• Not only is the hotel beautiful and comfortable, but they are pet-friendly which was such a welcome surprise!
• You have to pay for parking each day.

“This hotel is a modern and beautifully decorated. The rooms are large and very comfortable. It is located in a great spot - right across from the Galleria. The best part was that they are pet-friendly. We had a great time!”

• The location was great.

“This hotel had a great location. It sits right next to the Galleria Mall and is very close to highways that can get you in and around Dallas. Very nice hotel and the rooms were very large and spacious.”

“We enjoyed the hotel but didn't like being forced to pay a high valet parking fee. The room & the hotel decor where first class. The larger room was nice & the TV was excellent. The fitness center was nice, large & well equipped.”

• Spacious, unique, location, big LCD on swivel.
• No Fox News? Desk is cool, but stools cut off my circulation. No self-park option.

“Very unique and modern decor. Lots of space inside the room. Convenient location, but difficult to enter from the North. Fabulous big flat screen TV on a swivel, but politically slanted far to the left (Has CNN, HLN, MSNBC and no Fox News.). Mandatory valet parking has good service, but it would be nice to have a choice. $18 + tips get a little pricey when I was in and out a lot.”

• Location.
• No extra linens.

“Indicated of travelers as two adults and one child. Upon check in, I was informed that they were overbooked and gave me a king room. No extra linens were available for the sofa that does not pull out for a bed. Restaurant and lobby atmosphere not conducive to small children.”

• Loved the overall look of the hotel, excellent accommodations for business travelers.
• They automatically debited our credit card for $40 and then would credit it back. Complimentary valet parking was $18 a night.

“Booked the hotel as a surprise for my husband for our anniversary. It was down the street from his office and the Galleria so he could sleep in late. Very pleased with the staff and the overall accommodations. The room was nicely equipped with everything and decor was modern. The sofa was not comfortable at all although it did fit in with the decor perfectly. Construction next door started around 7:30am. the only problems we incurred were the hotel automatically charges your credit card $40 assuming you will use the drinks/snacks provided in the refrigerator or use the movie or internet service. They also have what they complimentary valet parking and then charge $18 a night. There is not an option to park yourself.”

• Very modern hotel with extremely friendly staff.
• Pool was too chlorinated. Hard to sit in area watching kids, made throat burn.

“Decor is very modern. My children loved the swivel flat screen TV. Rooms are large compared to most rooms. Sofas don't convert, but are extra wide for sleeping one child. Staff is extremely accommodating and friendly.”

“The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are impeccably clean and very well furnished with a modern look and feel. The only complaint I have is that the parking is valet only and carries and $18 per night charge.”

• It smelled wonderful when we walked in. It was very roomy and clean in the rooms.
• It was valet parking only at $18 per night. We parked across the street and were given a parking bill anyway.

“This hotel is located just east of the Galleria shopping center and access to I-635 is relatively easy. We've stayed at this hotel previously and each time we have enjoyed our stay. Be aware, though, that parking is valet only in this hotel.”

• The location was close to my husbands work and our home.
• the price for parking, and the dial up internet was horrible.

“The rooms were very large and accomodated my husband's need to work and my desire to relax. The water in the bathroom was instantly hot and never seemed to run out. The cleaning people were very helpful,fast,and professional. The people at the desk were professional, but not very personable; the valets were however,very personably and friendly.
The pool is small and poorly maintained for linens, and had an exorbinate amount of chlorine Friday evening. The decor in the lobby is very modern and not very comfortable, as also were the sofa and chairs in the rooms.”

• The decor of the hotel was beautiful! My two young daughters loved it! Pink, black and white! Right across street from Galleria!
• Did not like the valet parking. Also, did not like the indoor pool. It was too small.
  

“We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The chic colors and modern furnishings were beautiful. My two daughters were in heaven! I was not impressed by the pool. They might as well not have even put a pool in. It is indoors, shallow, and very small. My only other complaint is the parking charges. Still I would highly recommend this hotel!”

