“Room was clean and well appointed. Access was easy and rooms were comfortable. Not sure I like the number beds..may not have had it set right. Very pleased.” Oct 21, 2009 by
Nick from Cache,OK
“The hotel was very nice. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the room. However, it was a pretty far away from restaurants like Outback and TGI Friday's, which is crucial for me when I do business trips out of state. It was close to the Dallas Cotton Bowl, which was perfect for me as I was covering the Texas game for my newspaper.” Oct 21, 2009 by
Luther from Norman,OK
“Did not feel secure in parking lot.” Aug 24, 2009 by
Nancy not Linda from Longview,TX
“I have stayed at a raddison several times but this was the first one Aug 19, 2009 by
Jennifer from Tyler,TX
“Very disappointed. Uncomfortable, room smelled of cigarette smoke, noise level of other guests was a real problem--there was an evening event in a nearby ballroom that lasted until past 2am, children were running and yelling in hallway all night.” Jul 3, 2009 by
Mary from Houston,TX
“It was fine for business trip.” Jun 11, 2009 by
Lisa from Dallas,TX
“Blah, blah.” May 12, 2009 by
Theresa from Magnolia,TX
“Would recommend.” May 8, 2009 by
Della from Lubbock,TX
“The room was small and cramped, with too much furniture thrown into such a little room. The bathroom was extremely small, so small the sink had to be outside of the bathroom. The windows were small and spaced far apart and could not be used to look out of because of all the furniture in front of them. The carpet was stained, but the worst part was the sleep number beds. They were like sleeping on a glorified air mattress.” Nov 5, 2008 by
Lynn
“Rooms were nice and spacious, staff accomodating and resturant convenient and great food! Would stay again when in Dallas.” Sep 26, 2008 by
Todd
“The room was small. The blankets were down filled. There were large stains on the carpet. The coffee maker did not work; there was no toilet paper or toilet paper holder in the bathroom. The door lock was not coded so my key didn’t work and the front desk accused me of damaging the card 3 times before they sent up maintenance to fix the lock. We waited in the hall way for 30 minutes for this to be fixed. Security at the hotel was non existent with fire doors being accessible from either up or down directions and at the ground level unsecured (they should be out only).” Sep 14, 2008 by
Baylen from Broussard, LA
“When I arrived, there was a little delay from desk agent. A more senior person moved forward to help. Room was noisy and had this sleep number bed, which I played around with, but did not care for.” Aug 16, 2008 by
Larry from Kansas City, MO
“I was pleasantly surprised with the overall quality. It is an older property but it seems well maintained.” Aug 6, 2008 by
Jeremy from Hereford, TX
“This is a great place to stay at, for families or if you are traveling by yourself. The staff was great and very accommodating.” Jul 28, 2008 by
Myrl from Batesville, AR
“The hotel was recently remodeled and I really couldn't tell what exactly was. I had to change rooms due to unclean bathroom and bugs in the tub. I did not the sleep number bed but the room size was good.” Jul 17, 2008 by
Pat from Round Rock, TX
“The room was comfortable, clean and the staff was friendly. However, the fitness center needs a lot of updating and maintenance. The location was convenient to SMU.” Jul 11, 2008 by
Dawn from Lindale, TX
“Hotel & restaurant were nice. Not much of a selection on breakfast buffet. The pool was filthy! Needed to be cleaned BAD!” Jun 27, 2008 by
Jim from Ocoee, FL
“Great stay. Problem of shower solved. Would stay here again.” Jun 27, 2008 by
Louann from Duncan, OK
“Everything was great except the beds were hard and very uncomfortable.” Jun 16, 2008 by
Vanessa from Greatvine, TX
“The area isn't the greatest but its okay. It was what I expected. The front desk guy at check-in was not friendly at all. He didnt even say thank you, but we just laughed. View isn't great; security is good, parking garage being built. My boyfriend didn't like the hotel. We normally pay less and like the hotel way more than this one.” Jun 10, 2008 by
Stephanie from Abilene, TX
