• Great complimentary breakfast.
• Had to leave (in light rain) our building to get to breakfast.

“Comfy bed, and it wasn't burdened with a big, stiff quilted bedspread that would get kicked off during the night and lay in wait to trip me in the morning.”

• Ice machine broke and had to go to other building.

“Very clean motel. Lobby closed in the evening. Staff was friendly. Ice machine was broke and required going to another building to get it. Breakfast was better than continental. Quiet motel.”

• They chose a type of room - doubles without consulting me, yet claim to meet everyone's need.

“It's okay - but they aren't flexible on room type. They wanted to charge me more for a king - I'm a large man and doubles are too small.”

• Not a thing.
• I don't like being treated like a second class citizen and called a liar.

“I was charged $75 for having a pet in my room. I don't even own a pet nor did I have any visitors. Their reasoning: The pants you left in the room had pet hair on them. Not only did they not contact me about the charge or the pants, they also never offered to return my pants, even on my visits to the hotel in person to discuss the charge. My smoke alarm went off in the middle of the night for no reason and the front desk never answered the phone. I was told in a letter of the pants, but they were described as blue when in fact they were obviously Black.”

• It was 100% non-smoking!
• The lobby was in a different building, and the weather was a little cold. So going to the vending machines and lobby was inconvenient.

• The mattresses and bed linens are 3+ star quality.
• Nothing can be said, it is a very good value and the people are great.

• It was attractive both inside and out, and an excellent value for the price we paid. The staff member who checked us in was pleasant and courteous.
• I can't think of anything.

“I would highly recommend a stay a the Fairfield Inn, Wichita. The room was comfortable, attractive, and very clean. Our request at check-in to switch to a room with a king sized bed was taken care of with no problem. The view from our window was of the outdoor pool and courtyard, which was well taken care of. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would love to go there again. We felt we got a wonderful value for the price we paid.”

• The hotel staff went out of their way to assist us.
• The security doors made it more of a hassle to get into the hotel, but it was for safety.

• Only route to lobby was walking outside and no elevators.

“The staff was friendly and the room was clean. I prefer motels with indoor pools or at least a hot tub. This motel had neither. You could go to the YMCA with your room card, but very inconvenient. The continental breakfast was to include the Belgian waffle. Their delivery truck did not show, so they had no waffle batter, guess the chain doesn't allow purchases other than the deliveries, little disappointed in not having the waffles. Otherwise, the various cereals and breakfast rolls and Danish were fresh and tasty. Coffee was great.”

• Very busy morning for only one person at the desk and many breakfast eaters.

“This location fit our travel needs. Clean comfortable room. Great selection for the morning 'continental' breakfast waffles, fresh fruit, pastries, cereal, hot and cold, toast, bagels, fruit juices and milk.”

• No service at front desk, always had to wait for someone to come to help me.

• The bed were wonderful, pillow tops! The free breakfast was wonderful!
• It was at the edge of town, pretty far away from everything.

“The hotel had recently been remodeled, and it showed. The rooms were very modern and up to date, and the pillow-top beds were wonderful, so comfortable. The hotel was on the east edge of Wichita, so it was not really close to anything.”

• The room decor and especially the bed linens were a real cut above. Beautiful and luxurious like a friend's guest room.
• Nothing caused any disappointment.

• The hotel to me was better than star level I paid for. It has just been updated and looks and feels brand new.

• The receptionist at the front desk remembered me from my last stay at the hotel.
• The cleanliness of the rooms had declined.

“The hotel staff was courteous and friendly. The staff worked with the customers as best they could considering the hotel was remodeling. The parking was limited, but it was also due to the remodeling project. I was a little disappointed in the cleanliness of the rooms...they weren't as clean as they had been in the past.”

“With it's location on the East side of Wichita it is truly more convenient because of the streets. You can get to any major store, restaurant, etc. with easy access. No road repair, quiet neighborhood, and easy accessibility to their parking area.”
