• Poor lighting in room, going overboard to be energy efficient.

“This is a good hotel for business and leisure with good access to the Galleria and major Dallas streets such as the Dallas North Toll Road, I635 (LBJ), HWY 190 (Bush) and I35 (Stemsons). Better than several hotels in the area that bill themselves as 4 star.”

• The fact that I had to pay for parking.

“This is definitely a nice hotel to stay. Its centrally located. Its close to the Galleria Mall (Just in case you like to shop). Its environment and surroundings were clean and the rooms were well kept. The hotel staffs were nice, friendly and willing to help. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to a friend.”

“Great location. Hotel was very nice, friendly staff. Great pool area. Room was a little too warm, and would not cool down to comfortable sleeping temperature. Thermostat was set down to 60 to try to cool it off, but it did not help. It was not hot, but not at temp set on thermostat.”

• Nice beds, full mirror.
• Stains on towels, bathtub too small.

“I have never been so shocked in my life before! I stepped out of the shower and was about to use the towel that was hanging there and as I opened it found a huge stain with hair. Is this even possible at a Marriott? They gave me a different room and oh yeah like everyone else said the beds are nice but Ill never touch a towel again without being hesitant.”

“This hotel is great for business travelers, however the free parking only has about 30 spots and it costs anywhere from $10 to $15 a day to park. Was not aware of this prior to booking. No free wireless in room.”

• It exceeded my expectations as far as friendliness and accommodations, and was better than the 4star hotel we stayed in afterwards.
• The concierge could've been more knowledgeable about the city. The seemed like they just immigrated here a few months ago.

“This was a bustling hotel with friendly, attentive staff, nice amenities, comfortable beds, and generous check in & check out times. It was very conveniently located and my boyfriend & I liked it 3 times better than the 4star hotel down the road that we already had a reservation at. I would love to stay here again on my next trip.”

• The bed.
• Everything was very acceptable.

“The customer service was outstanding as far as greeting us and they also gave us directions to be destination the night we arrived. The rooms were extremely well kept and very comfortable. All and all the room was a perfect beginning and ending for each day we were there.”

• Excellent lighting in hallways, in bathroom, in bed for reading, the parking garage, and the room in general.
• No place to hang face towels in bathroom.

“This hotel exceeded our expectations for a 3-star. The attention to detail was excellent. We felt safer in the parking garage than in any other hotel. It was extremely well-lit. The door from the garage into the hotel opened automatically, so there was no struggling with luggage and the door. There was a phone immediately inside the door to request help with your luggage. Plenty of towels were provided in the bathroom. The bathtub had safety treads and a safety bar for getting in and out. The shower head was very good. One of our pet peeves in hotels is the lack of good lighting. We were very pleasantly surprised that the lighting was so good for reading in bed and for putting makeup on at the desk. The hallways were wide and well-lit which added to the feeling of safety. There is an indoor pool, which is a year-round benefit. The pool extends to the outside. There is also a hot tub, plus a fitness facility which is larger than most. All in all, we were very pleased and would love to stay at this hotel again.”

• My king size bed was amazingly comfortable, with 6 big pillows.
• I couldn't find a food vending machine after getting back late one evening, but perhaps just did not look hard enough.

“We had a difficult time finding the hotel initially because we approached from the back of the hotel, but the Dallas U-turn lanes were a quick remedy to that. The doorman and front desk receptionist were very friendly and quick to help me with any questions or just opening the door. The lobby is inviting and well organized, and my room was very clean and comfortable. I would definitely visit again!”

• The staff at the front desk was more than courteous. They were actually interested in our well being while we were there.
• I was comfortable, but my husband complained a bit about the thermostat not being as cold as he wanted.

• The hotel was in the process of being remodeled and everything was new and looked great.
• AC didn't cool room enough.

“This Marriott was conveniently located about 10 minutes from the Galleria and several major freeways. Technically, it is almost in Addison. Very close to wonderful restaurants and shopping. The room was spacious and the bed had nice feather duvets and pillows. The hotel was being remodeled so everything looked fresh and modern. It had wireless Internet connection. There was no extra cost to park. I ordered room service for breakfast and it arrived on time and was a nice meal. There wasn't a hairdryer in the bathroom, but I suspect that it just hadn't been added yet. After all, they provided a nice big flat screen TV in the room, so I can't imagine not providing a hairdryer. The hotel must have good noise insulation because I really didn't hear the traffic outside.”

“We were placed in the noisiest room available right by the elevator and ice machine. They were glad to accommodate us when we asked to be moved but that was to a room near construction, so it was loud.”

“On my last visit to Dallas I stayed at the Dallas Marriot Quorum which turned out to be a phenomenal idea. I was there with my entire family and because of the great location of this hotel we all managed to do something that we liked. Some of us shopped at the galleria right next door, while others simple relaxed by the pool. The staff was incredible and made sure that each one of us was comfortable and satisfied with the services provided and gratefully they were successful.”

• I enjoyed the staff at the hotel, they were extremely gracious and remembered my mine and my wife's anniversary after we checked in.
• The only thing I did not like about the hotel was that the air conditioner did not work as well as we wanted.

“I thought the hotel was great. The hotel was truly nice and the staff was excelent. Upon arrival the person who checked us in asked if we had a special occasion. I told her it was our anniversary. Later that evening we were getting change at the front desk and she told us happy anniversary, she remembered something personal about us. The room was exceptionally clean, and very nice, we liked the view of the city.”

“The hotel was great, nice breakfast buffet. Bellman was exceptional, older gentleman with lots of class, very nice. Front desk female rather rude, however, everyone else made her attitude seem rather out of place. The air conditioning was not the greatest, must have been the location of the room. Lovely lobby with nice sitting area.”

• The air condition in the room stopped working in the middle of the night that is 2.00 am. To begin with it made loud noises which was disturbing