“I have stayed at Radisson Hotels before and have been very pleased. When we arrived, we checked in and the front desk personnel was average. We then went up to our room which had a sleep number bed (one of the only things that we were pleased about). The decor was nice and seemed a little more "upscale". But the carpet was worn and we were stuck in a room with a handicap shower that leaked all throughout the bathroom. The sink was outside of the bathroom and was very awkward and aged. What bothered me more was that when we were at the pool, it was extremely dirty, which was fine because it was a very windy day. Trash like paper cups floated in the pool and there was no staff member in sight (in my opinion, someone should occasionally check the condition of the pool area). However, we decided to stay as my fiance spotted a cleaning net. We then cleaned the pool ourselves. A staff member came walking through (only to get from point A to point B) and my fiance stopped her to informed her that the pool was very dirty. She replied, "Oh, I don't clean the pool. You could go and tell the front desk or there's a net over there...you can clean it yourself! Never in our lives have we heard someone from a hotel's staff, not even a two star hotel, say "you can do it yourself!" We were happy to leave this place despite the decor and bed. Neither were enough to a tone for the lousy service.” May 12, 2008 by
Amy from Grand Rapids, MI
“The hotel was clean, quite and in a good part of town. The staff were very nice and helpful. Only 2 things that were below average were the noisy A/C and the sleep number bed. I was excited to try out this bed and was very disappointed. After using it at this hotel I will not buy one and will not stay at another Radisson that has only sleep number beds. Other than that the hotel was very nice.” May 9, 2008 by
Marvin from Los Altos, CA
“Cleanliness o.k., facilities old but well maintained, fairly crummy section of town. Beds/mattresses uncomfortable - "by the numbers" inflatable.” May 2, 2008 by
Mignon G. from Tulsa, OK
“Stayed in this hotel about 10 times. It is either no problem at all for my stay, or no hot water, A/C does not blow cool air. Have slept in my clothes because no heat. Somehow the maid does not empty trash can, leave coffee packet. You need a miners hat because there is only one light that has a bulb that works. Would you call this a good experience?” Apr 18, 2008 by
Steve from Wichita, KS
“Carpet had paint on it, paint on headboards, doorknobs, toilet. Sat on foot of bed and it tipped over. Both beds! Very small bathroom. No vending machines. Good location. Disagree with a 3 star rating for this Radisson.” Apr 16, 2008 by
Jesse from Dallas, TX
“This hotel is in a great location close to Love Field, but not too far from D/FW airport. We had to go to both during our brief stay. The front desk person accommodated our need for a room change quickly and easily. There was no full length closet in the first room. Once the renovations are complete including the underground parking, it will be a very convenient and comfortable place to stay. Keep up the good security. We did not get a chance to eat at the restaurant.” Apr 15, 2008 by
Brenda from Livingston, TX
“Overall the hotel was comfortable and the breakfast dining was nice.” Apr 14, 2008 by
Mike from Austin, TX
“Very nice rooms; great staff; no charge for parking; great location.” Apr 14, 2008 by
Gene from Huffman, TX
“Poor. I do not recommend.” Apr 13, 2008 by
Charlie from Las Vegas, NV
“I had to be moved twice in order to find a room in which internet access was available. However was told that I had access when checking in. After 6 hours of speaking with hotel internet provider and several hotel staff I was finally moved into a room in which service was provided. My work which should have taken 2 hours took over 7 hours to complete because of this issue. I would never want to stay in this hotel again!” Apr 6, 2008 by
Sandra from Amarillo, TX
“All hotels I have stayed in previously have been great. This one had poor reviews and I hope never to stay there again. The beds were very uncomfortable. I still don't know my number. I had asked for a new room and was put on the 6th floor as were my other friends. All the rooms had nasty carpet that needed to be replaced and it smelled like an old hotel. I had stayed there years ago when it was a Clarion and was very upscale, mahogany furniture, etc.” Apr 6, 2008 by
Fran from Zachary, LA
“Hotel was clean, convenient, friendly staff, food was good. Great for business travel.” Apr 3, 2008 by
Susan from Okla City, OK
“Each time I stay I request room on floor w/ working ice maker. Again as in past 2 stays here, I am put on floor w/ broken ice maker. Do they ever fix them?” Apr 3, 2008 by
Gloria from Fox Lake, IL
“The shuttle may only take you 5 miles. Our destination was 5.92 miles and we had to take a cab each time. The housekeeping staff did not speak any English at all- when the fire alarm went off, they were not able to direct us to a stairwell. The rooms were very dark which made it difficult to get ready for a formal event. The carpeting was very, very dirty- enough to make my socks black every day. The front desk staff was very nice.” Apr 2, 2008 by
