• The beds were very comfortable, more so than most hotels.
• The walls were a little thin, easy to hear people walking by our room.

“We were very satisfied with this hotel, the breakfast was very good and had a large selection. Our room was very comfortable and made for a pleasant trip. The hotel is also located right by Sioux Fall's main mall and close to restaurants.”

• Very comfortable beds.
• The sound reverberates in the pool area. Acoustics are very bad, making it extremely noisy with just a few children playing there.

• This hotel has always been clean, friendly, and check in/check out quick.
• Lack of seating area for breakfast.

“The hotel is clean and friendly. Very close to the mall and interstate exchange for quick trip to any part of Sioux Falls. The breakfast selection has been increased for a wide variety to accommodate the pickiest eater. Also had board games available to play for more family togetherness. Way to go Fairfield Inn.”

• The people that worked there were very friendly. The motel was very clean and comfortable.

• It was convenient.
• It was not as nice as I had hoped for.

“The customer service was good but the beds in the room were very spongy and didn't offer much support. It felt really cheap. The decorations were not attractive at all. The TV had problems (which they fixed when called) The payperview channel had few movies to choose from. It was not a bad hotel, it just didn't meet my expectations.”

• The room was noisy from Interstate traffic.

“Fairfield Inn is a nice, lost-cost place to stay. This particular location is right next to I-29. The rooms on the NW side of the hotel are quiet noisy from the traffic. The other side is more sheltered from the noise. The place also has a great staff.”

• It was clean and not so busy. We had time in the pool without so many people crowding us out.
• Nothing.

“If you want a comfortable, quiet stay this is the hotel for you. We have stayed at this hotel before and hope to stay again as it is one of my favorite places in Sioux falls. We have not been disappointed at any time that we have stayed there. They go out of their way to make you feel right at home. I hate to let the cat out of the bag as I am sure by telling you all the good things about this hotel many more people will want to stay there and when we want to stay the next time it may be full.”

• The walls seemed a little thin. Could hear other people in hallway and in rooms adjacent.

“We chose 2 stars for Sioux falls. We were approved for the Fairfield inn by Marriott. It was a very nice hotel, the rooms were clean, and the hotel was in a great location It is a little tricky to find, it is in the mall access road, you can't get to it from the main road. Turn into mall and drive towards toys r us, it is located back by there. There are a lot of restaurants in the area, you may need to drive to them, but they are easy to get to. Very enjoyable and I would stay here again.”

• Tricky to get to drive through mall traffic to get there.

“This is a great economy hotel. Friendly staff, clean, updated rooms, free internet, and comfortable beds make this a great place for a short stay or business trip. The hotel is located on the opposite side as a busy mall, so it is a little bit of a hassle to get to in traffic. Overall, it's a great choice for a lower priced hotel in the Marriott family.”

• We have spent time in several motels recently and this motel was by far the best!
• No comment.

• The pool was not located in a good place.

“Overall, the hotel was good. It was a very compact hotel. The pool was very close to the lobby and everybody who had to go to their rooms would peek in the pool and too much traffic by the pool area. So no privacy at all. Other than that it was a clean and ordinary hotel.”

• It had very quiet rooms.
• It was difficult to locate and I know Sioux Falls very well.

“I think this hotel was pretty good. I thought the rooms were very quiet and comfortable though I was disappointed that there wasn't any refrigerator in the room. It's pretty hard to find if you don't know Sioux Falls pretty well and happen to know you have to go through the Empire Mall parking lot to access the hotels behind it. The staff was frazzled but friendly as there were non-stop travelers checking in at the same time we did.”
