Lloyd from Garnd Forks, ND
“Place was run down, cockroach in Bathroom, Tub drain plugged, grimy. Poorly built building to begin with.” Nov 6, 2005 by
Jonathan from Fargo, ND
“This motel claims to have wireless internet but does not. The showerhead in the bathroom was mounted so low I had to kneel to take a shower. The ceiling was so water damaged it was falling apart.” Oct 24, 2005 by
Kevin from Norway, IA
“It was easy to find and fairly clean but they were slow to wait on me and didn't seem to be very organized behind the desk.” Oct 17, 2005 by
Randall from Satanta, KS
“The staff was very seldom at the front desk. You had to find them. Breakfast was not put out entirely, you had to ask for milk and cereal. The staff gave our room to some else after we were in. They tried to walk in on my wife. Pretty unprofessional experience.” Oct 17, 2005 by
James from Rock Springs, GA
“Well it was hard to get into the parking lot. The phone in the room didn't work when addressed with the staff they asked did I jiggle the wires. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. If I had payed more for the room I would have demanded a refund.” Oct 11, 2005 by
Shawn from Apple Valley, MN
“This hotel was horrible. Nothing in the room worked right. I had a light bulb out. I took the bulb out of the lamp and left it and the light shade on the desk for 2 days to see if the maid service would change it. When I check in to the room there were dirty towels hanging in the bathroom, in the refrigerator there was food from the last guest, and the room appeared it hadn't been vacuumed in a week. I got lost on the way to the hotel and had to call for directions, the gentleman I talked to couldn't even give me directions from where I was. By the way, I took pictures of the room I stayed at.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Oct 8, 2005 by

“It was a dirty, smelly hotel. The air conditioners were wall mounted, very old and noisy. The rooms were incredibly smelly, a combination of dirty laundry and pet smell.” Sep 24, 2005 by
Nancy from Lemars, IA
“It is a great hotel. There was only one minor thing, the toilet kept sounding like it was flushing on it's own, actually we got a chuckle out of that. But we didn't notice it too much with the air conditioner running. If it had been more quiet in the room, it might have been a bit annoying.” Sep 23, 2005 by
Brian from Inman, NE
“Conveniently located next to airport and close to interstate 80.” Sep 9, 2005 by
Andrea from Littleton, CO
“I would never stay here again. The owner or manager (never found out which) only prepared breakfast AFTER guests woke him. It was mingy and stale. The room was superficially clean, but smelled odd. The bathtub was cracked and had been patched. The bathroom ceiling was moldy. All carpets in public areas were stained and floors were dirty. I really thought $35 was a little steep, but I was exhausted and didn't want to try to find something else.” Aug 26, 2005 by
Andy from Van Wert, OH
“I have stayed in many Comfort Inns. This was not up to Comfort Inn quality. It would be one of their lower quality and lower price brands. It was not much better than a Days Inn.” Aug 21, 2005 by
Rj from Staunton, VA
“This is a dump and makes me wary of using priceline for basic hotels. Nowhere near the equalivalent of say, a Hampton or Fairfield Inn. Old property, worn out, dirty, hard to find -- no sign for turn from road; you have to cut through the Days Inn parking lot to get to the Comfort Inn. NOT A 2 STAR, unless a 2 star incorporates things like Roadway Inns and Econolodges! I won't bid 2 star again!” Aug 20, 2005 by
Tammi from Lakewood, CO “Disgusting! I couldn't even walk on the floors without my shoes on. My room looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in weeks!” Aug 19, 2005 by
Chris from Fort Pierre, SD
“The hotel was okay. The personnel who worked there obviously wanted to be somewhere else.” Jul 30, 2005 by
Vishwanath from Ithaca, NY
“Right off the freeway, with minimal amenities. Friendly staff, but unresponsive when it came to fixing the clogged drains we faced. Free wireless internet is a nice plus. A decent enough deal if on a budget.” Jul 29, 2005 by
Daryl from Marion, IA
“Easy to get to the freeway. They turn the air on before you get there. The guy at the desk will show up eventually if you wait a few minutes. They very badly need a groudskeeper!” Jul 28, 2005 by
