“This is a very good deal for the price. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. I'll likely stay here again.” Sep 3, 2008 by
Roberta from Pearland, TX
“No batteries in remote control, carpet is 50 years old as well as entire decor of room, blankets have holes in them, breakfast is a joke, dirty hotel, poor customer service, hotel smells awful.” Aug 28, 2008 by
Melody from Denton, TX
“The hotel was fine.” Aug 28, 2008 by
Chara from Oklahoma City, OK
“This hotel was fine for one night but overall it was rather dirty and in need of all sorts of small repairs.” Aug 25, 2008 by
Shelly from Lubbock, TX
“Definitely not a 2 star hotel!” Aug 20, 2008 by
Richard from Houston, TX
“Very friendly staff. Needs remodeling for sure. Kind of has a musky odor to the motel.” Aug 20, 2008 by
Steve from Camden, AR
“Very trashy. Elevator was missing buttons. We had asked 2 rooms for 2 nights for a group of 8. Had to change from original rooms because bathroom lights didnt work and rooms were not adjoining. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. New room had 3 bathroom tiles that were not attached and kept coming up. Both rooms had tiny little bugs crawling in the tub. Our room had carpet coming up. The other room was missing the towel rack in the bathroom and towels were just stacked on the back of the toilet. The continental breakfast was very poor. They offered 1 cereal, muffin or bagel, and juice or coffee. There was no place to sit down so we had to take all the food back to the room. Horrible experience.” Aug 19, 2008 by
Chris from San Angelo, TX
“Like I said in my previous email to you: this space is not large enough to air my absolute disgusting this hotel. When we parked outside to register, my wife refused to get out of the car because there was a strong, bad smell even though the windows were closed and the air conditioning was running. When I went inside to check in, the clerk was indifferent. Taking the elevator up to the 3rd floor, it reeked of bug spray. Entering the room, it had some foul, sour smell. I later went to the front desk to tell them I am not prepared to stay there because of the foul conditions, and all the girl at the desk could say was "okay". My wife and I then had to go look for another hotel in the area. It was a terrible, frustrating and embarrassing experience which we never want to go through again!” Aug 5, 2008 by
Terry from Lufkin, TX
“Will not stay there again. Will not recommend.” Aug 5, 2008 by
Lyle from Winfield, KS
“My experience have always been very positive, at least until I stayed at the Denton Texas Travelodge. The Denton Texas Travelodge is a dump. The rooms are small, the lighting is not good. The radio and light between the beds could not be both plugged in at the same time because the bed covered off half the electrical outlet. Also, the electrical outlet did not have a cover. The continental breakfast had cereal, but the juice machine didn't work and it wasn't encouraging to have a lady holding her dog while getting her food. The breakfast area had not been cleaned. The place smelled of lots of cleaning detergents, probably to mask other smells. Rather than the key scanners everyone else uses the rooms used actual keys, which didn't seem very secure. The shower was quite good and the shower floor was nice. However, that may speak loudly about the place when one of the positives is a nice floor in the bathroom. The check-in help was friendly both at check-in and check-out. This was supposed to be a two-star hotel. I had to give it one star because that was the lowest rating possible. It doesn't warrant a star at all.” Aug 4, 2008 by
Sue from Gainesville, TX
“Nice friendly staff. Rooms need to be updated.” Aug 2, 2008 by
Marvin from Tulsa, OK
“I was only looking for someplace clean to sleep and I feel that is what I got. The hotel was in obvious need of remodeling, but clean. The staff was friendly and as accommodating as possible. The continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. Upon checkout there was no luggage cart to be found. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone who was looking for a vacation destination.” Jul 29, 2008 by
Anthony from Red Cloud, NE
“Dirty everywhere, smelled bad, needs updated.” Jul 25, 2008 by
Michele from Carthage, TX
“Compared to the other basic hotels in Denton, I would have thought for the money I would have at least gotten a slightly nicer hotel. This was a motel, not a hotel, in my opinion.” Jul 24, 2008 by
Janet from Humble, TX
“The room was very clean even though the furniture was worn. Carpet and paint looked new. The room was very quiet although the hotel appeared very full. Would definitely stay there again.” Jul 10, 2008 by
Russ from Bella Vista, AR
“NA.” Jul 7, 2008 by
Robert from Chatfield, TX
“It is a decent economy hotel with a low price. The front desk is very polite and helpful. This is a good hotel if you are looking for a cheap place and are not picky. I would not recommend for a family or if you want something moderate or better.” Hotel Representatives:
