• The guy at the desk at checkin was nice and helpful.
• The room decor was very dated. Everything was just old.

“Not a good experience in general at this hotel. However there was one interesting thing. This could be positive or negative. There was a crew exploring and filming called Everyday Paranormal. Will air on Discovery in early October. Several suicides and a murder at the hotel. Hauntings in basement, 8th and 10th floors. Enjoyed talking with the crew. Yes I love this stuff. Glad we were staying on the 6th floor.”

• Location.
• Noisy.

“Clean, well maintained, near the Dallas Museum of Art and had a shuttle for guest use. The hotel is an older building and is somewhat more noisy than expected, ie. loud guest noises in adjacent rooms, traffic noise intruding from outside the hotel.”

• This hotel is suddenly showing a lot of wear that was not evident a year ago.

“The quality of the previous renovations are now showing through; broken railings in the elevators and stairs, peeling wallpaper, peeling enamel on the re-coated bathtubs, poorly repaired door frames, worn exercise equipment, etc. You
can still get some very attractive prices for the quality of the facility but it's definitely dropped down a notch since my last stay there.”

• The bathroom/room was smaller then most closets.

“This was a horrible experience. The hotel was not in any way worth the money and no one was willing to take responsibility for the service or room.”

• The Bed was so soft and comfortable.
• Shuttle Van not reliable.

“I had to change rooms because the air was turned off when you left the room by way of sensor and when I returned it was 83. My next room had the sensor off. The shuttle service is not reliable and when you call for a pickup the staff tells you what you want to hear not what is really going on. e.g. He will be right there when in fact they were not going for another half hour. Pick up waits were over one hour. Shuttle should be on the hour and then you can work around their schedule. After the air issue my room was great. The restaurant in the hotel was simply wonderful. I would go back but I will make other arrangements for shuttles. I ending up taking taxis whose costs were not budgeted originally.”

• Had a bad situation and they took care of it.
• Can't think of anything.

“Pleasant hotel near convention center, west end, arc, 6th floor. Has a 3 mile shuttle that takes you around in area. overall nice place.”

• Staff helpful & professional, my service like large hotel.
• Carpet in hall really needs cleaning.

“Hotel is older, rooms are small but still acceptable, shower nice. Staff very helpful, many restaurants and DT area very close.”
