• The waffels were hot.
• They left the door unlocked after cleaning the room.

“It would have been worth that if the room was secure and clean. We left for the day and upon return the door was partially open upon arrival. Although the computer and money was not stolen but it made us feel unsafe.”

• Breakfast was decent. Nice hot tub and good location.

“Very good hotel for the money when you take into consideration you get breakfast and it was over the holiday break. Also, it is only 2-3 blocks to the beach. Would definitely stay here again.”

“This hotel was not within the walking distance of the beach, unless you want to walk several city blocks to get to the beach. It was an older hotel.”

• Staff was overwhelmed and understaffed.

“I stayed dury spring break so it was noisy and busy, I was fine with that but with a large crowd one would think you would staff accordingly. I also felt like I spent was too much for this room seeing three other comparable hotels for about 1/2 the price and in a better location. I also past the hotel twice it is very poorly marked. On checkout I waited in the lobby for 45 min. Do to one person on duty to check the rooms for damage. Lastly the tub in the bathroom was nasty, dirty.”

• It was close to the beachfront, approx. two blocks.
• The hotel room had bugs. My 4 month olds play pin had 10-15 sm. roaches and they were crawling all over the walls. I was extremely displeased!

“I wouldn't recommend the Ramada Limited because it was just that limited. There was no kind of courtesy extended to my family when we got to the hotel one evening to find our room full of roaches. My 4mo. old granddaughters play pin had 10-15 bugs in it not to mention the ones crawling all over the walls. I was extremely upset with the lack of concern management showed regarding this situation.”

• Wireless access, decent location, large room size.
• Small pool, ugly decor, a bit run-down feeling.

“The hotel served its purpose, but I certainly wouldn't want to spend much more time than necessary in my room. The place felt a bit run-down and outdated. The pool and breakfast area were tiny and the general decor of the hotel was just ugly. The room did have all of the features that I needed. I appreciated free in-room wireless access, and the hotel room felt quite large and spacious. I've definitely stayed at much better hotels for the price, but considering the location, I guess it was an ok deal deal.”

• Broken bath room leaking pipes paint patches on the wall poor carpet padding.

• The staff was very nice and professional. Continental breakfast was great!
• The room smelled and the pool was noisy because of some generator.

“This hotel did not meet my expectations for the amount of money that I paid. The hotel should have cost me 1/2 of what I paid. It's not beachside so you have to drive to the beach and the best restaurant is across the 5 lane street.”

• Odd smell to the room (we already asked to change once).
• Dust hanging from the ceiling, noise of the mini refrigerator.

“The staff was friendly and efficient. I was surprised that they did not know what documents were needed to go to Mexico, given the proximity to the border and the likelihood that many guests would be going there. The location was all right if you did not mind walking a distance to the beach. The rooms could have been a lot cleaner. The gobs of dust hanging from the ceiling over the bed and the odd smell of the rooms were real turn offs.”

• The breakfast was good and the rooms were clean. It had a frig and microwave.
• It is too far from the beach, and looks very run down. The pool is too small.

“The price you have to pay for the poor quality is ridiculous. The hotel is too far from the beach, and you have to cross a really busy road if you want to walk to the beach. The continental breakfast was good. It had really good hot waffles made fresh every morning. The rooms were clean, but were really old and ugly. It does have a frig and microwave which comes in handy. This would be a pretty good hotel if you are not planning to stay at the room very much. It serves its purpose for just a place to sleep. I don't think it is worth any more than $70 a night, and they charge well over that.”

• The air conditioning was outstanding in this hotel. This is very important given the hot and humid conditions of this location.

“The hotel has very clean rooms and provides an excellent air conditioner. The location is very near (within walking distance) from the Padre Island beach. The continental breakfast was good and is complimentary with the room charge.”
