• It is a beautiful hotel. Inside has a huge atrium that reminds me of Vegas.
• The parking was not convenient.

“On the outside, it looks like a normal hotel, but when you walk inside, it looks amazing. The atrium is enormous and it gives a Vegas look to the hotel. The rooms were well thought out for work or just to rest.”

• Swimming pool is too small for this type of upscale hotel.

• Superb value for the money. Big, airy, super clean.
• One of the bell-hops handed me off thinking I wasn't going to tip well. His mistake.

• How the hotel floors opened up to inside like a balcony.
• TV stations sucked.

• It is a beautiful hotel and we had a very nice room.
• Congested Valet and parking area.

“We enjoyed the hotel. We were there for a banquet and spent the night. The food was delicious, the room clean and the bed was very comfortable. We will definitely stay there again.”

• Very clean and staff very courteous.
• Twin Double Beds instead of Twin Queen Beds.

“The Embassy Suites was a very clean and elegant looking hotel. I was immediately greeted with courteous staff (the bell boys and the front desk staff). The room was clean, but I had trouble sleeping because the beds were not big enough (double beds for 2 people). I would recommend 2 Queen size beds in the rooms. Otherwise, the experience was great. The pool and exercise room were very nice and I took advantage of both. I would definitely recommend this hotel.”

• The size of the room, the location, the staff and the amenities.
• Way too many kids.

“Almost from the moment I arrived I knew that I would easily receive the best value for the dollars spent. The hotel itself was terrific in terms of the layout of the room and everything that it offered to guests. There was a free cocktail hour from 5:30 to 6:30 and a huge breakfast buffet the following morning. All included in the price of the room! ”

• Beautiful hotel, very clean, breakfast great.
• Lots of children in the halls. Not usually like that. Think there were family reunions going on.

• Bird screeching all night, shrill screeches, disturbed sleep most of night.

“The hotel is lovely and staff was very friendly. We have stayed at Embassy many times and love the hotel. My daughter wanted to talk to someone the morning we left but had to go to get to airport. She lost sleep and walked down to front desk at 2 am to see what the screeching noise was; as it turned out it was at least one bird in the trees and the noise continued all night. She was trying to sleep on the pull-out sofa but ended up moving into the king bed with her Mother and her 2-yr old daughter. The bed was very comfortable but needless to say, no one got very much sleep. We were very frustrated and are asking if you would consider a reimbursement or certificate for one night at the Embassy.”

• Parking is difficult, one way street make the hotel difficult to get to.

“When I checked in, I was booked in a smoking room. When I asked if non-smoking was available, I was given a room that was inconveniently located at the opposite corner from the elevator, next to the vending/ice machine and with the cooling /heating system humming outside the window. Had I paid full price for the room, I would have requested a change.”

“I called Embassy Suites in Lincoln and requested a nonsmoking room. I was told I would have to wait until checking to make that request. Upon arrival I again requested a nonsmoking room. Room stunk and allergies flared up. I didn't use any services of the hotel as I didn't want to spend any money there.”

• Our stay at the Embassy Suites in Lincoln was incredible. It had a great location and was very comfortable.
• The pillows were too fluffy.

• The Sunday a.m. breakfast buffet was delicious!
• They could not fulfill our non-smoking room request.

“Location was excellent for walking to dinner at many restaurants and the show at the Lied Center. Rooms were clean, comfortable and nice decor. Enjoyed the weekend cocktail hour and Sunday morning buffet. Nice experience.”

• It was clean and well appointed. The indoor pool was a real plus.
• Exorbitant extra charges for parking, amenities, Internet access, etc.

“The hotel was clean and comfortable. Parking was a hassle and got to be very expensive, especially for in-and-out short trips. The happy hour coupons were meted out at the rate of five coupons, total, for three people for three days. Internet access was an additional charge and bottled water was $3.50 per bottle. The indoor pool was a bit cold and the hot tub a bit hot. The breakfasts were abundant and very convenient.”

“The room was great and it was located in conjunction with the University of Nebraska. The room, however, had a cigarette odor and no other rooms were available. Great breakfast and evening cocktails were nice.”

• The breakfast buffet, the price of parking

“While this is a beautifully elegant hotel, we were very disappointed in the fact we were placed in a smoking room when we specifically requested NON-SMOKING. Also, after returning home there was a mysterious charge of $3.50 on our credit card - this turned out to be for water we allegedly drank.....after contacting the hotel they did agree to refund the money.”

• It was very clean,the children had a good experience and the breakfast was also very good.
• A wedding party woke us three times in the night in the next room and the smell of smoke was overwhelming causing me to awake nauseated.

• The hotel was extremely clean and the staff was most friendly.
• No on premisis parking resulted in having to pay for daily parking at a garage.

“With an infant daughter in tow, I was concerned about finding a clean hotel in which I was not afraid to set her down. Embassy Suites exceeded my expectations. In addition, any hotel staff that was passes greeted me with a "hello". Great customer service.”

• I had forgotten a few personal items, and the hotel was able to supply me with the missing items.
• The sheets are a little rough. Maybe use a little less starch!

“I love staying at the Embassy suites. This is my third time I have stayed at this hotel, and I've loved every time. It's comfortable, cozy, and clean. Whenever I am in Lincoln, I can't imagine staying anywhere else.”
