• Clean room with microwave and fridge, good location.
• Hot tub was
  not working.

“We were very pleased with all aspects of our stay at this hotel. The room was attractive and clean, the hotel was in a great location and the staff helpful and friendly. We were especially pleased with the great hot breakfast items available in the morning.”

• Friendly staff, clean rooms, location.
• Could use some updating but it was well taken care of & clean.

“We would definitely go back. The staff was very friendly, the location is great and it was quiet. The room was oversized and because we had two of us getting ready for a wedding, it was good. The beds were comfortable too.”

• Hotel room had many amenities (microwave, fridge, great towels) and served a hot breakfast.
• Some of the food served was bland, difficulty regulating room temperature during night.

• Efficient basic breakfast in comfortable surroundings.
• The pool decking of pebble stones really hurts your feet.

• The front desk staff when we checked in was excellent. She provided us with information on local restaurants and business.
• Thought the king bed was not very comfortable.

“I think this hotel would have been best suited to the business traveler. I have stayed in other Wyndham hotels and been more satisfied. Was very nice and quiet and the exercise facility was top rate. Breakfast was also top rate! I would recommend this hotel to friends, especially those with children.”

• Great breakfast, clean lobby, quiet.
• The beds weren't real comfortable. It was like sleeping on a board.

• It was clean and location was good.
• The staff did not let us check in at 3:00 and they did not honor our request for a double bed, even though we called early.

“Terrible, terrible. The service was horrible and we were treated very poorly. They blamed everything on the fact that we booked on line (I always book on line and NEVER am treated like a second class citizen). They said they did not have any double beds available, but the receptionist gave a room to her friends behind us with a double bed and no smoking (which is what we wanted because we had a baby with us - we got a smoking room). Plus she gave them a discount on the room! Very bad experience.”

• The continental breakfast, although crowded, was pretty good.
• There was no television during our entire stay.

“This hotel was rated at 1.5 stars -- which was one of the better ratings for Fargo. There had been some recent repairs to the walls, and the Spackle was yet unpainted, and some of the trim was missing -- it just looked tacky. The television did not work at all, and calls to the desk were not handled in a professional way. The shower had a head the adjusted up and down on a pole, but it would not stay secured, so, you had to hold it up for the entire shower. The lobby, where the continental breakfast was served, was clean, but the breakfast was so crowded that guests were forced to share the large table in the conference room. The food was standard c-breakfast fare -- nothing special. I would only stay here again in a pinch. I think that it is over-rated on the site.”

• Nice rooms, cocktail hour, good continental breakfast, quiet.
• Can't think of anything .

“Excellent location in the Fargo area. Close to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. Easy to get to . On main road. Rooms are clean , large and up to date. Comfortable chair in the room is a plus.”

• They treated us as if we were genuinely important guests in their place and they thought of many ways to communicate our welcome there.
• Really, only its location and even that is not very bad.

“My family and I would highly recommend this hotel to any business traveler or those, like us, that have spent many nights a year over the years staying in various hotels at different levels of costs. Anyone seeking a place that feels a little like home away from home will find this meets their requirements. The Wingate felt homey, the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast and the happy hours were beyond our expectations. It beats anything in North Dakota that we have experienced.”

• Flexible, they let us trade a king size bed for king bed & sofa sleeper.
• Fire alarms went off at around 7 a.m.
