• The staff is friendly and courteous. The rooms are very spacious with a flat screen TV and sectional couch.
• There is no inside pool.

• Loved the room with the large sofa and semiprivate bed area. Loved the 24 hr. Starbucks in lobby.
• It was not easy to get to parking lot from the interstate.

“The Hyatt Place was excellent. I had never stayed in one and was impressed. One part of the room had a very large sectional corner sofa and the desk/wet bar was across the room. Very large flat screen
TV that could be turned to face the back or the front of the room. For the price I paid, it was an excellent value. I intend to always look for a Hyatt Place in my future travels.”

• The staff was excellent, the room exceeded expectation, was an overall lovely stay.
• The only complaint would be that the breakfast service was crowded and we found it hard to find a place to sit and enjoy our meal together as a family.

“The moment that we walked into the hotel we were greeted and kindly helped through the check-in process. We were given a tour of the facility and amenities that were offered. Our room was very welcoming, bright, and clean. It also included a 72 inch flat screen TV with plenty of viewing options and the ability to hook-up our own electronics. We stayed in a King room, and loved the division between the sleeping and sitting areas. Our children slept on the pull-out sofa and were quite comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly towards our children and they really enjoyed their first hotel experience. The room and service were so great that we decided to extend our stay an additional night!”

• The huge flat screen TV.
• The food(eggs/omelets, sandwiches) were way too expensive and didn't really taste that great.

“Staff was very friendly, I liked that they have a computer kiosk where you can check in/check out if you don't want to do that at the desk. The rooms were clean, and very modern decorating, not your typical decor, which was a nice change. Would have preferred the pool to have a baby pool, or zero depth entry rather than just a small set of steps since children tend to hang out on the steps and makes it hard for others to get in and out of the pool.”

• I was very impressed with the renovated room's comfort and style.
• I enjoyed everything about my stay.

“The hotel was very convenient to the attractions that I was looking to visit. The room was comfortable and big. The living area was separated from the sleeping area. The bathroom is separated from the vanity which I liked because there were two of us getting ready. I was very pleased with every part of my stay.”

• There was plenty of room in the hotel room for my children to have their own sleeping space.
• The room did not have a microwave and the continental breakfast did not have as much variety as other hotels I've stayed at.

“Overall it was a lovely and comforting experience. There was a problem with my credit card being charged unnecessarily but I've been told that it will be credited back tomorrow. My children loved the pool and it was private and relaxing. They also loved the fitness room. The beds were comfortable and it was a spacious room.”

• I was very impressed.
• They only had three luggage dollies. I had to make two trips to the car because I was impatient.

“This hotel was awesome. It was clean, very nice and very comfortable. The room set up was very nice. I was down for my sister's wedding and we used this hotel as an in between spot. It was around the corner from the church and the reception. The target down the road was very convenient as well. For this weekend at least, it was the perfect hotel. I just cannot say how pleased I was.”

• Traffic noise was horrible, windy night caused bathroom fan to be noisy, no-smoking room smelled like smoke, small coffee pot in room.

• Tried to order a movie and it wasn't coming through clear.

“Free breakfast with bagels, English muffins, and cereal, and fruit. Free cable with HBO, also order movies that are still in theaters. Starbucks coffee, huge beds, friendly staff.”

• Room arrangement with separate area for couch; 42" TV.
• Sofa sheet was stained (Coke) but was replaced; phone wasn't plugged in properly.

“The Hyatt was very different from other places we've stayed. It had a modern decor and great room arrangement. The pull-out couch and desk area had slight room divider from king bed. Yet, both areas could easily see the big 42" TV. In the kitchen area, they used real plates and silverware.”

• Food menu could have had more options.

“Overall it was a great hotel that was very comfortable and affordable. There are only 2 things I can think of that I could consider negative was the fact that the menu was very limited and didn't notice a way to call room service from the room. Ordering is done through touch screen computers in the lobby. The other thing is minor, but it was a small surprise when it came time to check out in the morning. The clock in the room was off and I almost missed check out.”

• I loved the staff and the room it was a modern room with a romantic feel.
• There continental breakfast was slim and the shower area was small.

• It was a family friendly hotel. It was very close to the movies & shopping. It was easy to get to.
• The pool area could have been a lot nicer. It was very generic.

“Our stay at this hotel was very nice. The rooms were a very nice size for a family of 5 and they were very clean. The room service was very prompt. The price was excellent! The location was perfect. Easy to get too and right by the movie theater, shopping, and nice restaurants. The only flaw is the generic pool area. It needs to be dressed up to go along with the rest of the hotel.”

“I was please with the hotel and service. I appreciate the service. I was going to be in town this week and wanted to stay at the same hotel. A great hotel stay and poor follow up on the managers part.”

• It was attractive, clean, lots of space in the room, and staff was pleasant and helpful.
• We didn't have any problems with anything at the hotel.

“Our stay at Hyatt Place was very pleasant. Our room was quiet even though we were near the elevators. The room had a nice arrangement for two--sleeping and work area. The room temperature was easy to control. Everything was clean. I'll look for Hyatt in the future.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel was very quiet; the bed was comfortable, huge TV screen visible throughout the room, mini fridge, and nice snack bar downstairs, right next door to a grocery store if you need more. I really enjoyed my stay.”

• The room was very large, comfortable, and had electronic compatibility.
• No Jacuzzi, paid for hot breakfast was just so-so, free continental was good though.

“I only paid 45 dollars for a room that was worth around 200 dollars. It was their normal room, but equaled or exceeded anything at Embassy Suites or other similar hotels. Very convenient 24 hour food/beverage service in the lobby or room service. Nice, small treadmill gym. Outside pool which can't be used on a cold or rainy day, unless you like cold water. Brand new, upscale fixtures, 42in. flat panel TV, cordless phone, fridge, large desk, large couch, comfortable king sized bed, and best of all; check out time is still at 12 noon, while other hotels are moving their check outs earlier and earlier. It's located on the North Dallas toll road, which makes getting around very convenient, but pricey, so bring quarters.”

“This hotel is great. It suits our needs when wear in Plano. Unfortunately our car and two others were broken into in the parking lot. The hotel was helpful in calling the police. I don't blame the hotel. It could have happened anywhere.”

• "Heated" pool outside was not ready for use.

“This is a very nice hotel with easy access to three of the largest malls in DFW. There are also a number of restaurants in the area, from inexpensive to exclusive. The hotel has almost the feel of a European suite. With bedroom, bar, and sofas to lounge on, while enjoying the game on a 48" plasma.”
