• The entrance was bright and cheerful and the colors were refreshing.
• I liked everything.

• The pool area looked nice.

“I booked a 3-star hotel. This hotel is in major renovations. The lobby, restaurant and lounge were closed. This hotel was not a 3-star Hotel with those facilities out of services.”

• Pleasant staff, attractive hotel, comfortable, tasty breakfast buffet, location was perfect.

“The hotel was new and really clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was standard, but comfortable. The TV was nice. Our room looked out on the pool and was a cheerful place to stay.”

• Desk help accommodating.
• 2 out of 3 times my room key did not work.

“Staff accommodating, everything clean, everything worked, everything in good condition, pleasant experience. And elevators were conveniently located, so were exterior exits to car park. Ice machine in nook, which kept it quieter for guests. For female, alone, I felt safe.”

• It was difficult to locate. There was not adequate parking when I was there and all rooms were booked.

“We stayed at the hotel after a Texas A&M football game. The hotel room and lobby were very comfortable and attractive, and the daytime staff was friendly and helpful. When I got there, there were no parking spaces, so I had to park in handicapped parking. I was frustrated and tired, and the night clerk was unsympathetic. Fortunately, the quality of the hotel made up for the clerk's incomplete driving directions. I was disappointed that the breakfast buffet was not complimentary as is many other hotels in the area.”

“The hotel staff was not very friendly. We asked about a different type bed for our room and they would not accommodate. We probably would not stay there again since the staff was not very accommodating.”

• Misleading ad about free breakfast promo. Special Breakfast rate required.

“Very clean comfortable atmosphere. Nice pool, workout area. Spacious lobby and sitting area. Extremely peaceful and quiet. If you want a very relaxed, clean hotel, Courtyard is a very good choice.”

• The king size bed and sofa worked perfectly for myself and 2 teenage girls!
• Refrigerator did not seem to work right -- might have been operator error!

“The Courtyard worked perfectly for what I needed. I loved the layout of the room and will definitely stay there the next time I visit my niece at A&M.”

• I liked that it was newer. I also liked the buffet breakfast even if I had to buy it.
• It was very difficult to find and not what the location sounded like. There was also construction everywhere around it.

“This hotel is easily accessible to the Bryan-College Station area. The receptionist greeted us in a helpful friendly way. The rooms were decorated tastefully. The outdoor pool and tables were kept clean. And the hotel staff seemed to go out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay at this Courtyard again if my travels took me there again.”

• The price was reasonable.
• The hotel was extremely difficult to locate.

“The hotel's cleanliness was satisfactory. However, the hotel staff could not seem to ever correct problems. I requested a king size bed and received two doubles and when I asked for a room change they said it would cost extra. The front desk hardly picked up the phone and required multiple tries. The location is by far the worst of all, and especially in a city so small, since it is hidden behind large trees. My recommendation is to call ahead for directions since it is very confusing to find.”

• The location is not as close to the A and M campus as I would like. The bed was not comfortable.

“While the hotel was removed from the highway making it a bit difficult to find, the hotel staff was very prompt and courteous with directions. This is a relatively new hotel and the facilities are very well maintained, making for a very pleasant stay.”

• Not near the majority of local restaurants. 2-3 mile drive to most of them.

“I was very pleased with my stay at the Marriott Courtyard in College Station, Texas. The hotel is the newest (certainly one of the newest) in Bryan or College Station and has a great location in a fast-growing area of the region. The service was good and the rooms were very large and tastefully furnished. The staff went out of its way to be helpful to us. I thought the value was exceptional for the price we paid.”

“The hotel was easily accessible and very clean. The rooms were nice, but the pillows were very small and linens a bit stiff. The bathroom sink area was small also. For the same price you get more room and breakfast is free. The coffee served and offered in the room was bad.”

• Hotel was clean and convenient to a shopping area and restaurants.
• Hotel restaurant staff and housekeeping staff was Hispanic and did not understand English.

“The restaurant advertised eggs cooked to order and listed hard boiled eggs on their sign, but the cook didn't know what hard boiled meant. The housekeeping staff only communicated in Spanish (which I happen to know); this would have been frustrating for those that only speak English.”

• Newer hotel, clean rooms, set back from the road and not crowded in buildings.
• To get into the exercise room you had to walk in from outside the building.

• It was clean-pool, sheets, floors, bathroom. Also had a great room with easy access to the pool.
• The location-it wasn't that easy to see from the road.
