“Newly renovated; but, not a "green" establishment. Too much electricity used. Entire building illuminated at night. Every lamp, ceiling fixture, and wall sconce turned on by housekeeping everyday. I had to ask for the lights to be left off. Air conditioning lowered to 65 degrees by housekeeping staff. I had to ask to leave ac set to 72 degrees. No system for re-using towels; new towels everyday.” May 1, 2008 by
Stacie from Killeen, TX
“My daughter and I stayed at the Holiday Inn while in Dallas for a concert event. She and I felt safe and comfortable. The room was clean, quiet and nicely decorated. It had a pivoting LG flat screen, good linens, and fantastic water pressure/temperature. Even the complimentary coffee was of good quality. Even though the hotel was close to a rail line, the solid construction and our location within the building kept us from being disturbed by any passing trains. This hotel also has a zero-tolerance 100% no smoking policy - smoking in your room will cost you $250, something to keep in mind if you are a smoker.” Apr 30, 2008 by
Brian from Ozark, MO
“The hotel and staff were great. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others staying in the Market Center area.” Apr 28, 2008 by

“The hotel was nice in presentation when u first walk in. The desk clerks are very informative and friendly. The restaurant was very nice and clean. Only bad thing was all the road construction going on around it.” Apr 17, 2008 by
Jack from Canton, TX
“The staff was very polite & courteous & handled dilemmas with ease, The facilities were rather small room) & the hot water was space, other than that, I'd recommend the hotel.” Apr 17, 2008 by
Ron from Atlanta, TX
“Front desk on check in friendly and helpful, Friday night burger burned, could not eat told cashier, her response, so what here is your ticket! $9.00 and some change for this burger that was thrown in trash. told desk manager on check out, he smiled, laughed and charged my card for burger. no one even offered to credit me or prepare another. Meat was burned on both sides I would never eat at this hotel again. Room and other services great.” Apr 16, 2008 by
Gabrielle from Galliano, LA
“The beds were very comfortable, but the mattresses were too deep for the sheets, which kept coming off the bed at the corners. Wireless internet wasn't working over 1/2 the time we were there. Staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean.” Apr 14, 2008 by
Melissa from Fayetteville, AR
“Construction made driving difficult. Staff never informed me I had a UPS box waiting. Room service took so long they camped my breakfast.” Apr 9, 2008 by
Larry B. from Texarkana, TX
“Very nicely renovated hotel. The staff was excellent. The full service restaurant and bar was convenient.” Mar 28, 2008 by
Doug from Wichita Falls, TX
“This was a great hotel to stay at for an affordable price. The staff was kind and courteous. The rooms were immaculately clean. The location was pretty good. The only down side was that the wireless internet was down while I was there. However, they had computers in the lobby for guests to use. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with my experience. I would recommend to a friend.” Mar 26, 2008 by
Kristi from Tenaha, TX
“We really enjoyed this hotel. We stayed here so that we could go to Medieval Times. It was close and very easy to get to. We would have enjoyed having a continental breakfast. Their breakfast was rather steep for a large family like mine. We were also hoping for a hotel with an indoor pool. The rooms were spacious and very clean. We had a nice time.” Mar 24, 2008 by
Wende from Oklahoma City, OK
“This hotel was very nice. The rooms were great and the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The only complaint would be that there was always room service items lying outside rooms, a glass was left outside the door to the room next to ours for over 24 hours without being picked up. That is the only complaint!” Mar 18, 2008 by
Renee from Elgin, TX
“Very clean rooms and very friendly safe. Felt safe parking my car. Hotel was very comfortable and I enjoyed my stay.” Mar 18, 2008 by
Dr T. from San Antonio, TX
“I had called in advance to ask for a room near the elevator and that I would be traveling with my slightly handy cap mother and they had selected a wonderful location as well as they added a bathroom that was easy for my mother to care for herself. The counter personnel was so kind and helpful in all areas. I loved this hotel. The tran got to me the first night but after that you did not even hear it.” Mar 17, 2008 by
