• Very spacious and clean.
• Rust stain on shower floor.

“This hotel is perfect for those who are staying for one night or the entire week. It has a small kitchen and table with cookware and flatware. Additionally there is a large closet rack (6ft) for those with lots of hanging cloths (iron and board included). Average to above average, but very convenient.”

• This hotel has a kitchenette in every room.
• The standard room is very small, even with the kitchenette.

“The standard room at this hotel has one queen bed and a chair that will pull out into a narrow bed. The kitchen facility is handy, but causes the room to feel very cramped. This would be a great place for an individual or maybe a couple. Families should look elsewhere. Service is friendly.”

• It was very quiet, the staff was great and it wasn't crowded.
• The shower was gross. The grout in was black in some places and the basin had rust spots. Also the bed was uncomfortable for me, but not my husband.

“The Extended Stay Deluxe was a good bargain. It would be a very good place to stay long term at its low rates. Although our shower needed to be repaired, the rest of our room was spotless as was the rest of the hotel. The exercise room had three good pieces of equipment that I enjoyed using. I would stay there again for the same price.”

• Wonderful layout, almost like an apartment!
• Other people's barking dogs left in rooms.

“This was an excellent hotel over all. Loved the kitchen and dining area, family outlet and private bathroom. Also enjoyed being able to watch TV from several areas due to the nice layout and design of the room. The location was secure and quiet.”

• Amenities were great (pool, DVD player in room, etc.).
• The a/c was really loud and when the refrigerator compressor turned off it made a really loud noise.

“This hotel was extremely quiet as far as "traffic noise" is concerned. The staff was extremely helpful and the hotel was beautifully landscaped, which made for an overall pleasant stay.”

• Room didn't smell that great, but I could see that the staff tried to get rid of it by opening the windows.

“Hotel location is excellent- right off the highway. Not many guests were there when we stayed so everything was nice and quiet. The staff was extra helpful when we needed an extra blanket or pot/pans.”

• Only one place to eat within walking distance.

“This hotel was clean and the staff was very good. They drove me to my appointments and to the food store so I could cook meals since there was only one restaurant within walking distance.”

“Quite and comfortable. Location is perfect to either DFW or DAL. Lots of restaurants in a 1/2 mile distance. Use of the local fitness club (LA Fitness) was the icing on the cake for me. Thanks for a very nice stay. The staff is fantastic!”

• Hotel staff was the least accommodating staff I have ever seen. They were unable to answer the most basic question and more importantly didn't care.

• Clean, friendly, secure, comfortable.
• Stayed in second building. Although there was a refrigerator, I found no ice maker. There was an ironing board, but no iron.

“Clean with kitchenette and sitting area but very difficult to find. Bed was comfortable. Could hear through the walls but my neighbors were quiet. I would stay again. The morning complimentary breakfast was bagels and juice. Could expand to cereal and yogurt. Pleasant stay for less money.”

• Maid service for a fee had to carry my dirty linen tot he front desk.

“For someone needing a kitchen and a bed the room would be excellent. For a family of three it was a little short on space. On checking in we were informed of a free breakfast but that it wouldn't be available during the weekend. ”

“The hotel charges extra for wireless internet which did not work in my room except sporadically. There was an infestation of ants in the bathroom. I was supposedly given a nonsmoking room but it smelled horribly of smoke. I complained but was not offered another room or any other option.”

• 1 trash can in whole room, broken DVD player &no breakfast as advertised.

“I was impressed with the overall look of the hotel and the remodel. I was dissatisfied that we were not told in the advertising that there was not a continental breakfast served on the weekends/holidays. We did not have any housekeeping. The DVD player was broken and there was only one small trash can in the bathroom. We stayed in Irving which should be noted is a dry city, there was no alcohol sold aside from restaurants. Overall this hotel was nice as in clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.”

• I loved the kitchen. Fridge, microwave, dishwasher.
• I found nothing wrong with my stay or experience.

“I was very pleased to find a whole kitchen in my room. My girlfriend could get food to go or go grocery shopping and dine indoors on leftovers whatever we whammed. Had an iron board and was quite a pleasant experience and the cost can't be beat for a Dallas hotel. I would recommend this hotel for the price and accommodations.”

• The location & cleanliness. The night staff person was absolutely great!
• Not a thing.

“This was a great hotel at a great location and price. This was my first trip to irving -- to see the Dallas cowboys of course! This was a gift by my friend Rachel Vasquez. • Price.
• Regina at the front desk was not available when I got stuck outside the hotel. No washcloths in room all week despite frequent requests.

“I have been staying at this particular extended stay deluxe with little complaints until this week. My room had no washcloths despite frequent requests. I was locked outside the hotel after working late and my key did not work. I tried calling several times to no avail. This was probably the worst customer service I had ever experienced.”

“Very nice hotel. Will stay there again. The silverware in both rooms were a little dirty, and the drawers in the bathroom were dirty. The lock was busted on the room door, there was no remote control to the TV. Other then that, I enjoyed my stay, very friendly staff, nice lobby, and overall nice rooms.”

• Showers need to drain better, appliances should work.

“Good value, front desk should be accessible 24hrs (they are not available for late check in). Staff is courteous. More attention should be paid to appliances (iron, ironing board ) in rooms to be sure they work. And the shower did not drain water properly (yuck)”

“The hotel was in an area that I felt safe, since I was traveling alone. It was neat, clean, with friendly staff. The complimentary, hot breakfast was a real help, since I was unfamiliar with the area, and had no idea where any restaurants were.”

“The hotel accommodations were very nice. The only problem I encountered was that I was given a room with one queen-sized bed. I needed a room for two people with two beds, so this was some what of a problem. We were told that the hotel was full and they could not give us a different room, even though my reservation was made months ago.”

“Nice location and very nice facilities. Only two negative comments: this hotel is rated a 2.5* and offers optional high speed internet service for $9.95 per day which we paid in order to print boarding passes from the airline's website the night before our very early 6am flight departure. The front desk said they could not and would not print the boarding passes at the hotel, not even for a fee, and that the only thing they could suggest was driving to a KINKO's to get them printed. Had we known this in advance, we would not have purchased the $9.95 high speed internet access. Second, I asked for 2 extra pillows and the front desk said they could only give me 1. That didn't seem like an unreasonable request to me and given the size of the hotel, I felt it was likely they could have located one more pillow for my comfort but chose to say they could only find 1. Otherwise, this is a very nice hotel including kitchenette facilities and I would stay here again.”
