• The price was the best of 4 hotels reserved through Priceline and the accommodations were by far the best!
• I wasn't dissatisfied with anything!

“We were greeted by a very courteous desk clerk who was able to answer all our questions. He assigned a first floor room for me and my 97-year-old father adjacent to the lobby. There was a problem with the toilet in that room and he immediately assigned us another first floor room a few doors down. The continental breakfast was outstanding. Overall this was the best of four hotels reserved for us.”

• The bathroom was not cleaned properly; hair in the tub,dirty floor

“It was ok for an inexpensive place to sleep. The furniture was old and scratched up. The bathroom tub was stained and wasn't cleaned well. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was ok.”

• Location was good & room was fairly clean.
• The bed linens were stained and the shower curtain was torn

“We have stayed at this location on several occasions, but this time the bed linens should have been discarded and the shower curtain needed to be replaced. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.”

• It was clean, plenty of room, easy access to highway and close to the theatre we were going to.
• Four women, two rooms, too far apart and handicapped, the water ran out on the floor.

“Being nice and clean was a plus, but being older women the rooms should have been closer together for safety walking to the car, getting ice, cokes etc.”

“Everything was great except the breakfast, and the maid knocked on my door at 6 am yelling 'service' when I was asleep. I felt safe and the grounds are clean. Overall great.”

• Roomy bathroom and everything worked.
• Door opens to outside, bugs came into room easily; didn't feel safe.

“Great hotel, great location for getting around Plano, Richardson, and Garland. Nice roomy accomodations, comfortable bed, very large bathroom with mirrors on two walls. Room had plenty of storage space for clothes. Breakfasts were good, desk personnel were friendly and fast. Internet was impressive - room had own wireless router
and an ethernet cable for using a computer on the desk. Very happy with this hotel. Still, next time we will probably choose one whose doors do not open to the outside, for safety reasons and because some bugs got into the room under the door. Also, we like having a swimming pool to use - the pool at this hotel always had some trash floating in it when we used it. Tighter maintenance or better protection from the wind would help.”

• The price was good and the beds were comfortable. When asked for a microwave and refrigerator the items were put in our room with no extra charge.
• The hotel personnel were hard to get a hold of and did not assist when asked. The breakfast food and service was poor.

“Movies in room did not work, half of the plugs did not work. Rooms smelled of too much cleaner (what were they covering up). Hotel was fair but will not stay there again.”

• The bathroom was large and had plenty of counter space.
• Not enough towels, air conditioner froze and leaked water on the floor.

“For the price I paid, the hotel was fine. The bathroom was spacious and the room was nice and neat. The staff was also very friendly. My air conditioner did freeze up and leak water on the floor during the middle of the night, but the hotel should not be faulted for that as long as they fixed it and it is not an ongoing problem.”

• This hotel is an older facility, but is clean and accessible.
• Needs quite a bit of repairs to the building, externally.

“For an economy stay, this is a very good choice. It is located on a main highway, easy to find. It served a complimentary continental breakfast, which provided a nice variety of choices.”

• The ice machine.
• The room smelled and was very old and unattractive.

“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was old and in need of a make over. The room smelled of cigarette smoke and that was unacceptable. I was told they had no non smoking rooms and none with king size beds. This was not a pleasant stay and thank goodness it was only for 1 night. I have always had good experience with it but this was awful.”

• The staff was friendly. The room was big and comfortable.
• Even though I asked for non-smoking, the room smelled like smoke.

“The staff was very prompt and friendly. The room was comfortable but rather smoky, even though I asked for non-smoking. I did not complain because I was tired and only wanted to rest. Overall, it was a good experience.”

• The location and I felt safest that location in the city.
• The beds were very uncomfortable or mattress need changing.

“Over all I had no complaints about this hotel it was in a good location, the staff was nice, the room was very, very clean when we arrived. My only complaint was the mattress was very uncomfortable and I woke up with a backache each morning.”

• This was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in, & the air conditioning was not working.

“I was extremely disappointed in the hotel, the bed was awful, the air conditioning wasn't working properly, and the door lock/key gave me trouble every time I went in and out. I had business meetings scheduled from early til late, so I did not have the time nor the energy to change rooms the 2nd day. The other hotels I have stayed in at the same star level, same room rate and same vicinity (Courtyard by Marriott) far exceeded this very miserable cheap motel-like experience. ”

• had to try two rooms before we found one that did not smell

• Did not even stay in hotel. - Very worn down hotel.

“This hotel did not meet the my standards and we did not even stay. We rented a room at a nearby hotel. The hotel was not very clean. The lobby had breakfast trays (very dirty)still in the breakfast section at 05:00 pm. We were not sure the room had been vacuumed. This hotel did not meet our standards and we were only using this hotel as a stop over on our way to San Antonio. Very poor hotel. The Best Western we stayed at next door was much better. There is also a new Holiday Inn Express next door. This La Quinta is very old and dirty.”
