• The public spaces were nicely done.

“The hotel was more than we expected. It was relatively new. Parking was conveniently located in a garage across from the valet services. The room was really comfortable with a nice balcony view. The bed was equipped with a down comforter and feather mattress cover. The lobby areas were gorgeous.”

• Friendly male front desk staff.
• Very unfriendly female front desk staff. The phone and computers were down from the evening till the next day I left.

“The female staff is absolutely unfriendly. The restaurant and bar are the pits. Slow and not very many items and buffet does not get refilled. Food is too expensive for what they give.”

• Very clean and has an open feeling.
• Room is quite close to the elevator. People tend to continue on with their conversation, loudly.

“It is a very nice hotel with friendly staff. I certainly enjoyed the buffet breakfast in the morning.”

• Very clean. Great location. Helpful staff.
• No vents in the bathrooms. No fridge or microwave in rooms. Paid parking.

“I was able to get a very nice room at a great price. After we arrived, we were accommodated with our request for adjoining rooms. They did want to put a hold on our credit card for incidentals, but we convinced them to let us pay for our parking up front with cash and then we had them turn all other services off. I had researched and was prepared for the paid parking. We self parked and avoided having to tip for valet. The parking is in a parking garage and is discounted for hotel guests. The most important thing to me is room cleanliness and this hotel exceeded my expectations. It's one of the few Ive stayed in where I didn't feel I had to be afraid to walk barefoot in the room or stand on a washcloth in the shower.”

• The view from the elevator and the decor of the hotel was nice.
• 1. No free internet 2. Parking garage far away 3. No refrigerator in room.

“4 star accommodations set an expectation for me and it doesn't include art on the wall or the furniture. The rooms were comfortable, but all hotels are. Staff members were friendly - but seemed competitive to see who "gets the tip" both in the restaurant and the valet/bell) rather than customer satisfaction. Would I go back to this hotel - I would not. With amenities being a bonus - this hotel chose to nickel and dime me to death (or $10 me to death) for things I feel other hotels give to their customers as a "thank you" for choosing us reward. PS I received free internet from the City of Richardson, (because I was on the 10th floor) as opposed to the $10 per day fee from the hotel.”

• Was a bit noisier than I expected.

“This is a very attractive hotel with nicely appointed rooms. It seems most suited to the business traveler. I would not recommend it for families. Nice, adequately sized bathroom and comfortable bed. Horrible view (roof top with mechanical systems) from our room on the 2nd floor. The room was not as quiet as I had expected, as I could hear the plumbing from neighboring rooms, doors slamming, etc., Excellent staff.”

• The beds were very comfortable.
• A 4.5 star hotel should have a kitchenette, this did not.

“The hotel was nice, but I had never been to a 4.5 star hotel that did not have at least a small microwave/refrigerator in the room. This was an inconvenience. A public microwave on one of the floors would have been sufficient, but they didn't have that. Also, I have stayed in 5 star hotels that offered a complimentary breakfast; this hotel did not and was disappointing.”

• The beds are wonderful!
• I had called ahead to make sure we had double beds, they would only give us a king, for us and two children and would only give us one roll away bed.

“The hotel is beautiful and the beds very comfortable, but had frustrations that we had to pay $8/day additional for parking and we called ahead to make sure we had double beds for two adults and two children and they only gave us a king size bed and one roll away bed. Very cramped.”

“I would recommend this renaissance hotel to anyone whether it is leisure or travel. It was a great experience. I took my grandchildren because it was spring break and they had a wonderful time in the heated pool.”

• Very clean, modern stylish decor, good quality beds, and extraordinary bathrooms.
• The restaurant and eateries were lacking in a range of selection.

“This hotel was really great very clean and new. The staff was top quality, and the facilities were top grade. We ended up being there in miserable weather, and so spent a lot of time at the hotel, but were not unhappy to be there. Very comfortable.”

“I pretty much like everything about this hotel from the cleanliness to the convenience of its location. The only thing was there was a charge for the parking. The fee is ok, but I think they should have disclosed that to me upfront. I still would have parked there in any case, but I just don't like surprises when I look at my credit card statement.”

• Very high class hotel, very clean and modern
• Every bellman and housekeeper that came to our room stuck around and expected a tip.

“We had a wonderful stay! From the time we pulled up until check-out. They greeted us at our vehicle, unloaded us, took our luggage inside and waited patiently while we checked in, then took us to our room and helped us get settled. We were impressed and left a good tip but felt like it was expected every time. Even when housekeeping brought us an extra blanket. I don't know all the etiquette in tipping bellmen but I know its not required unless otherwise specified. Overall we had a wonderful stay.”

• Easy check in and check out. Very quiet and comfortable. The bed was fantastic.
• It was hard to locate the exit from IH75.

• Friendly, helpful personnel. nice atrium style hotel, newer, everything worked, quiet.
• $7.50 parking fee per day.

“Visually impressive atrium style 12 story hotel with airy luxurious feel to the lobby. room was rather standard for the 4 star rating, but the bed was extremely comfortable, all appliances and fixtures worked perfectly, and although the freeway was outside the window and near, there was no excessive noise from it. best feature was the courteous and friendly staff. did not eat there, but location was not far from many good eateries.”

• Hotel staff was extremely helpful when I requested a room with a balcony. it took no time at all to find one.
• The balcony was literally was 1/2'-1.0' wide; seem kind of dangerous at times; barely enough room for 1 person to walk.

• We liked the openness of the hotel. The style in which all the room doors faced the center of the hotel.
• Easy to miss the street entrance to the hotel.

• The building interior was aesthetically pleasing and the room was wonderful.
• No snack machines for late night hunger. Also, no in room safe.

“The hotel is quite big and beautiful. It has everything you could want for a mini vacation. Even though the building is easy to see from the highway, finding the small street to it is not. My room was very large and the bed was dreamy. I would definitely stay there again.”

• The atmosphere is beautiful and the massage I received was awesome. the beds were so very comfortable.
• The parking. It is a garage parking and it was very cold and it is not covered all the way to the hotel. it is separate.

• Best hotel bed I have ever slept in!
• I had to ask for the MOD to request a non-smoking room. The MOD took great care of my request!

“Beautiful. Great Value for my needs. I got lucky and got the hotel that my seminar was located at. I was not so lucky for the April seminar. I will always try to get this same location in the future.”