Dan from Indian Head Park, IL
“Not in good location. High crime area directly behind the hotel. Called front desk at 4am on checkout morning, and no answer. When departing, noted 2 girls sitting at desk chatting. Not good.” Mar 16, 2008 by
James from Columbus, MS
“Reasonable for a 3-star rating. Friendly staff, good proximity to Love Field and downtown. Also, the parking is free.” Mar 14, 2008 by

“The hotel was a great price for the amenities that I received. Location was close to freeway access and quiet. There is a great little breakfast place right across the street. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.” Mar 12, 2008 by
Brian from Wiota, IA
“I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, friendly service and updated look of the hotel. Was close to Dallas-Love but not on a flight path.” Mar 6, 2008 by
Barry from Tomball, TX
“First of all, I loved this place. I stayed here as a Day's Inn years ago and it was nasty. I could not believe how well this place was transformed. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were nice. The 32 inch flat screen TV's were nice. New carpeting and granite tiling in rooms. The wireless Internet did not work, but the wired did. Make sure you bring a CAT 5 cable to hook up to your computer, the hotel did not have any when they told me the wired access was available when I attempted to connect wireless. Luckily I had my own cable. The hotel has been completely refurbished. I was very impressed. The staff was friendly, down to the head housekeeper and wait staff. Everyone there does a good job of making sure you are happy. If there could be negatives and I am being picky here, I would say the restaurant was pretty slow for service. They have one person there taking orders for the restaurant and room service. So if that person is away on room service, you might have to wait to be serviced but the food was great no complaints. I also thought the mirror was low in the bathroom but I am a tall person too. I would very definitely stay there again. I was skeptical since I thought Holiday Inn was not as quality of a brand as Marriott or Radisson, etc. But I was very surprised by how nice everything was. BTW, try the Market Inn Diner next door. It is good food and only open for breakfast and lunch. Do not let the looks of the place turn you away. Its one of these places that are sort of a whole in the wall but don't be surprised you find some celebrities there. Great food and even better service. Everything is made to order when you walk in. You see a wide variety of people there, its very enjoyable.” Mar 3, 2008 by
Jill from Nacogdoches, TX
“Hotel was newly renovated. Clean and attractive. Convenient location to market. Sheets didn't fit the bed, so were sliding off exposing mattress all night long. That was irritating.” Mar 3, 2008 by
Rayne from Franklin, TX
“Easy in and out of. Very clean and towels were wonderful.” Mar 3, 2008 by
Anita from Overland Park, KS
“I was pleasantly surprised with the decor and little extras at this hotel. Holiday Inn, in my mind, has not been an upscale brand but, this hotel was excellent. Perfect for a business trip and a woman traveling solo.” Mar 2, 2008 by
Dana from Canyon, TX
“Nice hotel Was very pleased with the overall experience. Staff went above and beyond expectations including a welcome from the manager and a courtesy call to our room to make sure we were pleased. Getting to the hotel is a bit cumbersome, but then again, so is the whole area. All in all, one of the best Holiday Inns around!” Feb 26, 2008 by
Danny from Nacogdoches, TX
“The hotel was very clean (lobbies and rooms) and comfortable. The only issue we had was that the breakfast buffet they offer in the morning looks like a continental breakfast but is not. Some of the people in our group went down there thinking it was free and were then charged $11 for the meal. But other than that we had no problems and our stay was great.” Feb 26, 2008 by
Georgiana from West Monroe, LA
“Very nice and comfortable.” Feb 26, 2008 by
Toby from Claremore, OK

“The hotel is 10 minutes from Dallas Love field. The king size bed was comfortable & LCD TV was a nice touch. Wireless Internet was available & business center for use was available.” Feb 21, 2008 by
Janie from New Braunfels, TX
