• It gave us the feel of pleasure.
• The air conditioner burnt out on us in the middle of the night, scared us to death smelling smoke.

• It is remodeled & comfortable.
• The new TV didn't work well, unable to access the pay movie channel.

“The hotel is in the process of being remodeled, but it is comfortable, clean and central location to areas we planned to visit. The standard size hotel room has been redesigned to provide a different feel to the environment. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The beds are comfortable and the linen is great. The beautiful new TV had poor reception and we were unable to access the pay movie channel. For the money we paid, I would have enjoyed having more coffee and tea, we only had two cups of coffee and one tea (the little pot makes one cup at a time, cute but not useful for a coffee drinker). The little things mean a lot. I think the cost is a little too pricy for the redesigned hotel rooms.”

• There was a coffee maker.

“This hotel was not quite what I was expecting, given how much I paid. The front desk people were less than attentive, even when you were standing right in front of them, the carpet felt slick, the bedspreads smelled funny, and various other annoyances (i.e., the remote to the TV was non-operational, and no amount of calls to the front desk could get that fixed). Overall, not a pleasant experience.”

• I had an unpleasant experience with a bug in my bed.

“Parking at this hotel was good. Access to 635 and 75 very easy. Room had a musty odor. Manager made arrangements to remove all linen from my room after the bug was discovered crawling across the mattress, under the covers.”

• It was priced very well.
• The staff at check in was having a bad day and she let everyone around her know.

“Overall the experience was good. It started off on a bad note when we arrived to check in the woman at the desk was having a bad day at work and let anyone and everyone around her know about it. When I¿m on vacation, I want it to be upbeat and not start off that way. The room was clean and the hotel breakfast was nice.”

• The person who checked us in tried to assist us in getting a satisfactory room.
• The morning after I made the reservation, I called to make sure it was non-smoking and 2 beds. Got neither.

“See nos. 13 & 14 above. The person at the counter tried to get us the correct room, and was finally able to get us a non-smoking, but it was handicapped, which made me feel guilty. However, it only had one bed with a sleeper. We took the mattress off the sleeper and put in on the floor, but that was rather inconvenient and uncomfortable. The hotel was situated for what we wanted and the original employee who tried to help us was wonderful. Otherwise, it was mediocre at best.”

• Lack of whole grain items at breakfast - pillows was very flat.

“The hotel met our expectations. The room was clean and adequate. It was very quiet and we got a good night's sleep, which is my number one priority. There was a nice hot breakfast to get us going each morning, although there were a lot of white flour items and no whole grain starches. All in all, a pleasant stay.”

• Enjoyed all and the A/C works better than any hotel.

• It is uncomfortable looking at TV in the living area because of the positioning.

“Hotel staff is great. Rooms are nice size. Kitchenette, table and couch are nice and separated from beds. They provide little things that are nice like forks and spoons, hair dryer, cups, etc.. My friends and I will stay here again! There is some road work but easy to manage.”

“The front desk staff was very nice at check in and throughout our stay. The free breakfast was very good with a wide selections of food, my hubby and I were very happy and surprised. The only thing, the elevator was too slow and we had to take the stairs and that is very hard when you have a baby with you. But overall we enjoyed our stay.”

“I had completed a long 5 hours on the road and although it took me a bit of an effort to access the road that led me to hotel, was pleased with the ambiance of the hotel and the quality of the service. The front desk was more the helpful and elevated my impression of their facilities, a pleasant change of pace from the place I had stayed at before.”

• It was close to our destination.
• We were put in a smoking room when we requested a non smoking room and the elevators were slow.

“We travel to Dallas to visit our son at college several times a year and this was the first time we had a negative experience with our room. Not only did we get a smoking room, the bathroom wasn't cleaned very well. I told the front desk and nothing was done, not even when they cleaned the rooms.”

• The BED was very uncomfortable, sheets too small for bed, needs replacing.

“My husband and I are seniors and needed a place to stay so that I could be at an early doctor's appointment the next morning. The price was fair, the hotel staff very helpful and friendly and courteous. The room very clean, air conditioning with a good TV. The only negative report would be the bed was horrible! Please consider replacing it before another guest books this room. ”

• Elevators were not working well at all and employees were smoking outside the exit doors so that customers had to make their way through lots of smoke.

• Was a little difficult to find.

“This hotel is one that I would recommend to business travelers like myself. They offer several complimentary amenities and treats as well as free high-speed int. access. The furniture was scarred badly and the furnishings needed updating, but overall I enjoyed my stay. I was alone so the cosmetic stuff wasn't a really big deal.”

• The room was sticky Things were not taken care of even with a maintenance request.

“Not surprised as the maids were fussing with each other in the hall one day. Already, I was expected by the hotel staff to call my bank and stop the charges myself. They also charged a $25 deposit for incidentals, which is unusual They were way too happy with my credit card, but did eventually straighten it out after I got upset.”

• It is not easy accessible and there was construction near the location.

“The front desk gave me a hassle claiming that the room had to be in my name even though the reservation was made using my credit card. The front desk did not want to give me the room for this reason. ”

I was a little discouraged by the construction surrounding the hotel, but that is not in their control. The hotel was fabulous and I hope to stay there again in the future.”
