• Wonderful bed with fabulous comforter. Nice area.
• It stank badly enough to make us nauseous because it was a smoking room. Hard to get past the smell.

“The hotel is beautiful and I cannot say enough good things about the bed with its deep pillowy comforter. We had to stay in a King room (no doubles available) but the bed was so great we were fine with that. The hotel should do away with the stinking smoking rooms, so no one gets stuck with them. It gives the impression that the hotel is not clean. The grounds are delightful, with a lake, ducks, swans and pigeons, as well as attractive landscaping. The lobby and public rooms are decorated beautifully. The hot chocolate was great.”

• The hotel was definitely first class.
• Nothing we didn't like.

“Wow is about all I can say for this hotel. When we drove up we knew we were staying in a 5 star hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We were met by the Valet service wearing suits. The rooms were to die for. I don't think I have slept that well in any other hotel. The bed was one of the most comfortable I had ever slept in. . . .”

• Room was nothing special for this kind of hotel.

“The hotel was nice and in a nice, convenient area. Our room was nothing spectacular, however, considering that it was a 4 star hotel. We had a regular "double" room, and we did not have much more space than we would've had in a much lower priced hotel. But, the surroundings were very nice.”

• Comfortable while still being a 4 star.
• The only thing I can say is the bottled water was priced at $6 which was ridiculous.

“This hotel is not only beautiful and convenient, but very cozy while being luxurious. The staff was very service oriented and friendly. I will be back many times.”

• The staff was extremely helpful with directions and recommendations for restaurants in the area.
• There wasn't anything we didn't like; it was a very pleasant stay.

• The muffin available in the gift shop wasn't very fresh.

“This hotel is located in the Las Colinas suburb of Irving, TX. It is convenient to major highways and is about an equal distance between FT. Worth and Dallas. The surroundings are very pleasant and safe. Whenever there were events taking place at the hotel there were not enough parking spaces. Not only could you not self park, but the valet ran out of parking. The room was pleasant, nothing special. Other than an Ethernet plug, there wasn't anything special to accommodate a business traveler. The bed linens were lofty and there were numerous pillows, making the bed very comfortable. Robes were provided and there was a magnifying mirror on the bathroom wall. The ice machines were located on every other floor which is a bit of a nuisance. The rooms seemed pretty sound proof as my room was located by the elevators and I didn't hear them. Overall, it was a pleasant hotel and a nice stay.”

“Omni Mandalay Las Colinas is a hidden gem that is conveniently located to the entire dfw metroplex with service that would be on par with a five star hotel world wide! I was expecting much less and was amazed with the no intrusive, highly professional staff. The omni Mandalay Las Colinas knows what customer service is all about! You will not be disappointed!”

“Overall, a nice hotel. The area (Las Collinas) used to be a busy area with many shops and places to dine. Now, most of those places are closed. If you had ever been there during its heyday the Las Collinas area was great for business travelers, now it seems kind of sad and lonely. Like an entertainer past his/her prime.”

• Industrial area so cabs anywhere were expensive.

“Can't say enough about the wonderful staff there. Rooms are huge and the location on the canal is pretty but it is somewhat isolated. You have to cab it everywhere and that gets expensive. However, the hotel was great and I would definitely stay there again. Close to Texas stadium too.”

• Room was excellent and staff very accommodating, great location easy access to Times Square and Broadway.
• Can not think of anything.

“Great hotel, room extremely comfortable. Location couldn't be better, can walk to Times Square, Broadway shows, Rockefeller Center, and Central Park relatively close also. Easy access to subway to downtown district. Plenty of restaurants nearby try Lindy's cheesecake and deli at Stage Deli (best pastrami Ive ever had!)”

• Luxury linens, comfortable bed, quiet room, Nice furniture, nice snacks/mini bar in room (although too expensive so I didn't use). Friendly staff.
• Shower grout could use a good bleaching.

• Our view was magnificent and the staff was fantastic!
• It would have been nice to have had a free breakfast available.

“The room was beautiful with a marvelous view of the Las Colinas canal and the Las Colinas mustangs sculpture. The bed was fabulous and all in room amenities were top notch. I was especially impressed with the staff. Everyone was very friendly and helpful without hesitation!”

• The hotel facilities were very nice. It was a great place to get away for a romantic weekend.
• I did not like having to pay $14.00 for a 30 second long distance call to find my cell phone.

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to get away for a romantic weekend. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the views from the rooms are inspiring, especially at night. This hotel is close to anywhere you want to go in the Dallas fort worth area, including the airport.”

“Prior to check in, I explained it was our anniversary, we were not only upgraded to a suite at no charge, but champagne and chocolate covered strawberries were in the room when we got there. Without a doubt, the nicest suite we have ever stayed in combined with excellent service, food and facilities.”

• Upon entering there is a nice big open space with beautiful plants.
• We could hear people in the room next to us and in the corridor.

“It was very nice; the staff was great they even knew my name when I requested a wake up call. The person making the wake up call even called me by name. I was amazed that it was not just a silly computer. The only draw down was it is located in a very business area and not much to do after business hours in the area. But that I am sure is a plus for others. Overall it was a great place to stay.”

• Treated us like royalty. Left an item behind and the staff found it and shipped it to us.
• I am not able to.

“This style of hotel is usually out of our price range. We resisted calling our relatives in Dallas just so we could enjoy the hotel experience. There were activities for all to do, including my 5 yr old. Each encounter with staff was helpful, pleasant and informative. Each one asked us to come back.”

“This was an extremely luxurious hotel - very beautiful all around. The only two things we did not like was the maze we had to go through to get to the swimming pool area and the long distance from the parking garage to the room.”

• The beds were very comfortable.
• Check in receptionist was slightly rude.

“Our experience after check in was great. We had paid for three rooms, but when I arrived before my husband, I could not check in, as he had all the credit cards. I had to wait an hour and a half before I could get into a room. Since we had three rooms. I think they should have allowed check in a gotten the credit card, when my husband arrived with the rest of our group. We had three rooms, for three nights.”

• The hotel had a comfortable lounge with a piano player till midnight. A bar was located near by for those who wished to have a drink.
• The noise in the hallway was easily heard from inside our room.

“The overall experience was very pleasant. I would definitely stay there again. However, I would make sure that I was not placed next to the elevators again. We could hear the elevators run up and down all night long. I have never experienced that problem before.”
