• Luxury, comfort, amenities such as pool, hot tub, fitness center.
• Should have had robes in the room.

“Everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations. If luxury is a desire you should definitely stay at this hotel. Top notch facilities. I look forward to staying again. Wish I stayed more than one night because I didn't want to leave!”

• General Manager was friendly and eager to resolve discourteous personnel issues.
• Parking attendant was rude, aggressive and hostile. I was very intimidated.

“The hotel was old and a little less than a 4-star. The parking attendant was extremely rude and hostile. However, the general manager was very sympathetic and eager to deal with the problem. He was very customer friendly. The hotel was in nice location. Overall, it was an above average stay. Will recommend to friends and family.”

• Clean, smelled nice, friendly staff, quiet.
• It is one the corner of two freeways, sometimes, you could not go straight to the hotel, you had to take the long way around.

“Awesome experience. It was quiet, clean and had a wonderful staff. Parking was a bit high $12 per day plus tax. I would stay here again and again.”

• Upon entering the hotel, it speaks of refined class.
• The bathroom needs serious updating.

“This was an ok place to stay, but is not fair to say it is luxury. I've had just as nice in a La Quinta. They need serious renovations in the bathroom area. I won't go back.”

• They were very friendly and very clean. We were very satisfied with everything.
• The only thing is that they did not have an indoor swimming pool. It was raining and the water was cold. I thought valet was a little high.

• The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet.

“Overall very nice hotel, but I would make it a 3 star rather than 4. It needs to be updated. But, it was convenient and nice.”

• Location was excellent for where I needed to go (i.e. Cooper Clinic on Preston Road).
• Ice machine on floor 4 was not working. I went to floor 5 each day.

“Grounds, lobby, and room were excellent. Parking was more expensive than I expected. Location was also excellent.”

• Convenient location, moderate price, quite air conditioning.
• Mold in tub! Small rooms, old carpet, no view, cracks and chips in the sink.

“I normally stay in Best Westerns when traveling. But for my anniversary I decided to get a 4 star hotel for my wife and I. It was a beautiful hotel, conveniently located close to the Galleria shopping Center. But I do not believe it's worth 4 stars. The lobby is nice but the hallways to the rooms are dark and have old carpet in them. The room was just ok. I expected a larger room and the furnishings were old and worn. I do have to admit that the room had a very quite AC and the bed was very comfortable. The bath tub was cracked and had mold at the joints. The sink had chips and scratches in it. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was disappointed that I had to pay an extra $10.00 per day to self park my car, and another $10.00 per day for internet access, and the price of the room did not include a breakfast like most Best Western do.”

“I guess this hotel must have been a 4 star in its day but it a bit outdated. Bedding/bed was 4 star, carpets were filthy, bathroom clean but out of date. Toilet lever sticky, shower caulk over moldy caulk.”

• The beds and bedding were extremely comfortable. Excellent in other words.
• The parking was across the street in a building. In bad weather it would be undesirable.

“This hotel had a lovely spacious atmosphere. One could walk indoors to exercise by going in the connecting buildings which made a very fine and attractive route. The only drawback was the parking which really didn't matter as long as the weather was good. The personnel we encountered were all very polite and helpful. It was an extremely pleasant stay.”

• The room seemed a little small, but we did not pay for a larger room.

• The pool area and fitness area were very attractive and clean.
• The food from room service was not very good, but the service was excellent.

“We were very pleased with this hotel. The parking garage is across the street from the hotel, which is a little inconvenient. The staff was great, especially room service staff. The actual food from room service was a bit disappointing. The pool area was beautiful and very clean. Once you find your way to the hotel, it is actually in an area that is very convenient to shopping and dining.”

• Room to small for the price and the hotel.

“Pay parking. No cont. breakfast. Not close to anything good. Pool was never open when it was supposed to be. I was not impressed, for a Hilton. Room seemed very small, bath as well. Had to ask for towels, tissue etc., not enough in the room. We didn't get our wake up call, so we were late for my aunts funeral service. Not good!”

• The bed was super comfortable with a pillow-top mattress and ample pillows.
• The front desk staff was not personable.

“Beware: There is an extra $11.95/day computer charge for internet access in your room (although there were 3 computers (only 2 working) by the front desk which could be accessed and then print to a color printer at the front desk). Also, there is a $10/day charge for parking. Overall, if beautiful decor and cleanliness are the most important to you, you'll love this hotel. However, if you also need good customer service and reasonable prices for internet access and parking (i.e. free) this might not be the place to stay.”

• Difficult to get to and needs a renovation.

“Getting dated; needs renovating. Nice pool. Parking is $10/night, ridiculous. And the front desk clerk was not only stupid, she was rude. Ditto for the parking garage attendant. I didn't save as much as usual.”

• The only thing that I can come up with is it wasn't really close to our destination, but no baggy!

• Room was small, not what I would expect for 4 star.

“The hotel was clean and the lobby was nice, but the room was small and not very well decorated. It also did not have a refrigerator. We had a very unattractive view of the tarred roof above the entrance. The restaurants were very expensive, and we had to pay extra for parking.”

• I liked the decor of the room, the bedding, the beds were very comfortable and really liked the cool temperature.
• I did not like having to pay to park. I like a hotel that offers a breakfast bar.

“We enjoyed staying at this hotel because of its location - close to the Galleria. The bellhops were extremely polite and very helpful. It was a little crowded because I believe there was a convention going on. I do not like having to walk across the street to the car and no way should we have to pay to park. We enjoyed in room dining and the front desk clerk was courteous.”

“We found the common areas of the hotel to be spacious, comfortable and beautiful. In addition the facility was very "user friendly;" the layout of the facility was not confusing, and the staff was extremely helpful. Additionally, we found our room to be quite comfortable and very clean. Perhaps most important to this leisure travel family was the proximity to the Galleria!”

• The front desk was very helpful and friendly.
• The bathrooms of our first two rooms of the night were not clean.

“The hotel was beautiful from the outside and in its public areas. The staff was on point. The first two rooms we tried to settle in to for the night were terribly unclean. Hair was all over the bathroom floors, the tubs, the sinks. I am expecting and was very sick that evening. We were in Dallas for an appointment with a specialist. Having to change rooms twice was very inconvenient and disappointing.”

• Easy access and valet personnel were very attentive and friendly.
• Check in staff was polite yet not friendly. No warm fuzzies with this team compared to valet team who were customer focused.

“Conveniently located near excellent shopping areas and restaurants. Free shuttle to and from Galleria driven by friendly and service-focused valet staff. Easy access to and from major freeways. Great exercise facilities with wonderful family swimming pool.”

“At one time this was a nice hotel even a 4 star hotel but it feels dated and old now. Bed and bedding were nice, comfortable, and attractively appointed. Bathroom needed paint, looked old. Old style furniture, no minibar/fridge.”

• The staff are very accommodating and pleasant. Hotel is safe and close to the amenities that were needed.
• The tub was not in good condition and dirty with some of the tub re-coating coming off.