“The hotel was very nicely furnished, I loved the security of having to use my room key to go to my floor after business hours., However, the fact that there is only valet parking, thus making it mandatory, and charging $18/night plus taxes is ridiculous. Either make it optional or do not charge extra for it. For that reason alone we will not return to this hotel, or any other of their hotels.”

• Very nice room.
• Price of parking, not responsive on request for towels, toilet would not flush.

“It is rediculus to have to pay $20 for valet parking that is next to the hotel. Service was not resonsive to a request for bath towels (only one was provided for the two of us). I finally went to the desk to complain and they were delivered. The bed was not very comfortable. However the room was nicely decorated.”

• Very nice remodeled rooms. Friendly staff.
• Valet parking only at $18 a night.

“We have stayed here before before the renovation. They have done an excellent job. The room was great and larger than average. Everything was very clean. My only complaint is that there is only valet parking which costs $18 a night. I was not expecting that. Your room key has to be used for the elevator and this was a little inconvenient. Overall we were once again very pleased with the hotel.”

• Convenient to good restaurants.
• Air-conditioning was inadequate. Valet parking was extremely slow, and very overpriced.

“Hotel located in very nice area, and appears to be very nice. But air conditioner did not work properly and entire facility was not cooled properly. Priceline does not mention that there is a $20 charge for valet parking - in fact, lists parking and valet parking as a feature. Parking yourself is not an option and service was overpriced and extremely slow. Housekeeping service was also very marginal.”

• Took 4 days for staff to replace a broken coffee maker.

“This hotel is not a four star hotel. It is a remodeled former 3 star. The couches in the lobby are ridiculously uncomfortable all in an effort to be contemporary. I did not like being charged $18.00/nite for parking. There are no drawers anywhere in the room for someone staying longer than a few days. I stayed six and had to leave all my belongings in my suitcase which I don't like. It took the hotel staff four days to finally bring me a replacement for a broken coffee maker. The phone did not work.”

• Beautiful, almost a work of art.
• None functional, don't stay more than one night.

“My first unpleasant experience. No drawers in the room for clothes. Very modern and very uncomfortable seating in my room. The work desk is bar height. The seat back on the bar stools at the work desk are cross hatched metal rods with no padding; imagine that against your spine for awhile. Very modern but very poor lighting. Not a single light to read by in the room. Alarm clock with iPod connection cannot be read from across the room or even within five feet. Closet has a safe which is placed so high you cannot hang even a shirt in half the closet. The room is large and beautiful.”

• GORGEOUS! Everything is new, sheek, & Modern.
• Parking is $18, and the parking like is about 8 feet from the front door.

“Hotel is newly renovated, the rooms are the most spectacular I've seen in quite a while! Rooms are LARGE! MASSIVE! They should really rethink the $18.00 valet parking fee. That is ridiculous, and they should be ashamed of themselves. My car was right outside the front door, and I paid $18 for them to drive it 3 feet and park it. It was a waste of my gas.”

• Upscale chic decor, great location - across from Galleria shopping mall.
• Valet only parking
  at $20/day! Swimming pool was cold.

• Air conditioning out. Smoky non-smoking room, rude staff, unclean room.

“This hotel should definately not be rated a 4. The hotel was poorly taken care of - both the building issues (the air conditioning went out - and we were told it happens frequently, the poorly appointed room, and the staff was not friendly or courtious. We have stayed at many Starwood properties and this is subpar.”

• Vehicle window was broken and
  GPS system was stolen. Hotel did absolutely nothing to help the situation.

“Great hotel location but we ended up having a worst weekend possible. Vehicle was broken into and GPS system was stolen. Were told by hotel operations manager that the hotel was not responsible for any loss. Even though the vehicle was parked in there parking lot. Stated that they have a sing in the parking lot stating that they are not responsible. This sign is only visible to valet employees. Be very cautious when staying at this hotel because if anything happens to your vehicle the hotel is not responsible.”

• Beds were the best, clean, and bright.
• Room location across from elevators, wire chairs.

“The room was across from the elevators and each time the elevator moved we heard it. The wire chairs with saddle blanket cushions were uncomfortable to us fat butted folks, the free Internet didn't connect or the signal was a slow 11 mbps. No parking except valet parking.”
