“I wasn't happy with the location or the quality of this motel.” Mar 28, 2008 by
Erica from Ames, IA
“The facilities were fine, but the walls were very thin and did not keep out the sounds very well. The maid staff started cleaning early in the morning and was talking very loudly in the hallway. There was a very long walk to get to the indoor pool, and there was tile in the pool room that was extremely slick when wet. I came home with a 10in bruise from slipping on the tiling. I would possibly use this hotel again, but mainly because they were reasonably priced and allowed my dog at no extra charge.” Feb 21, 2008 by
Carol from Sanborn, IA
“Even though the price was right and location was good, the motel was so dirty. It needed vacuuming all over, our room was so dirty. We even found a half eaten apple under our bed! Staff were so busy talking to each other they barely responded to our questions. So many repairs were needed throughout the hotel. It was quiet so our daughter could sleep, that was a plus. I do not think we had stay here again.” Jan 2, 2008 by
Maynard from Cherryvalley, IL
“My father told the receptionist at the hotel that we will be back next year when we come through. (Trust me when I say that is a huge compliment).” Nov 26, 2007 by
Kelly from Forest City, IA
“We have stayed at this hotel before and it met our expectations.” Oct 15, 2007 by
Brett from Omaha, NE
“For what I needed this hotel was ok, the location was great for what I was doing, but the hotel was a little on the outdated side and I would have been disappointed had I taken my family.” Jun 12, 2007 by
Kay from Mo Valley, IA
“Nice to have option of 2 pools; staff friendly and helpful too. Indoor pool was messy but due to guests not taking care of it, not hotel issue.” Apr 2, 2007 by
Bill from Bellevue, NE
“This was an economy hotel which advertised some perks. A "deluxe" continental breakfast. (All that was left was a few doughnuts 1 hour before it ended). A "fitness room" that was "umm. Just broken" we were told. The staff was nice but the hotel was old. ” Mar 16, 2007 by
Leonard from Belton, MO
“We abandoned this hotel, losing our money for the last night. The heat was on, so there was no air conditioning. The old system could only do one function at a time for entire hotel. Outside temp's rose to 70, inside on the second floor temp's rose above 80. There are no windows to open. The front desk kept promising to move us, but the night manager said no. The toilet leaked, the drains gurgled every time someone flushed, the shower head was covered with black mold, and the carpet was a tripping hazard with buckling all over. All our clean clothes had to be washed over to remove the odder that permeated everything. I will never purchase another room because the hotel doesn't respond to complaints to people that have prepaid.” Feb 1, 2007 by
David from Omaha, NE
“We will come back to this hotel the next time we are in town. Very good for the money.” Mar 15, 2005 by
Dean from Denison, IA
“It is a lower quality hotel that needs updating to go to the next level as far as quality goes.” Jan 31, 2005 by
Steve from Leawood, KS
“Not near the hotel quality that I have stayed in before at this location. ” Hotel Representatives:
