• Rooms on first floor below street level. Window in rooms just at street level.

• Torn blanket, smelly room, worn out bed and pillows.

“The room stunk. The bed was uncomfortable, my wife and I itched all night, could not sleep. The pillows were worn out. The only good thing I can say is the breakfast was nice.”

• Check in clerk was friendly.
• No one cleaned the recliner or behind it (in the room).

“The hotel needs attention. It is worn. It is difficult to access from the street unless you are traveling east on the road in front of it. There were unsavory looking characters lurking around the outside of the building several evenings when I came back. I did not feel safe. The room was visibly dirty behind the recliner and the recliner had fuzzes on the top of the back. I will not stay again.”

• Limited breakfast, smoky, old.

“I would not recommend this hotel due to its lack of management. It was a very smoky hotel which is bad for us with small children. Even the non-smoking rooms smelled of smoke. Also there were bugs in the bed.”

• They at least corrected their mistakes. Ok food but very limited.
• Made too many mistakes, waffle mix was old, food choices very limited, smoky!

“I would not recommend this hotel for a non-smoker. It was smoky even on the non-smoking rooms. I feel it was more of a one star hotel, not a two star.”

• Everything. Filthy, dirty, apparently mismanaged, poor quality of linens!

“It was a filthy, dirty dump. I don't believe I ever heard a vacuum run once. The room I had looked like it had not been vacuumed or dusted for a month or more. Linen quality was horrible. They need new. Breakfast area was unkempt, unclean.”

• Addressed children running in the hall at 10:00pm.
• Very old furniture, very strong smoke smell.

“I was very disappointed in my stay at Super 8. I will probably never stay at one again. Between the kids running in the hall, the strong musty smoke smell, the old furniture, I could hear the people above me walking at night. Overall, I couldn't wait to leave.”

• Rickety door, no shampoo.

“Not bad for an older place. Polite yet busy staff. Coffee maker and fridge which is nice when traveling with kids (which I wasn't). No shampoo within the room. This is annoying with the new airline rules.”

“Hotel night staff was rude. There was a lot of noise all night long. I could not get a roll away bed which I desperately needed. The entire establishment reeked of cigarette smoke including the towels.”

• The room I stayed in had a microwave and refrigerator, which was convenient for me. The free wireless internet is also a plus.
• All of the staff is rude. The continental breakfast was good when they actually set it up (I went to work without breakfast most days).

“It really isn't too bad if you are a business traveler, except if you are leaving early in the morning and expect some breakfast. The beds aren't the most comfortable and I found a penny under my sheet (I'm still not sure what to think about that). The rooms have a window heat/ac that you can either set on warm or cold, so that's annoying. It's also not the quietest, but I was able to sleep. I would rate my overall stay as a 4/10.”

• It was close to the college met our needs for the trip.
• The room was not cleaned the same each day it got worse.

“The night we arrived it was raining my wife fell when she came in the staff at the time just came and moved a rug on the floor, when she let them know they said there was nothing they could do they did not even ask if she was okay, also that night she had asked the front desk to let her know when the washer an dryer would become available no one ever called, other than that it served its purpose of a safe place to rest.”

• I would have expected this hotel to have a lower cost for what it offered.

“This was a very nice hotel. It was a little off the expressway, but easy to find. The staff was very helpful, they arranged for two beds, and even allowed me to use their computer behind the desk to check on vacation plans. Excellent service.”

• We like quiet motels. We enjoy clean surroundings and convenient breakfast so we do not have to fuss with traffic.
• There were two women visiting in the hall way and talking very loud.

• The room stunk (literally) and the staff offered to do nothing about it.

“Worst hotel I've ever tried to stay at. Checked in and checked out within 5 minutes. The room stinks so badly it made me cough and my eyes water. The staff seemed amused by my discomfiture and offered to do nothing to fix the problem. We had to leave and I missed the Lincoln marathon after I had prepaid for it. It was a really bad experience, and I called and complained to super8 which offers satisfaction guaranteed. Definitely not a two star not even a one star--probably the health department should be called to inspect it.”
