• The rooms were updated, clean, casual contemporary. No smoking!
• The hallways need to be updated to match the room interiors.

“Check in was fast and courteous. Our party asked three rooms for a night. The lobby was old, world grand style, which was lovely. The rooms were newly appointed and clean. Nice flat screen TV in the room. I do wish that a mini fridge would be available in all rooms. One party had one and the other two not. The beds were comfortable and the in-room amenities were nice. We ate at the breakfast buffet in the AM. They offered an made to order egg station, omelets, waffle station amid the other usual suspects of continental food, bacon, potatoes, etc. Check out was quick and easy.”

• Nice, clean hotel with comfortable beds.
• We had a terrible view. We overlooked the roof of air conditioners.

“Nice hotel with attractive lobby, on-site dining, comfortable beds, and clean rooms. It is surprising that there is not wireless internet service available in the rooms. However, they do provide an access cord. In this hotel geared towards business customers it is also surprising that there is a charge to use the internet service in your room.”

“It was very pleasing to pull up to this hotel after driving for 16 hours. It really was very nice and we slept great along with our kids. The staff was very helpful and kind.”

• The public areas were very attractive.
• Housekeeping was lax in restocking room.

“Hotel was inviting. Bar and restaurant employees were very friendly. Room was comfortable although not very private. There is a lot of space under the doors so I could hear everything in the hallway and in the room next to me because there was an adjoining door. Housekeeping was not bad but made some errors restocking room supplies. I was surprised that a seemingly upscale hotel did not have a fridge.”

• Their remodeling of the rooms and non smoking, all of the hotel was a plus.
• Staff was rude. That I should be grateful I was there.

“I was not happy with the fact that the breakfast buffet wasn't a part of the price. I had stayed in Take hotel a few years ago and you got the breakfast with the price. They should have some kind of breakfast for the guest if they can't eat the buffet. I wasn't very happy about that and when I stoke to the front desk, this man was very rude about it.”

• Pool area was very nice.
• Room was extremely musty smelling, leaving us all with sore throats in the morning.

“Overall a good place to stay not very satisfied with the quality of room though. The rooms were very musty and smelled of mold/mildew. Not a comfortable environment to sleep in, we all woke up with sore throats and stuffy noses.”

• Rooms were very nice and comfortable. I would stay again.
• Walls were very thin so I could hear everything in the halls and from the rooms next door.

“Very nice, clean hotel. If your looking for a quite spot I would not recommend it. Staff was very friendly and my room was attractive and comfortable.”

• The kids loved the indoor/outdoor pool.
• Having to pay a fee for wireless internet.

“The hotel is really nice and exceeded my expectations for the 3 star level it was given. The rooms were nice (flat screen TV's), the staff was helpful, the pool was nice, and so were the restaurants. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.”

• I called ahead to request a crib and refrigerator and when we checked in and immediately went to the room everything was already there!
• The staff was not helpful with giving info for fireworks shows that evening (4th of July).

“Excellent hotel. Would stay there again in a heart beat! Traveled with 2 children under 5 and all amenities for them were great! Highly recommend!”

• Rooms smell like smoke.

“Rooms smelled like smoke even after remodel. Bathrooms were the worst. Air vent was never cleaned. Terrible service. We called front desk 2-3 times as people were too loud in presidential suite on our floor. Nobody said they were sorry to us and even though we left few messages we never heard from the management of the hotel. We will never stay in Marriott Wichita again.”

“I've stayed in several Wichita hotels and this is now my favorite. I couldn't have asked for a better stay; everything from the rooms to the staff and the public areas, it was top notch. Will certainly return.”

• Had to pay for internet.

“Great hotel, very clean and nice size rooms. Beds are really soft! Area has a lot of construction and not a lot of restaurants in area. They had a mall with Penny's and tow other stores that were it. No large malls with in approx 10 miles. Lots of car lots.”

• The room was large with a nice bed.
• Due to the industrial park and the one way streets where this hotel is located, it's not the easiest to get in and out of.

“I'm surprised a place like a Marriott would still charge $9.95 for internet and not even have a free breakfast like so many of the lower cost hotels do. They have a computer in the lobby, but it was to only check airlines.”

• Difficult to reach from main streets.

“OK for business. Not so much leisure. Public areas are clean and well maintained. King room seemed small and cramped. Restaurant was nice with good selections of fare. Reasonably priced and a decent value.”

• Double charged me on bill I didn't owe. Didn't correct properly.

“Overall a great place to stay. However, when I checked out there was a restaurant charge to my room that wasn't mine. Told me they fixed it, instead when I got home, not only was it not credited but was charged again! Not happy about that!”

• The room was great. Loved everything about it.
• No candy vending on the floor we were on.

“The room had a very comfortable bed. The bathroom had a headlamp in the ceiling which was a nice feature. The bathtub was very deep. Room service was prompt and courteous and the restaurant food was delicious.”

• Luxurious bedding, on demand TV services.
• Indoor pool shared with outdoor pool so water was cold.

“Hotel itself was beautiful - the best place I have stayed in Wichita (and I've seen a lot). Room was clean and comfortable - bedding was wonderful. Loved the, just missed TV, feature that allowed me (for a fee) to watch a show that I had missed during travel - nice feature for the frequent traveler. All restaurants were good - especially enjoyed the sports bar. Only complaint (besides rude staff at check-in) was that the indoor pool is actually an indoor/outdoor pool and since it was cool outside, the water inside wasn't much warmer. Other guests were therefore using the hot tub as a wading pool and with no staff around to tell them not to the adult guests weren't able to use the hot tub.”

• Access from the interstate can be confusing. Not smoker-friendly.

• Pool was being repaired, but passes were available to the YMCA.

“I have stayed here twice, and both times the pool was under repair. The YMCA is close and arrangements were made for use of their pool. The facility is very attractive and clean, and I would/will stay there again.”

“The only down fall of this hotel was no wireless internet in the rooms. Our A/C did not work but they came in and fixed it with in 2 hours. Everything else was really nice.”
