• I have never paid to park at a hotel that I am staying at!

“The hotel is beautiful. However, as a business traveler, I always try to keep expenses to a minimum. $15.00 a night charge to park our car. I have traveled for 18 years and never paid to park. We were not told of this charge. We checked in at 11:30 PM and the clerk simply handed us a slip of paper and told us to keep it on our dashboard so we could park our car overnight. It is posted that there is a charge to park but; however it did not say that it also applied to guests who were already paying to stay at the hotel! We did not know until we checked out that there was a charge. As I said before, as a business person, cost is a very important factor in the decision of where to stay and the extra $15.00 a night just to park my car is not acceptable. I will not stay at this hotel ever again. I understand that there is a disclaimer about extra charges being incurred; but I felt this was out of line and deceptive.”

• Nothing - all was great.

“This is a convention hotel, and it was fairly quiet when we were there. Not sure what it would be like when crazy busy. Can't say enough good things. Beautiful decor, comfortable room, convenient location. We were on the 21st floor and the view of Downtown Dallas was beautiful!”

• Beautiful; wonderful staff.
• Noisy at night; room smelled like strong deodorizer; couldn't sleep.

“This hotel is spectacular in every way except the rooms were overlooking the atrium carried all the midnight to 2 am noise right into the room. There was a strong deodorizer in the air that gave us a headache and chest pain. So although it was a great hotel, it was not a good fit for us.”

• It was a beautiful atmosphere and the service was superb!
• The air conditioner in our room was broken. We had to call about it two times.

“It was an awesome place to stay except for the air conditioner going out. These things happen everywhere. It was one of the cleanest places that I have stayed in America. I travel on a biweekly basis!”

• Nice Decor.
• Lousy Air Conditioning, Poor Televisions and channel choices, No Fans to borrow to help with lousy air, No free parking.

“At one time the Anatole used to be a top notch 4 star choice in Dallas even being a super large hotel. It was disappointing to see that the recent renovation before being sold to Hilton really did not upgrade the room amenities to more modern standards like flat screens etc.”

• Loved the shopping boutiques.
• Pool closed too early.

“Loved the gentleman checking us in.he was very professional! Loved the Valet option. Loved rom service. Loved the view of the room. Did not like that when my husband and I came in late one evening after being out to dinner, we wanted to relax in the hot tub---it was closed. That was on thing we were very much wanting to experience, we were very tired and needed it badly! It was a disappointment. But I would like to come back again.”

• Wonderfully understaffed front desk. AC was not cool enough.

“Enormous hotel in a very convenient location unfortunately marred by, at times, extremely slow internet (even though it's hardwired - not wireless - in the room), inability to cool room significantly, air vents/thin walls permitted conversations from other guest rooms to echo discernibly into mine and the front-desk, though quite friendly, was very understaffed for a hotel of this caliber within an hour of check-out time.”

• Nice Beds. Kept clean. Nice well furnished refrigerator.
• Parking, This Hilton bills the guest an additional $15.00 per day while the Hilton Garden Inn next door does not.

“Staying here is usually not consistent. An upscale room here adds amenities like mouthwash, body wash, whereas the regular room gets shampoo, conditioner and lotion.”

• The decor.
• No wireless.

“Hotel facilities were nice overall. Though room itself was comfortable, there was no window. That was a little claustrophobic. Would have liked a wireless internet connection. If I needed to, I could stay there again.”

• Not worrying about paying for meals, drinks, or tips. Loved the easy-going culture.
• The restaurant quality was not as great as expected. Would have loved free room service.

“Sandals Regency was absolutely wonderful. The staff on the resort was incredibly warm and accommodating. Some staff members seemed jaded and disinterested, and the food at the restaurants was often hit or miss, but overall the experience was sublime. The location, local attractions and excursions were all amazing.”

• Love your lobbies, garden, swimming pool, the gossip bar, art displays. over all, amazing hotel.
• I hated your TV sets. For this luxury hotel, you should have HD flat screens or plasma. TV did not fit with decor. need newer brands.

“My overall experience was great! Food was fantastic especially your Mexican restaurant "La Esquina" I had beef fajitas for dinner and let me tell you, they where amazing!”

