• Close to A&M.
• The front door / lobby door slammed loudly all night long and I couldn't sleep very well because of it.

“The hotel was ok and close to A&M. The front door was right under the second floor and it slammed over again all evening & all throughout the night.”

• Some unpleasant odor in the hall. Continental breakfast area was clean and neat, but was small.

“Super 8 was a pleasant surprise. Our expectations were that it would be less value for the cost. Cleanliness and friendliness of the staff was very good.”

• It was in a good location and they had nice pillows.
• Hallways were dirty and smelled.

“The room was pretty clean, however, the hallways were dirty and smelled. One of our towels were dirty still and our air conditioner over heated during the night and set off the smoke alarm. The beds were okay though, and the pillows were nice. The front desk guy was nice and helpful. We might not stay here again, but it wouldn't be out of the question.”

“Super 8 Motel in College Station, Texas is a great deal for family and business excess on the go. For the price, Super 8 Motel far exceeds expectations and is much more worthy than the 2star rating it presently holds.”

• Free Wi-Fi.
• Everything very dirty smelly.

“I reserved a non smoking room and it reeked of smoke as did the entire floor even though the floor stated it was non smoking. The rooms were dirty, the air, remote and hair dryer did not work. The "continental" breakfast was stale bagels and donuts.”

• Same as other economy hotels.
• The price that I pay was more than the price advertises at the hotel marquee.

“Clean, convenient, no security personnel on the parking lot or inside the hotel that we could see. The price that I pay was more than the price advertised on the hotel marquee when I arrived. Next time I will call the hotel myself and probably save about 15 to 20 dollars per stay.”

• The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly.
• The halls were Narrowing and had a smoke odor.

“This was your basic hotel, the price was right and the rooms were clean. It is in a great location. We enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this hotel.”

• Good, clean basic accommodations. Quiet. Chose it for interior corridors.
• No swimming pool, small room and hallways.

• People hanging out in the hallways and talking.

“Conveniently located. It was easy-in and easy-out and they had a simple breakfast included in the price of the room which was very reasonable for the area. My hotel room was clean and a good value for the price.”

• The convenience in location.
• Power lines right outside window; slow internet wireless.

“This is a basic bed and hot water motel. Just what a person for the night needs. Not a resort. I was disturbed by the high power transmission wires just outside the window, and the low signal on the wireless connection. Couldn't access the office, even on the lobby computer. Continental breakfast with no fruit! Like I said basic.”

• Changed our room to non smoking no problem all allow small pets.
• Noise from other rooms, not sound proof at all.

• I liked the convenient location to A&M campus.
• The bathroom floor needs to be cleaned better.

“I found the hotel to be clean and located conveniently to the college campus. The breakfast is served from 6-9 am but if you are not there before 8 am you will need to get breakfast elsewhere.”

• Good Continental Breakfast, good coffee, Helpful staff.
• Wireless Internet didn't show up on my laptop.

“The hotel is very close to A&M, a quick walk. Desk staff was very helpful, room was small, but bed was fine, wireless Internet was difficult to detect. Breakfast in the morning was coffee, juice, donuts and bagels; not too bad. It is a good, inexpensive hotel. Great for game weekends.”