Carole from Austin, TX
“Very quiet. Very comfortable bed with nice linens.” Apr 2, 2008 by
Jennifer from Greenville, MS
“This hotel should be knocked down to a 2 star until renovation is complete! The entrance to the hotel is nice, but that is all! Bed was nice, but bathroom was TINY. My key to the room & outside door did not work TWICE, 1st staff member was NOT sympathetic at all (2nd night staff was very friendly & apologetic). It was very frustrating since I was carrying lots of documents and Im 7 months pregnant! I would NOT stay at this hotel again.” Apr 2, 2008 by
Melba from Montpelier, LA
“I was in Dallas for market, so I happened to know some other people staying there. Their car was one of several broken into in the parking lot. The security guard was nonchalant about it, like it was common for that to happen. I know they had a shooting there about a year ago. I wasn't happy when I found out that hotel was still a 3*. The rooms are only in fair shape. The carpet was raveled and coming loose by the bathroom door. The bathrooms are extremely tiny. The only good thing about the place is their pillows! The lobby area is small but nice.” Apr 2, 2008 by
Jack from Springfield, MO
“Hotel is adequate for what I needed, would stay there again.” Apr 2, 2008 by
Judy from Crosby, TX
“Wireless was very weak first 2 days and I was unable to access the internet. The last 2 days it wasn't even "up" which is a disaster for business travelers! They did send someone up but they were unable to help and they were unable to give me a different room that may have helped because they were supposedly "full". I would never "choose" to stay there again unless wireless actually worked!” Apr 2, 2008 by
Mary from Nashville, TN
“I would stay again.” Apr 1, 2008 by
Brian from San Francisco, CA
“Friendly, professional, and courteous staff. Clean rooms. Did get charged for a long distance phone call, when in fact I never touched the phone. They removed the charge, but I wonder how often that happens without people noticing. If you have your own car, a good location. Free hotel shuttle service to Dallas Love Field airport (not to Dallas Fort Worth).” Mar 27, 2008 by
Sal from Daly City, CA
“Good hotel that is improving. Like the changes, keep them coming.” Mar 26, 2008 by
Nyoka from Odessa, TX
“The beds were full size beds, not queen. I've never stayed in a hotel that had anything less than a queen or king size bed. The rooms were so small; they probably couldn't fit to queen size beds in the room. The bathrooms fixtures were rusty too. The pool was not available to swim in. Staff at night when we check in were extremely nice and friendly.” Mar 19, 2008 by
Jackie from Tyler, TX
“Day staff were kind, friendly. Night staff not helpful. Conflict in what we were told for times going on the airport shuttle. Ended up the Security guard took us and a pilot to the airport because the day staff told us different times than night staff said were available. And the special Sleep Number bed in our room did not work.” Mar 17, 2008 by
Mark from Gladewater, TX
“This is an older hotel that although conveniently located. I would not choose this hotel as a place to stay.” Mar 10, 2008 by
Shaibaz from Cincinnati, OH
“The Radisson hotel is very conveniently located and closer to downtown. The room furnishings are great with an exceptional sleep number bed, which was the highlight of my stay. The bathroom size and closet space was tiny. Also, internet connection was very slow, which was irritating to me as a business traveler. Some of the hotel staff could be more courteous and friendly.” Mar 5, 2008 by
Laney from Lubbock, TX
“It was a good experience. The staff was friendly and the food was very good.” Feb 26, 2008 by
Joseph from Troup, TX
“Very clean. Good location. Lots of things to do right in the immediate area, would definitely stay there again. friendly staff.” Feb 26, 2008 by
Scott from Kingwood, TX
“For just a one night stay this hotel was adequate. Easy access off of the interstate. Seemed to be plenty of parking, which you did not have to pay for. Room had the sleep number beds, which are a little different, but ok. Hotel seemed to be remodeling I guess. The hallway had some work that needed to be completed. Bathroom is kind of small, but did the job. Ice machine did not work. It was not a bad stay.” Feb 20, 2008 by
Becky from Spring, TX
“This hotel was in a good central location. The staff was exceptional. You can tell they have recently renovated, very nice. Only complaint, the carpets need to be replaced. Maybe they have not gotten to that yet?) Overall a great place to stay. Would stay again.”