“This hotel has lots of robots working at the front desk who would rather go by the book/computer than try to help a guest solve a problem. Front management needs to find some client friendly staff, and they need more of them. Lines for check and out are not friendly! Air conditioning in all the rooms is woefully inadequate for the Texas heat!”

“The hotel is large, but very comfortable, with high-end design (Thai influence). Didn't eat at the restaurants. Location in the city was very convenient, although there is nowhere for visitors to park inexpensively ($7 for 1-4 hours).”

• It was a very nice hotel and very appealing.
• There were no parking areas that they did not charge for. We should have been able to park in the parking lots, away from the hotel w/out having to park area.

• Quite a pleasant surprise, very comfortable setting with a touch of exotic luxury.
• Fee for parking with no option to park anywhere close by.

“The Hilton Anatole is a huge hotel but by no means does it feel like a big empty space. Their staff has a clear definition of friendly service is all about? The room is immaculate, the king bed and the sofa are so welcoming and once you lay on them their comfort level is majestic. My expectations for this hotel were greatly surpassed and I will more than likely make this my default hotel every time I am in Dallas.”

• The prices for the mini-bar and room service were a bit steep.

“I asked for a King bed for my wife, 9mo son and I and we got what I believe was a full Queen Murphy bed. Our room looked like a conference room with two other room attached (nicer I am sure). The Murphy bed was meant to hide away to allow for business meeting in the room. I did not expect this from a 4 star hotel. Everything else about the hotel was definitely 4 star.”

• Grand open spaces and impressive atriums.
• There's nothing not to like.

“Truly a wonderful hotel with great common areas and nice gardens, even with a piece of the Berlin Wall - very cool. Asian themes throughout and spectacular rooms. You couldn't possibly be disappointed, unless the property is hosting a noisy convention weekend or something. I was very impressed and highly recommend this Hilton.”

• The coffee in the room was not complimentary. A little "cheap" considering they charge $15.00 a night for parking.

• Beautiful resort. The grounds were immaculate and the amenities were unparallel.
• Poor sleeping experience. A youth group was present and made noise all throughout the night.

“Several complaints about an otherwise lovely hotel: 1. Paper thin walls. We could hear the elevator bell incessantly throughout the night which was very disruptive. We were not even near the elevators. 2. Parking rules were not explained at check in. We were asked to present a parking voucher when we departed the parking lot but were not given a voucher at check in. 3. The youth group was out of control. Very noisy and disruptive throughout the night. We asked them to 'quiet down' but to no avail. We opted not to call management-just slept fitfully.”

• Rooms with no outside view & very noisy.

“The room itself was very nice, lots of space and well-designed. Too many interior rooms, with no outside view. Hotel was full with a conference with lots of children and the elevators did not handle the crowds well. There is an original building and a tower. Both buildings have registration desks and there is no way to know if you are in the right place until you wait to check in, then are told to go over to the other building. We did not use any of the restaurants or other facilities, since they were too crowded. The attitude of the staff makes this seem like less than a "four-star" hotel.”

“Hotel was clean, extensive grounds that were beautifully kept. Outdoor pool was closed/not well maintained. Hotel staff was very helpful. Indoor pool was nice. Mini bar charges you automatically.”

• Having to pay $15 to park was not good.

“This was a great place to stay and the staff was friendly. We had a clean comfy room, but should have asked to be away from the elevator "beep, beep". It would be nice if the door was more sound proof. A hotel like this should have a refrigerator for the guests and a microwave in each room. The pools looked inviting, but we didn't get a chance to take advantage of them.”

• The atmosphere and locale.
• The room had several flaws: broken shower head, thin walls, and drainage noises.

“This is a really nice hotel, but not flawless. For a 4 star, it should have been better. Pros: Located right off interstate, beautiful grounds, grand lobbies, glass ceiling atrium adds loads of atmosphere, room was clean and nicely decorated. Cons: Parking lots needed leaves swept (this is winter, not fall), broken shower head, thin walls and doors, drainage noise when running shower and sink, self-parking is $15 when the next door Sheraton has free parking.”
