• The beds were very comfortable and our room had a great view of the bay.

“We enjoyed our stay. The room was very nice and quite spacious. The beds were very comfortable and we had a great view of Port Isabel from our balcony. We were very pleased with our stay.”

• Very clean, smoking room did not smell like smoke!
• Pool opened 1 hr before check out; really bad breakfast.

• Rooms were run down, bedding old with holes.

“Did not like service at front desk, young people were not professional or helpful. Asked the cleaning lady for fresh towel because I didn't want the room cleaned and she said no she had to clean it. Then asked the housekeeping manager and she told me I could wash them myself at the laundry room.”

• The air conditioner worked great to help beat the heat. The swimming pool help to provide a refreshing place to spend the afternoons.
• On arrival, the room was not ready for an hour after the publicized check in of 3:00 pm. The rooms carpet had an odor of wet carpet. Phone didn't work.

“The room smelled when we first arrived and unpacked. Attributed to the carpet being wet. Phone didn't work while we were there. The only person who tried to help was a young man who tried everything to make it right, from deodorizing the carpet to working on the phones. Check-in time was missed by 1 hour without apology for the wait. The hotel was nice enough.”

• Room was spacious, has mini-fridge, sink, & micro. There was an eating area.

“The hotel is easy to find, not too far from the causeway, and close to everything. The lobby and the rooms are very attractive and well maintained. There's even a computer, with internet access, for guests to use at the main entrance. I really liked that the rooms are spacious, there's a microwave, a mini-fridge, a sink, and an eating area in the room.”

• Nice swimming pool.
• Bathrooms.

“There is no counter space to do your make up on in the bathroom. The toilet handle was so loose it was hard for the kids to flush. The floors were very slippery. But the pool was great.”

“I paid for a double queen bed but I got a king size and we were five at the hotel and I paid 16$ for each and they did not even gave us a extra bed (when I went to the lobby they gave me a pillow and a towel to sleep with in the floor) so I had to go to Wal-Mart and buy a sleeping bag.”

• The room was inadequate for the price. The sliding closet doors were falling and the shower was terrible.

• The location is very close to beach, bars and restaurants.
• Could tell it was a spring break place, dents in doors, burn holes in curtains.

• Big Rooms, close to beach, safe.
• Linens - seriously. The sheets and the towels looked 20 years old.

“Most everything was what you could expect - nice room, all great- except the towels and linens were very worn and used. They were clean, I guess, but the sheets were so washed that they had "runs" in them and you could see right through! Everything else was great, we just wished we brought our own sheets and towels.”

• We could see the bay from our balcony and it was large and very comfortable.
• I really wished the counter help were more friendly.

• Big room
• Big roach in room

“Overall the hotel was a great place to stay. The room was really big and clean. There was a big roach loose in the room but we killed it. We got the room for a good price as well. Would stay again.”
