were fine).”

• Convenient and clean.
• Not up to standards from past La Quinta Inns.

“The staff was very good and the hotel was very clean. I have worked for La Quinta in the past and the breakfast they served was subpar to what I expected. Also the upgrades to the rooms were below what I expected. But I would recommend this as a place to stay for the convenience.”

• Inexpensive.
• Noisy, hard bed, tiny bathroom.

“This was my first and will be my last experience with La Quinta. The bed was hard, so I didn't sleep well. Our room was near an entrance/exit and we could hear every entrance and exit at night. It was also right next to the ice machine. We could hear that too. Unless the fan on the AC was running, we heard all kinds of noises in the hallway. Needless to say, we slept really poorly. The bathroom was tiny. There was barely enough room to shut the door once you were inside. I wouldn't recommend La Quinta to anyone, and will certainly never return of my own accord.”

• The staff was friendly and the room was clean.
• The first night we stayed there was a company that does inventory staying there as well. They were loud, rude, and obnoxious.

• The desk staff was very helpful in fixing all our problems as best they could.
• Day one - Trash can in room hadn't been emptied. Day 2 - no towels or washcloths.

“The hotel was ok and the staffs at the desk were excellent. Our room was never quite right. There was trash in the trash can when we checked in. The next day they left no towels or wash clothes. There was a barking dog - Late at night and early in the morning and all of one evening. The staff tried to help, but the room tenant was not there to shut the dog up. I didn't think you could leave a dog un attended in a hotel room.”

• Being able to order New movies out in theatres.
• We had to leave for a family emergency and could not get a refund for 1 night.

“It was ok. Upset that we could not get a refunded for one night as we had to leave early for a death in the family. But it was an ok experience without any children.”

• The outside of the place needed to be picked up, there was trash in landscaping.

“The room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Nice selection for breakfast. This was a nice place for the money. Location was good. The only negative that I would mention is that the outside area needs to be cleaned up.”

“Overall, the hotel was very plain but the staff was very nice. The particular room that we stayed in was far below the expectations that we had. The room was dirty and had an odor. We had to request new bedding so that we felt comfortable sleeping in the bed. The original bedding was stained and had food stuck to it.”

• They met my "special needs" with utmost kindness.
• TV channels (not enough) to basic.

“It was very nice, great security, supportive of my special personal security needs, without question I would be a returning person if I needed it! The TV viewing is the only downfall I personally like a larger list to pick from, but I had a portable DVD player that easily hooked up to the TV, so it was ok. I felt as though I was treated as a person or friend, not just traveler passing through, very nice people at this hotel!”

“The breakfast has a nice selection but the waffle maker was not working. The beds were not that comfortable for my wife but I liked the firm mattress. There aren't that many TV channels. A good location.”

“They didn't make our beds because there were "personal" items on it. The personal items were a toothbrush, toothpaste, a book, and a Pokemon card. I complained and our room was properly cleaned the next day.”

• Beds were more comfortable than I thought they would be.
• Walls were too thin and people in other rooms kept us awake.

“Hotel will give some costumers a king size bed and will not change it to a double if asked. Walls are very thin and I got about 2 hours of sleep because of the noise in other rooms and in the hallway. Beds were more comfortable than expected. Rooms were fairly small but not too bad. The guy at the front desk was very friendly. Breakfast was free and quite good with lots of options (waffles, pastries, yogurt, cereal, etc.) Hotel was very easy to find, right off of l street. Overall we were very happy except for the noise from other rooms.”

• Not very clean; non smoking room smelled of smoke.

“Requested a nonsmoking room and put in a room that smelled of smoke. They offered to move us but had no open rooms left. Staff was very nice. The bathroom was dirty. Dirty hand prints on the wall and on the shower curtain. Window was left open from the guest before and we did not realize it until the next morning. Cleaning staff needs some help.”

• The room was clean and included a microwave and small refrigerator.
• We arrived around midnight and it was hard to get into the hotel because the 1 staff member was busy and not at the front desk.

“Over all we were very pleased with the hotel. It was quiet and the rooms were clean. The free continental breakfast was nicer than expected however some items were a bit stale. Nice to have a waffle maker included. I would stay here again when making this trip (we were traveling through the state on our way to Colorado.)”

• Read question thirteen.

“There were spiders in room 107, plus a strong animal odor. The hotel does accept pets. Moved to #115, found some improvement, but not much.”

• Too high price without price-line for what the room/motel has to offer.

“All staff was great. Called to see if room was okay, quick to remedy any thing that you need or was wrong. I would not stay there if I had to pay full price. I have stayed at nicer motels that the rooms had more to offer than this one did for much less than their regular room rates. Other than that would stay at one again.”

“The public spaces were filthy when we arrived and remained that way throughout our stay. They did not appear to get any attention at all. We arrived at approximately 7:30 pm and had to wait for about 1.5 hours for our 2nd room to be ready. When it was ready, it had not been cleaned. Linens had been replaced, but the room was not cleaned. Daily housekeeping service was late, slow and poor.”

• They are willing to let me get my money back for the 13th. We had a family emergency and had to head home. Very cooperative
• The room smelled of smoke, and there was no phone

“The staff was very courteous and helpful. We paid for a new room, didn't get it. We could get no TV stations with movies unless we paid for them. I have worked liquor before and this place was nothing like it.”

• The whole hotel was very dirty and nasty!

“Lets begin with the hallways they had more dirt then the outside parking lot. And the first night was ok then! The next night we got what they call a suite the sheets had not been change on either bed from the people before us and god knows how long the egg salad was in the fridge. And dont ask about the pool because there isnt one.”

• Cool (temperature in room). Clean. Room service left extra towels for 2nd night without entering room.
• Only 1 waffle maker for breakfast bar.

“Enjoyed stay. Had grandchildren and would have liked a pool. Had requested 1-star, as all the 1-stars on your list in this area have pools. However, was upgraded to a 2-star that did not have a pool, and did not seem to have any additional amenities than did the 1-stars with pools. Curious why fewer extras is rated higher?”
