• The rooms were spacious and clean, nice bathroom.
• Internet in the room cost $10 and it was not wireless.

“This is a pretty hotel with nice spacious rooms. The linens are nice as is the TV. Lots of plugs and mirrors. The bathroom and nice and clean. The AC did hiss a bit, but it was nice and cool. However, it costs $10 for internet and it was not even wireless. I used the downstairs business area instead. It was free.”

• Rooms and Hotel are very clean. Staff was very professional.
• The restaurant is dated and very old school.

“Great hotel, very clean and they have a security guard in the parking lot at night (rare these days). Pool is indoors but very clean. The only bad point is that they have a breakfast buffet that cost $15.95 and you rarely see anyone eating.”

• Central location to friends we were visiting in Ft. Worth and Dallas.
• A very quiet area of town - rarely saw anyone.

“We needed a central hotel between Ft. Worth and downtown Dallas. It was a quiet, clean hotel and if we had time we would have used the indoor pool. The whole Las Colinas area is so quiet - we didn't see anyone. We walked around the canal area one night around 9:00 pm and it was a ghost town.”

• Nice decor, Bath and Bodyworks toiletries, dry Sauna.
• Jacuzzi out of order entire stay.

“Hotel was beautiful and clean. Tub was broken/patched around the drain area. Was not a problem for us as we are show people, but if I wanted to take a bath, it would not have been acceptable. Staff was neither friendly nor unfriendly. Had problem with excess authorization hold to my card, which I'm still trying to resolve.”

• The hot tub was broken! Was looking forward relaxing in the hot tub.

• The front desk staff was excellent - very helpful with my having lost my wallet.
• Bugs in room and no air-conditioning.

“I checked in late and was tired so didn't notice the air conditioner unit wasn't working until the following morning. Very uncomfortable, especially being in Dallas in late July. Also, there was a large cockroach and flying nats in the bathroom.”

• The Wyndham is the best hotel for the price.
• The location is difficult to find.

“We stay at the Wyndham in Irving every time we make a trip to Dallas. The hotel staff is always friendly, and the hotel and rooms are always clean. I estimate the hotel ranks a solid three stars. The only down side is finding the hotel. It is almost invisible from the highway. Otherwise, the location is very central to popular areas, like Fort Worth, Grapevine, Six Flags, the Dallas Zoo, Texas Stadium, DFW Airport, and down town Dallas attractions. I highly recommend the Wyndham in Irving for family and business travelers, as long as you don't mind driving fifteen to twenty minutes to reach the most popular destinations in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.”

• The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, want to buy the linen. Clean.
• My room key didn't get me re entry in the back door. But maid service was very helpful and held the door for me.

“To me a hotel is a motel. But I am craving another night in your beds. The linens and comfort were the bomb. I'm ready to go online to check out if I can buy the linens, the bathroom cabinets, etc. It was extremely clean and anytime I did need assistance they went above and beyond. The front desk was very cheerful despite the fact that I had a late check in.”

“Friendly helpful staff couldn't help our wait while computer down as we tried to check in. Everything was clean. The pool area was clean and spacious. Towels were nice, and hairdryer, coffee-maker was provided. Breakfast was $14.95 per person. Internet was neither wireless nor free. There was no refrigerator in the room for our baby's milk.”

• The room was not quiet. It was connected to the room next door and hence you can hear the people in the next room talking or watching their TV.

“I think its a good hotel. But the room was not a private room. It was connected to room next-door through a door. So you it wasn't sound proof, you can hear the people next door talking and watching their TV. I think these rooms were meant for the big families who need two rooms together. Overall service of the hotel was good, it was clean and staff was friendly.”

• The executive location meant few restaurants in the evening nearby.

• Starbucks coffee stand does not open till 7am.

“The hotel is located conveniently between HWYs 114 and 287. It was very quiet and located in an upscale Business District. We had a great time in the sauna and indoor pool, even though the spa was not operating at the time. Some of the rooms have balconies overlooking a peaceful courtyard. My dad was able to step out the sliding glass door and have a smoke whenever he liked. The next day after our stay, I realized that I had forgotten my blackberry in the room. We were already a few hours into our trip, so I called the hotel. The housekeeping staff had already found my phone and placed it in their lost and found. I arranged to pick it up on our return trip and had no problems!”

“Staff friendly and helpful, indoor pool very nice and inviting although I wish they would extend their pool hours later at night. As I mentioned the crack that ran all around the ceiling in my room wasn't very attractive. All in all it is somewhere I would stay again.”

• The soft beds have been replaced with hard ones, they took out the microwaves, refrigerators, and armoires. The new chairs are uncomfortable.

“We stay at the Wyndam Las Colinas every time we are in town and have always been happy with the rooms. This visit was horrible and chances are we will not stay here again. They recently remodeled the rooms and took out the comfortable beds, chairs, microwave, refrigerator and armoires with the swiveling TV stands. We stayed three nights and changed rooms three times hoping that each room had a more comfortable bed. It wasn't until we moved for the third time that we were told that all of the beds had been replaced. It has been a week since our stay and both my husband and I are still sore from sleeping on the rock hard beds.”

• They charge $10 for wired internet access and do not offer wireless. These days, a crime! Also, no flat panel TV?

“Tucked in just off a major highway, the Wyndham Las Colinas is an oasis of comfort amidst the Office Space sprawl of north Dallas. The competent staff were gracious and accommodating; the room, opulent (save for the ca. 1990s huge TV when most luxer places are opting for svelte flat-panels); the workout room, modern, clean and well equipped (save for a not-apparently-operative AC). Would be perfect if they didn't gouge you on their wired internet service.”
