- The living room area is separated from sleeping area. Two LCD TVs in room.
- There are no coke machines because they have a pre pay snack area.

“I stayed at the same hotel a week ago, and the room was better the first time. this time, the bed was not made up very well. when i first turned on the shower, dark brown water flowed from the shower for about five seconds. Also, the bathroom floor did not seem as clean.”

- The comfort of the room and the layout of the space.
“I was very pleased and surprised with the room. I lease a space to a fine import linen store in my area and use imported linens for both bed and bath in my home. I also use high quality pillows on my beds as I usually carry my own when I travel. Having left for this trip in a hurry I forgot them and usually do not sleep well but was most pleased that the pillows at the hotel were perfect and I slept well and got up rested for my busy work day.”

- The restaurant staff was rude and couldn't
find someone over priced & over cooked.
“Overall, I liked the hotel,
the food at the restaurant was the worse I have ever had. Got a baked potato and it was still raw sent it back and got a steamed potato. If
I wanted a steamed potato
I would have gotten mashed potatoes. Waitress thought it was funny. And the lack of notice ability by the wait staff was unreal.”

“Easy walking to the World Trade Center. The rooms were recently remodeled, but they really missed the mark. The overall service was not good. They were not busy, but wait staff would disappear for a long period of time. It seemed that people were not well trained. Employees there who were shining stars and they made things better. Seems to be a definite lack of on hand management.”

“I was disappointed with my stay. Upon arrival, the clerk told me that the entire hotel was non-smoking. Then I found out I had to pay $8 a night during my stay to park my car at the hotel. I was also disappointed to find out the hotel was under construction, and the pool, hot tub, courtyard, and bar were unavailable. All in all I would not go back to Sheraton Suites for the shoddy, unhelpful service, and the quality of the rooms which were missing a lot of furniture and other items due to their revamp.”

- Everything was outstanding - except this was the first time ever, that I was hit with a Parking fee for out door unprotected parking. :-(.

- Nicely appointed renovated rooms.
- Had to pay for Internet and Parking.
“The rooms here are beautiful. The bedroom is a bit small, but nothing you couldn't handle. The hotel is finishing a $10 million renovation and should be done by the end of September or October of 2008. All rooms sans artwork, a few end-tables and lamps are finished. The remaining items should come in soon, but they are not required to enjoy your stay there. Pool is nice, hot-tub is being re-surfaced as of this writing. Everyone was so friendly and asked about how your stay was going. That means a lot. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to stay in the area. Its very nice.”

- Staff was helpful and provided us with storage for the furniture we bought.
- Housekeeping did not clean the shower once during the entire week.
“Rooms were nice and newly renovated. The beds were super comfortable. It had a small balcony. There were new flat screen TVs. They do charge for internet access and parking by the day. Great hotel at the edge of the market and design district with lots of antique shopping nearby. Lots of restaurants within a short distance.”

- Linen was dirty, no one a came to replace them, dirty wash cloth in shower.
“When I went to lay in bed realized it was spotted in several places, called front desk around 7 pm and they said they'd take care of it. No one ever came, around 10 pm I went to front desk and gentlemen said no one was there that could take care of it, he could have some linen delivered and I could change them myself. Then when went to take shower, one of the three wash cloths in the bathroom was used and hanging over the shower. When talked to manager/desk clerk, all they did was brought towels up and took off $8 parking charge.”

- Convenient location close to downtown Dallas either by local streets or highway 35E.
- Wireless internet was free for a couple of days and then changed to Wayport (wired and wireless) which was not free.
“The new decor chosen for the Sheraton's recent renovations was very tasteful and upscale. The beds/pillows were specially nice. The equipment in the new fitness center was state of the art and the pool fabulous (especially for a Dallas summer), but the location and easy access to downtown was a great asset. Highly recommend this hotel.”

“I usually love the Sheraton Suites. This is the only time they had to comp our meal (Terrible, out of everything, chicken spoiled). Never left bath towels, wash clothes and hand towels. I had to call every night to get them. Stayed a week and the sheets were not changed until I called them. This again was the 1st time this has ever happened with this hotel.”

“On check in there was no mention of parking fee for using their lot(free parking available across the street). At check out they wanted $8.00 per night for parking. After some discussion they agreed to erase the parking fee. It was very nice hotel with a very convenient location. The room needed better lighting.”

- The room was spacious, the bed was AWESOME and the staff was so very kind and helpful.
- Not really something I didn't like, but more of recommendation: free Wi-Fi. There's really no reason not to offer free internet.
“I was quite impressed with the Sheraton Suites. Beautiful lobby, awesome staff. The hotel was undergoing some cosmetic upgrades, so there were some unattractive areas, but it did not detract from enjoying my stay. I would be more than happy to recommend it to friends and I look forward to staying there again. Thank you.”

- I asked for 2 double beds I was given king with pull out couch.
“Almost all the floors were being renovated. When we arrived and saw we had a king bed and pull out couch, we immediately went to the desk to request a change. The staff at the desk just said "Sorry, we don't have any other rooms. We can't switch you until tomorrow" The next am I went to desk and again was told they had no other room, even after I told them my 14 yr old slept on the floor.”

- Some of the staff is friendly.
- The hotel isn't very clean.
“As a Sheraton this hotel was most disappointing. Initially, we were erroneously assigned a smoker's room. After complaining we were given a less than clean room on the 5th floor. The cleaning staff takes no pride in the quality of their work. The dirty tub and bathroom sink were barely touched. When brought to staff's attention the maid began "cleaning" them with a dry face towel. The hotel nickel and dimes you to death.”

- Great location. Convenient to downtown and other areas of the city.
- Very small suites. No room in the bedroom. Very old TVs.
“Really nice hotel and great location. Very clean lobby and friendly staff. The hotel exterior and the rooms could use an upgrade. The rooms were very nice and presentable, just slightly outdated rugs and TVs. Nonetheless, the overall stay was pleasant and comfortable.”

- Location, right on I35 where we were going South.
- Needed cleaning and upgrading.
“Location was great for our purposes, but was time for upgrading; door lock didn't work although secondary did work. Spots on carpet, non smoking room with cigarette burns on the rim of sink, sloppily applied caulking in shower.”

- It was very convenient to the location we were visiting.
- The hotel was being remodeled, and we did not have a new room.
“The hotel was under renovation. Hammering, pounding, and other loud noises were audible during daylight hours. The fire alarm went off a few times for 10 minutes or so. Otherwise, the staff were friendly and understanding.”

- Very spacious suite, well appointed.
- Room was not ready when I arrived, had to wait 30 minutes in the lobby.
“The hotel is very convenient to the Dallas Market Center. It has very helpful staff and spacious, comfortable suites.”

- The roominess of the room.
- The room was showing age. Peeling wallpaper and rusty tub.
“The staff was super friendly when I checked in. The room was just charming. I wished I had more time to spend in it. It just needs some sprucing up.”