Jeff from Mccook, NE
“i have had great luck, but this was not a good experience.” Jul 28, 2005 by
Terry from Hastings, NE
“We checked in around 3:30 PM just to drop our bags off. Room had a very strong deoderizer smell. We assumed it had just been cleaned. When we returned at 12:30 AM the deoderizer was gone and the stench was there. We were tired and just went to bed. In the morning we woke to the stench, a bathroom sink stopper that would not stay up and no high speed internet in our room. Hallway floors were dirty.” Jul 26, 2005 by
Chris from Brainard, NE
“Though the hotel was a newer facility, the air conditioning didn't work-only blew out stale, warm air. The room they booked us was a double bed/non-smoking(my husband and I were there celebrating our anniversary!!) The only queen bed rooms were smoking. The desk staff didn't seem interested in going out of his way to be helpfull at all. A rather unsatisfying experience.” Jul 26, 2005 by
Deanna from Shell Rock, IA
“On the website, it showed a beautiful hot tub. It was not hot and the area around not very clean. The public bathroom by the spa where you were supposed to shower was filty and stank. The "video arcade" room consisted of 2 games in a small hall with a pop machine, ice machine, and snack machine. The corridors and stairs needed vacuuming. The rooms were neat but the sheets on my bed had hair all over them. The hotel was across the street from Dr. John's Novelties open 24 hours, very clearly and adult place. I was at this hotel with 9 of my children. The Manager was very nice and curtious. The breakfast was delicious. ” Jul 22, 2005 by
Joe from Loveland, CO
“compared to the Baymont Inn we stayed in Davenport, the Comfort Inn is far inferior” Jul 21, 2005 by
Chris from Omaha, NE
“The front desk man was very nice, the room was a nice size. We got help right away and it was no hassle.” Jul 20, 2005 by
Mary from Holdrege, NE
“This was one of the shoddiest rooms I've had in a long time. It's like this was the room for set aside for the "cheapy and cheesy" crowd. It was not good. I had also called around 5 p.m. the afternoon that we were to arrive to clarify that we could have a two bed non-smoking room. The answer was yes. Then when we arrived we couldn't have that. The woman said it would've been her that I talked to earlier and she didn't recall anything of the sort.I was VERY VERY disappointed-” Jul 18, 2005 by
Douglas from Raymore, MO
“Probably not the best of room preparation help and the general readiness of the room which was a disappointment.” Jul 5, 2005 by
Chris from Antioch, IL
“Except for the air-conditioning not working, it was an acceptable hotel-very bare bones.” Jul 5, 2005 by
Jessica from Salt Lake City, UT
“The location of the hotel was good. It was also nice to have a more extensive continental breakfast than is typical. The only criticism I have is that one of the members of my party was given a room that was unmade, with the bed covers strewn all over and the wastecan in the middle of the floor. It was remedied after he spoke to the receptionist but the person manning the desk seemed incredulous about the room's state and did not have the best service skills in dealing with it.” Jul 5, 2005 by
S from Bridgeport, WV
“Did not enjoy hauling luggage up to the second floor. The bathroom in the room was very unclean. The room was barely acceptable in cleanliness. The hotel lobby was very dark making you wonder what dirt they were hiding. Very few amenities considering other hotels very close had nice pools.” Jun 30, 2005 by
Roy from Hurricane, UT
“I would not have stayed here if I would have previewed the motel” Jun 30, 2005 by
Jeffrey from Pontiac, IL
“I would never recommend staying at this hotel. For the price paid we should have gotten a room twice as nice. This hotel's star rating far exceeded itself. I would rate it at less than a 1 star hotel. The room smelled bad and the hallways were not air conditioned. The staff was uncooperative in providing special request that were called in over 2 weeks in advance.” Jun 29, 2005 by
Mark from Norfolk, NE
