• Staff was very helpful.
• Pool was not heated, no bar in pool area.

“Beautiful hotel, great staff, the front desk was always very friendly and helpful. Great work out facilities, good sauna, good jacuzzi, swimming pool nice looking and long, but water was freezing, they did not turn on the heater. Room was incredible as you would expect on a Westin.”

• The rooms, restaurants, swimming pool, and staff were fabulous!
• Adult breakfast buffet pricey and carpet in room dirty.

“Outstanding facilities and awesome staff. Check in and out was a breeze. The beds in the room were very comfortable. The flat screen TV was great but the channel choices were a bit limited. The showers with the double headed sprayers were a dream, as were the thick and luxurious towels. The air conditioning system was unbelievable. The refrigerator was a great convenience. Combined with the first class workout facilities, enormous pool with the water slide, pool side café, wonderful restaurants and bar, this hotel is a first class operation all the way.”

• Best shower in any hotel ever!
• Too outdated, 1980 decor.

“We spend our anniversary there this time. The hotel did not meet our expectations. It was very outdated. There were no signs and things were hard to find. The only food was in the bar. Food was very good. Bed was great and shower was the best ever. We would not stay there again until it has been updated.”

“This trip was an anniversary getaway weekend. Normally, I set expectations high and find myself disappointed. At this resort, everything was perfect. We requested a late check out so we could enjoy the pool and we loved relaxing and enjoying our lunch poolside. I would highly recommend this Westin!”

• They had children activities and children's menu with great prices.
• Couldn't find anything wrong.

“The staff was friendly and very pleasant to deal with. They had great menus for adult and children alike. They prices were very reasonable especially for the children. The pool was the highlight for my grandchildren and me alike. Beautiful pool which allowed the kids to play, you could see them but the way the pool is designed (like a lagoon) they were not all in your face. It was wonderful. The kids cannot wait to do it again. I will go there again it I get the opportunity and I have already shared our experience with numerous friends.”

• The beauty and luxury of the grounds.

“You definitely will not forget that this is a true "resort" during our stay. Perhaps the isolation of its location is a factor to consider; about 30-45 minutes from Downtown, but absolutely not far from fantastic restaurants and shopping (make sure you check out the Shops at Legacy and Isabella's Italian Restaurant [slightly hidden in the adjoining shopping area]). If you need anything, don't hesitate to call up to the front desk, which is amazingly helpful. They even worked it out so that the hotel's restaurant opened a full hour in advance for us! We had the entire dining room and staff at our service! As for the room itself; the level of comfort ability is quite excellent! It was hard to leave our room long enough to really do any sightseeing! They aren't kidding about the luxury of their beds. The room was impeccable, and I wasn't worried at all about the cleanliness of any part of the resort. This chain has, without a doubt, won me over!”

• We like the atmosphere and location to great shopping which was the purpose of our trip.
• The bathroom sink was a little small for two people.

“I would say the Westin hotel is wonderful place if you trying to have that romantic getaway with your special someone and if that isn't the case then it's also great for golfing and has a lot of restaurants in the area to choose from.”

• The bed was appropriately called "The Heavenly Bed" and the room was great. Concierge very helpful & staff polite.
• Loved everything. Nothing bad to say!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, the room was immaculate, and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in! The amenities are great, and we can't wait to go back and stay again.”

• A very nicely appointed room, a class act all the way. The staff was very helpful and welcoming.
• Valet parking seemed to be the only option and if you choose to park yourself you end up in the north forty.

“Overall an outstanding experience one that exceeded most of my expectations. The one exception that reflected badly on the resort involved one of the porters or doormen. My wife and I elected to park our own car and since we only had a few things for an overnight stay we carried what we needed. Making our way to the front entry with both of our hands full, my wife dropped the garment bag she was carrying and at that very moment the porter ran by on his way to get someones car and ran right by my wife without pause and without offering to lend a hand. My wife was angry and I must say I was disappointed.”

• The ceiling above the sink leaked water from the room above it. The water dripped at certain times during our stay.

• Traffic around the hotel (highway) is terrible.

