• Good downtown location.
• Over priced.

“The Worthington has a good downtown location but is a little costly . The rooms are basic although nice. When making reservations they do not reserve king size beds, it is first come first serve upon check in. This left me and my husband with two double beds. This made for a very unhappy husband and two adults sleeping in a double bed.”

• Very convenient location for downtown Fort Worth venues and restaurants.
• The bar area was a little boring.

“Very nice rooms and the staff was great. Other guests were in the hallway partying and making noise late at night and the security took care of the situation immediately. They kicked one guy out for not calming down and they immediately moved us to a nicer room on a different floor and comped our breakfast.”

• Locality was excellent for first time travelers to location.

“Hotel did not have the requested king bed room. I was given a double bed room. Despite of been a very good room, it was not to my expectations since I was celebrating my wedding anniversary.”

• Our room was neat, clean, and cool. The carpets were clean and very pretty especially in the hallways. I enjoyed the western theme.
• Valet parking area at the entrance could have been cleaner.

“My wife and I enjoyed this hotel very much. The hotel is romantic, but a good place to take kids, also. It is in good location-lots of restaurants nearby. Our room was clean, neat, and cool with just enough of a touch of the "old West". We had breakfast in the hotel restaurant and it was a lovely buffet. The valets were efficient and pleasant. We would definitely stay there again.”

• Helpful staff, great location downtown and great amenities.
• Valet was $19 and movies avg $14.

“We stayed here to be close to a wedding. Upon arrival we were able to grab a quick bite to eat at one of the many shops and restaurants that are within a couple blocks. He, forgot shaving cream and the hotel front desk gave us some, I love nice toiletries at hotels and they had a great variety. When we came back from the wedding the hotel bar was very crowded and we had a cocktail and then enjoyed a $14 movie in our room. Overall great place. Beware of the expensive movies and valet.”

• Within walking distance to all downtown activities. Just three blocks from Trinity River running trails!
• Although the guest room was very nice, the beds were creaky and the pillows not too comfy.

“A very upscale feel - beautiful decor and very friendly staff! We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go in the downtown Ft. Worth area - very convenient! And the Trinity River running trails were just three blocks away - a great place to work in the exercise routine. Overall, it was a great hotel stay, and I would highly recommend it to friends and family!”

• I liked the location and the view of the room.
• The parking.

“The hotel was great. The room and swimming pool are nice. The view and location are very nice. They do not offer free parking. You must pay $19.50 plus tip for the valet parking per night or find a place to park on the busy streets. The valet parking line at 5:00 pm had nearly 50 people in line.”

• Beautiful Hotel. Close to everything.
• Room was hot, AC said 64, but it was about 74. Valet was $40 for the weekend. In order to park you have to check in first to get a key for parking.

“We had a wonderful stay. 1 night was a little hot, the AC wasn't cooling enough. The beds were so soft with down under the sheet, as the comforter and the pillows. It was probably the down that made it so hot at night. We would stay again, but probably book through the Hotel to secure the King bed. 11 Year Anniversary.”

• In room breakfast was cold and incorrect. 10 dollar a day wireless-ridiculous.

“We ordered room service breakfast, the order was wrong and it was cold. It just wasn't the level of service in a hotel with that many stars that you would expect. Parking was down the street and difficult, you pretty much had to Valet. And 10.00 a day for wireless is ridiculous in 2007 at a supposedly luxury hotel. We felt nickel and dimmed to death. We would not stay there again.”

• Non-functional air conditioner--glad it was not July.

“We enjoyed our stay during the tscra conference; however, the air conditioner in our room seemed to be non-functional. We called to report this after the first restless night, but it never got any better. Also had problems with the toilet functioning. This was repaired thank goodness.”

“The external appearance and service is fantastic. The little details are what is holding it back from being a great hotel overall. I was surprised to have to pay for parking. The coffee maker didn't have the correct sized carafe. The coffee was ok and the bathroom products were sup-par for the level of quality this hotel is trying to show.”

• Location was perfect - right in the middle of Sundance Square. The rooms were spacious and beautiful.
• There was a band playing on the roof top directly across from our room so we heard that music all night. Luckily we were up late anyways.

“I really enjoyed the Renaissance Fort Worth. Anything you could ever need/want is at your fingertips. Whether it's within walking distance or just a phone call away, you will not want for a thing while staying at this hotel. I would definitely go back.”

“The hotel is clean and well kept. Rooms are not very sound proof and I was disappointed not to have breakfast included in the price. The location is central, so convenient to most places. The restaurant is good!”

“It's a 4 star hotel with nice, big luxurious rooms. We were on the 12th floor with a great view of Sundance Square. Unfortunately we were only there for 12 hours. Everything was top drawer.”

“We had a fantastic time at the Worthington. All staff members we encountered were extremely courteous and professional. We parked our car and did not get in again until we left. We were able to enjoy the Renata, Barnes and Noble, and the movie theater within close walking distance.”

• Because of design, only one set of elevators to access our room.

• This was a beautiful hotel, and the location was great! The staff was very helpful and really made our stay enjoyable.
• The only problem we had was with a valet parking guy who acted like we were trying to steal someone else's car, which of course we weren't!

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone! It was absolutely beautiful and so clean! The location was wonderful--right at the edge of Sundance Square in downtown Fort Worth. The hotel staff was so gracious. We really enjoyed our stay!”

“We have stayed at this fine hotel numerous times, but never at this great rate. You were wonderful to afford us this experience. As I noted before the airconditioner item is the first and only problem we have ever had here that was not rectified perfectly, immediately. If they had just informed us as to the problem, that would have been understandable. For this price I would always choose this hotel when staying in Ft. Worth; it is such an experience in downtown Ft. Worth - king of cow country.”

• I was impressed with how clean the room were
• The parking garage seemed to be a long walk, even though, the garage was attached to the hotel and your walk was inside the hotel.

“This hotel was very impressive and reflected the theme and the heart of downtown Fort Worth. The decor and furnishing were done in an upscale western theme and put you in the mood to visit the sites of Fort Worth. The hotel lobby and rooms were A+ clean and had all the amenities you could want. You were in the heart of Sundance Square and in walking distance of great eating and shopping.”

“The Worthington is beautiful and the staff was very pleasant - from the desk help to the maids. They were all very friendly. The room was clean, comfortable and pretty. The only thing I would have changed was the temperature of the conference rooms. It was so cold that I carried a sweater with me at all times. Better cold than hot, however, so that's a small thing.”