“We were greeted by a very friendly desk clerk and told our room was not ready - we were early. After a lunch next door, we went back and were checked in. They also have a great breakfast next door at the market diner. Most annoying was the loud fan on the heater and we could hear the one next door too. There is much street construction in the area, so we were glad to be there on a weekend when it was quiet. There is a train which goes right by the hotel and blows the whistle at night, so be sure to ask for a room on the backside vs. The street/tracks. Our room wasn't cleaned as good as it could have been, but the hotel was full - so we allowed for that. TV reception was good bathroom was tiny, tiny but worked. It's an old hotel and was a day's Inn before Holiday Inn's took over management. Renovated very nicely though with loads of feather pillows and a nice firm mattress. Getting stuck in the elevator was a no-no for sure and we mentioned it to the manager upon checkout. We never saw one person in the restaurant and very few in the hotel lobby bar even though we were there for two nights. We never ate in the hotel - too many excellent restaurants in Dallas, but did visit the bar for a glass of $8.00 wine one evening.” Feb 21, 2008 by
Vicki from Oklahoma City, OK
“It was an excellent stay. My only neg was the bathroom looked old and had been stuccoed and painted over sloppily. Staff couldn't have been nicer and bar/rest was great!” Feb 20, 2008 by
Mart from Mount Pleasant, TX
“I was pleased, and the people were very nice. I booked on very short notice also.” Feb 20, 2008 by
Tonya from Mabank, TX
“I loved just about everything about this hotel. It was in a perfect location for where we needed to be. It was very comfy. The hotel staff was excellent to meet our needs. The wireless internet only worked half of the time and there was road construction going on along the road however with the comfort of the bed and pillows I slept like a baby. I was very impressed with the layout of the room and the flat screen HDTV was an awesome added touch. Overall, I deeply enjoyed our stay and I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone.” Feb 19, 2008 by
Brenda H. from Houston, TX
“Good experience. Rooms little dowdy due to the old stuff left when remodeled but rooms clean and beds comfortable and people nice.” Feb 19, 2008 by
Br from Lubbock, TX
“Met my expectations and more, by far the best hotel I've stayed in.” Feb 18, 2008 by
Kristi from Coweta, OK
“Overall, this was a nice place to stay. Not the very best part of town but we did not feel unsafe. The staff was great. They went out of there way to be helpful, printing off directions for us to places we were planning to visit. They also offer free shuttle within 5 miles which was great.” Feb 17, 2008 by
Mike from Austin, TX
“Wonderful facility just completely remodeled. Hotel management needs to do quality control. Many bugs left after remodeling. Had to be moved 3 times due to major problems with room (no AC/Heat, no TV). The Manager did put me in a suite as an apology after the second move, which was really great CS.” Feb 12, 2008 by
Michael from Tulsa, OK
“Our overall experience at our Hotel was outstanding. Staffing was first-rate. It was easily accessed & close to the area of town we spent our time in.” Feb 9, 2008 by
Katie from Lubbock, TX
“Nice overall. Some kinks as it is a new hotel, but overall it was a nice new facility and the staff was energetic. Professionalism wasn't quite up there, and the business copy center was a nightmare, but it was a nice hotel and I realize they are working hard to make it nice since it is brand new.” Feb 9, 2008 by
Corissa from Houston, TX
“The hotel is in a sketchy area and usually has questionable people milling about. The security guards were attempting to send away a lady of the evening when I arrived with my 4 yr old daughter. This place is definitely NOT 3 star worthy. I would give it a 2 star rating at best. The only thing that has changed since it turned into a Holiday Inn is the bed. Still stinky, still unsafe, still a bad choice. The Sheraton Inn and Suites is miles above this place, but somehow star rated the same. It needs to be demoted.” Feb 5, 2008 by
Bryan from Wichita Falls, TX
“The hotel was very clean, well maintained and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Check in, management and dining staff were all very friendly and provided us with everything we needed.” Feb 4, 2008 by
Les from Fort Worth, TX
“Very surprising for the hotel. I would give it another opportunity to see if they are at the same level of performance again.” Jan 30, 2008 by
Daniel from Bakersville, NC
“The hotel was neat, clean and in a good location. The staff was friendly and did try to help us in any way possible. The problems were that many parts and systems in the hotel were disorganized and my toilet exploded soaking my clothing and that of my family.” Hotel Representatives:
