• Beautiful interior comfortable beds and pillows.
• Lobby and elevator was far from parking, had to go clear across hotel.

• Great restaurant, great staff, all employees were great.
• Nobody told us about the parking ,and backside access to the hotel, or if it was free or not.

• It was a little noisy around 2:00 although under the circumstances it was acceptable.

“We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The front desk clerk was exceptional and made us feel like very special guests. The beds are incredibly comfortable as well. We will definitely stay here again.”

• The bed was very comfortable.
• Staff not accommodating especially for this level of hotel.

“Although the room was clean and the bed comfy. Our stay was less than adequate. After a long trip the lobby was poorly marked, then we trekked to room only to have a 2 keys that didn't work and were told to come down for others. Then the cable didn't work, and we had only 3 towels. No one offered to tell us how to get to places either in the hotel or near, and the hotel lounge staff was annoyed that we wanted a cocktail 45 minutes before closing. Staff was rude and unconcerned about our comfort. This was a return stay for us at the Cornhusker, but it will be our last.”

• The restaurant was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. Definitely avoid it.

• Very clean, pleasant staff, nice bedding and beds.
• No hot tub, too far away from downtown and had to pay for parking.

• The rooms were gorgeous! The beds were so comfortable!
• I was not impressed with the size of the pool. It was rather small. I was disappointed there was not a hot tub.

“The hotel was extremely nice! All of our plans were downtown and we were only a couple of blocks away. I was hoping for a bigger pool or at least a hot tub. I was very unhappy with the parking accommodations. The hotel had a parking garage attached. I went to leave at one point of our stay and found out that every time you leave, you have to pay
because the city of Lincoln owns the parking garage and not the hotel. I asked where I could park while staying at the hotel and I was informed the parking garage was the only place available, unless I chose to park on the street and put coins into a parking meter every 2 hours.”

“I was surprised at the change from the last time I stayed at this hotel (10 years). The room was elegant and comfortable. I wish I had a chance to eat in the restaurant, it looked quite good. The staff was very helpful and timely.”

• Walking distance to all attractions, clean, fresh, and updated.
• No free parking in the attached hotel parking garage.

“Easy access & parking with attached garage. Within walking distance to University, Old Market area, and Pershing arena. Rooms are updated, clean, and beds are great. Has a Starbucks located in the lobby. I would recommend this to all travelers whether business or pleasure.”

• The check in staff was accommodating. The room was pleasant. The hotel has a fairly nice downtown location.
• We got lost between the parking garage and the hotel rooms. The pool is in the basement, it was shallow, and there is no hot tub.

“It is not as close to UNL campus and the Haymarket as the other downtown hotels, but it is still walkable to those places. The Hotel is beautiful and the rooms comfortable. The staff met all of our requests. Parking is typically difficult for downtown locations. We were in a good location to walk over to 'Ribfest'.”

• I like the open staircase and the gift shop employees were great.
• They are doing construction on the elevators so you had to take a longer way to get from the parking garage to the room and so on.

• The hotel linens were fabulous and the shampoo and conditioner was from Bath & Body Works.
• Construction detour to get there.

“This hotel was absolutely breathtaking. The hotel linens were crisp, clean and gorgeous. The room was very clean. The hotel was in tip top shape and the workers were extremely courteous and professional. I had not previously traveled to Lincoln, but based on my experience there I would do it again in a heartbeat.”

• Cost for city parking garage 24x7 unless $12 daily valet fee is paid.

“The staff were friendly and courteous, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet. Be advised that if you intend to make multiple trips away from this facility during your stay here, that it could be less costly to pay the $12 daily valet parking fee rather than paying for each separate parking occurrence in the attached city controlled garage.”

• Very comfortable beds, Downtown location was very convenient.
• TV did not have wgn so I couldn't watch the Cubs game.

“The hotel was excellent; the room service food was also very good and affordable. The beds were some of the most comfortable I've slept in on the road. Location is walking distance from many Downtown attractions as well as the University of Nebraska.”

• Parking was not paid for by the motel or validated. There was not hot tub.

• Room was comfortable and clean. Bed was really comfortable.
• I arrived late evening and was not offered valet parking. Buses were blocking the entrance. Only parking is in public garages and is expensive.

“Room was very comfortable and clean. Bed was great. Staff was very polite. Parking was a joke. I arrived late evening and there were buses blocking the loading zone. No obvious valet parking. No valet parking was offered on check in. I had to carry my luggage from a parking garage across the street and up and down stairs because the parking garage elevator was not working. In the morning I discovered that they do have parking. I was quite upset about that issue.”

• Beautiful grand staircase in entrance, friendly staff, great location close to downtown.
• No close parking, had to use city parking garage that was under construction, someone else's hair on Kleenex box in bathroom.

“This hotel is definitely one of the nicest hotels in Lincoln. Great location downtown, friendly staff. The chef even kept the buffet open a little later for us so we could have breakfast. I truly had a great experience.”
