• The location to tourist attractions
• The restaurant, the food was overpriced for the quality

• We liked that it was very close to a lot of restaurants and the mall.
• I did not like that there was no smoking rooms at all.

• Free Wi-Fi, heated indoor pool, breakfast, very comfortable bed.
• Pool is visible to all guests, no privacy.

“Friendly efficient staff. Small to average size room with 2 queen beds and a small desk. Room, pool area and public areas were all clean. Free wireless internet was simple to hook up to. The beds were fantastic! Incredibly comfortable with a fluffy comforter sandwiched between two sheets. Each bed had 5 comfortable fluffy pillows. There was a coffee pot in the room. Great shower heads and good water pressure. Sink is outside the bathroom. Heating and cooling system worked well. Fresh cookies in the lobby in the evening. Computer is also available in the lobby. The heated indoor pool and hot tub were clean with towels available. All guests must walk by the glassed in pool area due to it's location off the lobby so there is no privacy. Breakfast was good. Cold cereal, juice, coffee, milk, hot chocolate, fruit, waffle maker, Jimmy Dean Breakfast sandwiches, Yogurt. Small breakfast area but it was adequate. Many good restaurants in the area, several within a short walk. I would definitely stay here again.”

• Update bed linens from a year ago.
• The bed was very soft.

“This hotel is a standard Fairfield. The continental breakfast was good compared to other hotels continental breakfast. A flyer on the pillow said the linens and bed are new and upgraded. The linens were better then a year ago but the bed was really soft.”

• The beds were very comfortable and the room gave a welcoming presence.
• The bath tub drained very slowly. Was standing in shower water during shower.

• The location was quiet.
• The breakfast was lackluster.

“The hotel was very inexpensive, and the room was clean and newly refinished. (The workmanship however was sub par). Breakfast buffet was lukewarm and would have benefited by some muffins or fresh fruit. The exercise room was closed due to breakdown which was a disappointment. Our TV made a loud hum which made it necessary to use captions. All in all I give it a mediocre grade.”

• Staff was as accommodating as possible and the hotel is located within walking distance of a great shopping mall.
• The room we stayed in was a smoking room, we are not smokers, the hotel was full so no other rooms were available.

“The hotel staff were very accommodating in trying to get the smoke smell out of the room, albeit unsuccessfully. I will learn from this mistake and call ahead next time.”

“We were only there for one night. Be careful of directions. Must get off on South Lakeport. Southern Hills Drive is a small road off of South Lakeport. You can see the sign from U.S. 20 if you look hard. Pool is inside and fairly small. Continental breakfast about same as others.”

“Overall the hotel is OK. Just did not like the room not being cleaned. We were in the room when housecleaning came by around 9AM. We were out of the room from 10:15AM to 6:30PM. should have been done.”

• Breakfast was excellent, heated pool and hot tub were a plus.
• Noisy children, water in hot tub got dirty from overuse by kids during the weekend. Also ice machine was broken.

• It was clean and quiet.
• The lack of a comforter on the beds, what was given was kind of chilly.

“This hotel was clean and relatively quiet given that there was a college wrestling tournament in town during my stay. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was open late. My stay was brief but I would stay at the Fairfield Inn again.”

• Close to the major shopping centers and a variety of restaurants nearby, easy access to interstate.
• We have no complaints.

“Perfect motel for what we needed, a place to sleep. We got in late and left early the next morning, so no opportunity to experience the extras like in house bar/restaurants or pool/exercise area. Staff was great, motel was nice and clean.”

• The maintenance staff was very friendly.
• The policies of this chain are not acceptable in my opinion.

“The hotel is very nice and clean. It is in a good neighborhood but they are not customer oriented. I don't know if it is the chain's policy or the managers policy. They discriminate shoppers by having special rooms only for them. I am not saying that they are outside their bounds. I am saying that I am 6 ,10 tall and my wife and I do not fit very well in a queen size bed. I did come back but given the opportunity to purchase travel insurance does I will not stay there again unless they change their policy in writing before I book.”

• We could not get assurance that we would get a smoke free room and I have strong allergies.

• Clerk did not stop rough play in pool area which resulted in my cell phone being knocked into the pool. Desk clerk was not helpful at all.

“Happy with room. Very unhappy with service. My kids and I could not use pool due to rough play by guests. Clerk didn't stop the horse play. Guest pull deck chair into pool. My work cell phone was on the chair and it got thrown in pool. Ruined the phone, and cost me money to replace it. Clerk needed to do her job instead of playing on the net.”
