• The location of this hotel is wonderful. It is right off the interstate and across the street from the mall.

“This hotel was clean and friendly. It has many access doors which made it easy to get in and out of. The only thing that I didn't find appealing was the work out room.”

• Right across from shopping mall and restaurants.
• Fitness room has poor quality equipment, no ventilation, no paper towels to wipe off equipment.

“Couldn't use the pool or hot tub - always crowded with young kids from early morning till late at night. Fitness room was small and cramped. Location was only reason we stayed there. Easy access to shopping, restaurants, etc.”

• I believe they put us into a smoking room because the door did not have a no smoking sign on it.

• Little Kiddies pool for fewer than 10. Foreign cleaning staffs not the best, LOCATION IS EXCELLENT good size rooms.
• Rooms need remodeling again. Cleaning people not consistent.

“Over priced for what you get. No Cont. Breakfast. Food is good. Make sure to use coupons for pizza or you pay way too much. Under 10 Pools. Someone DID finally drown. All the parents drinking and not watching their kids. This was a 2 year old swimming by himself. Some Parents are idiots. Good Sunday breakfast buffet. Very noisy by pool. Bar smoky because of mini casino. Good bands. No cover excellent location This town is known for sports tourneys. We were there for a huge hockey tourney. Keep this in mind when making reservations as the pool was to capacity with all the kids. Great location good food.”

• The room did not have a hotel directory except for a small drawing on the back of the door. I could not find where the exercise room was located.

• Beds very comfortable, clean room. Lighting excellent, great for reading in the evening. Very quiet. Great service in restaurant and front desk.
• The water in the bathroom sink took too long to get hot.

“We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The location was excellent. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. The bed was really comfortable (we had a single king). The staff was very friendly and accommodating at both the front desk and in the restaurant, where the food was good and served promptly and courteously. We really appreciated the fact that, unlike a lot of hotels, there was a lot of light in our room and two comfortable chairs. We will definitely stay in this hotel again when we return to Fargo.”

• Need more outdoor electrical plug ins for block heaters.

“We feel that this was an excellent hotel in a great location and was well worth the cost of the night stay. The pool area was great and fun for both adults and children. The hotel also offered a great lounge and restaurant and room service was excellent. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the room was very clean.”

• The pool.
• No soap, plugged drain in tub, hair on bathroom floor.

“Will not stay there again. I would expect to at least get a bar of soap, and a tub we could take a shower in. The drain was clogged with hair.”

• The cost was higher than we typically spend for a fun night at a hotel.

“The hotel met and exceeded our expectations. Very nice, super comfortable beds, internet access, and our 9 year old loved the pool and I think our 14 year old did too. It is close to mall which was super and not far from schools (with ferries wheel) and many restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.”

• The hotel needs to be updated. The carpet needs replacement in the halls and the room.

• The incredible staff!
• The bar food was so-so.

“The staff was incredible. We were staying b/c our son was in the NICU. I asked if we could rent a fridge for milk storage and they brought one right up at no charge. We didn't need our room cleaned every day since we stayed for nine nights but they called every few days to make sure we were okay. They called us when friends dropped off gifts/food/flowers and kept things for us when we were not available. Also a beautiful hotel with comfortable beds and nice showers.”

• The staff was very accommodating and really focused on customer service.
• The bathroom was a bit small.

I will be staying at this Holiday Inn every time I stay in Fargo and will prefer to stay at other Holiday Inn's based on the experience that I had at this hotel.”

• We loved the water park.
• No complimentary breakfast, I guess due to the fact of having two restaurants in located in the hotel.

• Newly remodeled rooms with contemporary furnishings.
• Awoken both days by 8 am with doors slamming and kids screaming in hallway.

“Great place to visit. Pool / small waterslide for the young kids, bar for the old ones, mall across the street for the teens. Rooms in the main part of the hotel are nicely furnished, well updated. Hotels in the tower portion are newly updated as well, but not as nicely done. Hotel bar does music on Friday and Saturday and is usually quite busy. Lots of restaurants and retail within walking distance. Well worth the stay.”

• The pool/water park was perfect for my 3 and 7 year old children.
• Kids eat free is a little misleading and the choice of free meal is very limited

• Somewhat worn. Wallpaper starting to peel, etc.

“This hotel is located just across from west acres mall and in close proximity to Haralson baseball complex, both perfect for our purposes. Staff was friendly and efficient. The only down side was no continental breakfast with a fairly pricey restaurant as the alternative. Rooms could also use some freshening up.”

• The room was very nice, clean and huge for the price we got it for.
• Room service lady was very loud knocking on all the doors at 9 am on Sunday.

“We had a fantastic time at this hotel until Sunday Morning at 9 am when the maid persisted on waking everyone in the hotel on my floor. She was very loud and could hear here from one end of the floor to the next. She also was basically pounding down the door. I do not know what person wants to wake up that early in the morning on the weekend. I especially feel sorry for anyone who has small children and was looking forward to sleeping in on the weekend. Sleeping in on Sunday was impossible thanks to room service.”

• A lot of amenities on site. They had a restaurant, a lounge, a pool & whirlpool and wireless internet.
• No morning food unless you go to the restaurant.

• It was located right across the street from the mall and other shopping places and restaurants.
• It boosted about a big pool but it was mainly an oversized kiddy pool and not good for kids over 10 or young adults and definitely not a couples place.

“The hotel staff is friendly; it has a great lounge and was close to all shopping locations. I would recommend this place to families with very young children under 10 but not to anyone else. It was not meant for families with preteens or teenagers or for any couple with or without children that are not under 10. The pool only goes to 3 ft deep and it was packed with children. There was nothing for older children to do there. Parking was terrible as they have very few stalls close to your rooms if you¿re in the back. The lobby was beautiful.”

• The pool - no small table in room to play cards, etc...

“We will not stay there again. The price is extremely high for such basic hotel. The distance from room to lobby-restaurant-etc was very far. Our bathroom had plumbing issues with toilet & shower. But the worst experience was when we took our kids to the water park. It was so loud & there were allot of parents sitting around drinking & not even paying attention to their children. We did see 1 staff person but she was not really supervising anything or anyone & she had shoes on in the water area so I don¿t think she was a permanent fixture. It is a disaster waiting to happen----someone¿s child is going to drown in that pool!”

• It is set up in a sprawling manner where one needs to wear track shoes to make the long trek to their room.

• The pool area is great for kids of all ages. Clean and supervised.
• A little spendy, but the pool area makes up for it.

“I will not return to this hotel. When I checked in, I informed the desk staff that I had reservations for two nights. After the first night, hotel security showed up and threatened my wife and children with "eviction" without even bothering to ask if we had an additional reservation. I told the front desk about what happened, but apparently I did not shout enough to get their attention and they acted as if this was not a big deal. I have NEVER been treated as a squatter in a hotel room before and I was deeply insulted by their behavior.”

“The pool has a pirate ship--super fun for kids, super noisy for adults. I would not recommend a poolside room for the weekend! We didn't stay in a poolside room, thankfully, and the rooms are very large and clean. The staff is very friendly and attentive--when I had a headache, they brought acetaminophen to my room.”