“this was the worse hotel experiance I have ever had, the toliet did not work...the person working said well I am alone cant help you, the spa was closed the room smelled so bad..and the worker agreeded it did she brought me room spray..which had a label of window cleaner,,,,but she assured me they had refilled the bottle...with out changing the label....the food at breckfast was awful..this is the worst I have had by far...had to go to emergancy room next day due to inability to breathe...dr thought possibley due to molds and mildews” Jun 29, 2005 by
Beth from Lakewood, CO
“On a scale of 1-10, it was a -3. The room smelled strongly of cleaner. There were bugs in the bathroom, the staff tried to charge us again when we arrived, and the "continental breakfast" consisted of doughnuts, cereal, juice, and toast. Both the "spa" and the waffle-maker were out of order.” Jun 29, 2005 by
Erika from Genola, UT
“ This one was less-than-great. Ironically, we paid the most for that hotel, and it was a lower-grade, but I did not think it met the expectations of the other Comfort Inns I've stayed at.” Jun 10, 2005 by
Buster from Wichita, KS
“The staff made an attempt to be helpful but seemed to be hampered by inadequate staff and/or access to requested items. We asked for additional blankets-they could find only one. We asked for a plunger-one couldn't be found. The only fresh fruit with breakfast were old, soft apples and a rotten orange. The were short on napkins, knives, and had no peanut butter. I've stayed at other Comfort Inns that were in much better condition and were much better equipped.” Jun 8, 2005 by
Lori A. from North Platte, NE
“It is a clean motel, although outdated, it is a bit out of the way from everything, the staff is very friendly and helpful, if breakfast could be moved to another location it would really help, it's too crowded, and nearly impossible to check out with all your luggage during breakfast, because you have to walk through the breakfast crowd.” Jun 1, 2005 by
Paul from Beatrice, NE
“My wife and I were absolutely disgusted with the cleanliness of this hotel. There was filth and grime in the hot tub, along with hair all over the bathroom.” May 26, 2005 by
Steve from Grand Island, NE
“somewhat rundown.......difficult to get into parking lot.....only entrance was through perkins restaurant parking lot.....drove by several times trying to figure out how to get in!” May 17, 2005 by
Karen from Atlantic, IA
“Motel is located in the west edge outskirts of Lincoln close to the airport. Lots of construction is going on at the time we were there.” Mar 14, 2005 by
Beverly D. from Lacrosse, WI
“O.K. for immediate needs but located too far from other city businesses. Very basic--only would use for emergency needs.” Mar 9, 2005 by
Kelly from Columbus, NE
“Two separate times during the night someone tried to get into our room. It is possible it was another guest at the wrong room, but at 3:00am it is alarming” Feb 21, 2005 by
James from Brainerd, MN
“The hotel was fine, price was good. Location; it was too far from my destination.” Dec 20, 2004 by
Michael S. from Boulder “This hotel does not have central heating. Instead, it uses a combination, wall mounted heating/AC unit that is a bit noisy. I think a 2 star hotel ought to have central heating.” Dec 3, 2004 by
Dwight D. from Durham “Our non-smoking room was very pleasant, no bad odors and was very clean. The motel staff was very helpful and courteous.” Oct 13, 2004 by
“We had stayed at this facility before so were familiar with it and what it had to offer. They have a great breakfast in the morning which is also a real plus. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely go there again.” Sep 29, 2004 by
Thomas L. from Brainerd, MN “Nice Staff. Breakfast so so.” Sep 22, 2004 by
Lisa L. from Kearney “The hotel was fine, except that it had a strong musky odor which was not pleasant.” Sep 22, 2004 by
Lindsay B. from Spirit Lake “The breakfast was good.” Sep 19, 2004 by
David B. from Fort Lauderdale, FL “I looked at the room and I was sick! This place is just gross dirty filth.” Sep 14, 2004 by
Jeff B. from Holdrege, NE “Rooms were very clean. Nice breakfast bar in the mornings. If you are just looking for a bed and a roof over your head, this is a great hotel and a good price.” Sep 2, 2004 by
Michael S. from Boulder, CO “The room air conditioner was a bit noisy, and the room a bit musty. But I've been in worse places in Lincoln, NE.”
