• The pool and hot tub were nice and clean.
• Furnishings seemed outdated.

“It was a good experience, especially for the money. The room furnishings were a little outdated. My only problem was that we left our swim suits in the room. I would probably not stay here again after speaking with this representative.”

• I liked the breakfast buffet and the service.
• The towels were
  very hard and scratchy.

“Rooms are a bit small. Bed was VERY comfortable and the pillows were GREAT! I would have liked to have had a refrigerator and microwave as we were there 3 days. I would stay there again but some of the other hotels around the Plano area have larger rooms and more amenities for the same cost.”

• Beds were comfortable, spacious rooms, good food and workout facility, great location.
• Under the bed we found evidence that they hadn't cleaned thoroughly.

“I liked the hotel, they were very accommodating. Also the breakfast, although high priced, was delicious. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to all friends visiting the Plano area.”

• I was expecting two queen beds. Got one King.

• Large, comfortable room.
• Bathroom nook is tiny, really no counter space at all.

“Nice standard hotel. Large, comfortable beds. Free internet and coffee/juice bar in the common area 24/7. Bathroom sink nook is tiny. No room for almost anything to sit on counter around the sink. Overall though, a nice place for a reasonable price.”

• The quality I have come to expect from Marriott Courtyard.
• The rooms are a little small.

• Incompetent accountant.

“After my visit, the hotel posted 4 unknown charges which have been held for at least two days and they now tell me maybe 3-5 business more days prior to their removal. Makes no logical sense whatsoever and thus- I could not recommend this hotel although my stay was perfect.”

• The rooms were very spacious.
• I was raising the thermostat on the air conditioning by one degree and the heat came on!

“We stayed here three nights. We swam in the pool two of the three afternoons, and they had noodles out for use in the pool, which was great. We also appreciated the pink lemonade and water with orange slices available in the lobby. The rooms were more spacious than the only other courtyard we've stayed in. The man at the desk got a little turned around directing me to a Wells Fargo bank, but he put me in the neighborhood, and it was close enough. Our last night there, I went to adjust the thermostat up by one degree. The next morning, it was 79 degrees in our room (the thermostat was set at 73) and when they sent somebody up he very ungraciously told me I had turned on the heat! Overall our stay was great, and we would not hesitate to stay there again. I would just be sure to call the desk sooner in case the air conditioning wasn't functioning!”

• It was pretty clean.
• Lack of appropriate training for staff.

“Room was clean, but the thermostat was not at all accurate, the AC was loud, the bed was not comfortable and the staff was unable to accommodate a request such as "I would like a room with TWO beds, please".”

• This hotel was neat, clean had a good location and seemed new.
• The desk clerk was confused about my bill and confused me even more.

“I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Everything was as good, if not better than expected. The hotel was neat, clean, new, great beds, nice layout, nice pool. Everything was great! Except for the desk clerk on check-out, he was confused and gave me a bill. I called later and a manager apologized and had the charge removed.”

• Trash in night stand drawers. Even second day they didn't remove it. Lots of trash.

• Nothing, they ran out of rooms and put us up at a terrible hotel.
• They didn't have rooms when I showed up with my prepaid reservation.

“When we showed up to check in, they informed us that the hotel had been overbooked. They put us up at a hotel that was clearly inferior, probably the worst hotel Ive ever stayed in. I was afraid to walk on the carpet without shoes.”

• A/C knobs were broken off and we didn't have air conditioning all night.

• I would have liked hot chocolate for breakfast, but it is not their fault.

“Medium size pool, 6-person hot-water out-door but covered jacuzzi, exercise room with enough equipment, quiet suburban neighborhood, free and easy to use internet cable connection (if you bring your laptop), clean rooms, laundry room, vending machines, acceptable restaurant at an accessible price, friendly people (one of them can improve), quick access by tollway.A parent with babies would like a refrigerator to keep milk handy in the morning (there are ice machines) and a microwave to warm up a baby-bottle, but I could handled it satisfactorily.”

“The hotel was being remodeled and so carpet was pulled up in the halls, etc....however, that did not interfere with the friendly staff, quality of room, etc. It just looked somewhat in disaray.....but progress must be made.....It was fine.....We had to pay more for a 2 1/2 than usual, but it could have been because of the week-end having so much going on in Dallas.”