“We were so pleased to stay at the Westin Stone Briar for our 3rd anniversary. The staff checked us in and then had champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and dessert sent to our room an hour later. It was an incredible experience and one we plan to make a yearly (or more) tradition!”

• Loved comfortable beds, great TV, attractive surroundings, friendly staff, nice restaurant, beautiful view, relaxing getaway.
• Husband did not like double shower heads, was unable to adjust them. I do not like Frisco's city water taste.

“We will definitely return to this hotel and will recommend it to others. We met our closest long time friends to celebrate both couples' 30th anniversaries! It had all we needed: space to sit and visit, great HDTV for movies, lovely views, truly heavenly beds, good restaurant, nice frig. for restaurant leftovers, pretty pool area. Enjoyed a very nice getaway.”

• The restaurant was way below par and overly priced.

“Glad I got it on . Regular costs would have made the stay much less 'comfortable'. In all, the staff was good, but understaffed. Our waiter was running to keep up. Nothing like a sweaty server dripping in your food!”

“This is a wonderful Westin hotel, reflecting Texas heritage with elegance. They have their wonderful "heavenly beds" and other Westin trademark room amenities, terrific flat-screen had televisions, excellent service, fine dining and a terrific golf-course. It is in close proximity to all the north Dallas Frisco retail shopping and convenient to major roadways. We loved this hotel!”

• Decor and restaurant food which was outstanding.
• Didn't prepare the room down-free like requested, and then took our down without replacing sheets.

“The hotel is fabulous. I would recommend eating at the restaurant even if you don't stay at the hotel. The food was a good as I have had in any fine restaurant in Dallas. Beautiful rooms. Only negative was that the room had down pillows and comforters even though I called ahead and requested no-down. Then they left the previous sheets on the bed which had touched the down. Anyway, my wife had an allergic reaction to the sheets, but the staff did bring up new sheets upon request. Overall the stay was fabulous. The bedding was the only negative.”

“We had booked this hotel for a short trip to see a friend. We had excellent service from all the hotel staff. The food was wonderful and was priced better than I had expected. Only problem was the hotel was a bit hard to get too and the entrance was not well marked. We had a wonderful trip and will definitely stay at this hotel on our next visit.”

• The sheets were stained, no big deal.

“The hotel was amazing! It is brand new and beautiful inside and out. We got an upgrade on our room and it was beautiful with a great view. Awesome had TV in the room, great bed and awesome bathroom. All in all the nicest hotel I¿ve stayed in.”

“Awesome hotel! Staff, cleanliness, furnishings, workout room, everything was great! Nicest most courteous staff I have ever encountered. Room was absolutely immaculate every day during our 5 day stay. Bed comfortable. French doors open up to let fresh air in; very nice. Work out room was unbelievable - so much equipment and also courteous staff. Sauna, steam room, showers with everything provided (shampoo, etc.) Could not say enough good things about this hotel. Now I¿m spoiled; won't be able to stay anywhere else.”

• The fitness center/ dressing rooms were fabulous.
• The only thing I didn't like had to leave it!

“Fluffy beds with pristine, white comforters afforded us a wonderful night's sleep. The hotel staffed seemed genuinely interested in seeing to it that we had a great stay. My husband and I were delighted with the unbelievable equipment in the hotel fitness center. There were all sorts of beauty products in the lovely dressing rooms that made bathing under the double head shower even more enjoyable. A nice touch was the bowl of apples for a reward. I didn't want to leave!”

• Concierge staff was excellent in helping us with dinner reservations at local restaurants, with to directions/maps. Staff was friendly/efficient.
• Parking near hotel entrance is limited, additional parking a hike from hotel.

“We've stayed at this hotel twice on various visits to the north Dallas area and have found it to be a quiet, pleasant place to 'get away'. The rooms are spacious, and nicely appointed with comfortable beds. The staff is friendly and helpful. The surrounding area has great restaurants, shopping and interesting things to do.”

• The large room and comfortable bed.
• You have to pay for bottled water and the items on fridge, the price was not in sight.

“The rooms were nice, but for 150.00 they should be, I was very disappointed that the bottled water was not complimentary, and the snacks were not also, the fee for them should be the first thing you see, Very misleading.”
