• I liked the full kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge and dishes.
• I had a smoking room (I'm non-smoker) but when I got home all my clothes smelled like smoke.

• Nothing! It was disgusting!
• See review or you regret it!

“This was the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. There was a week old food container (with rotten food) inside the room on check in. The clerk gave us a key to the room with out asking us for ID, people were smoking marijuana outside our room at night. They only clean the rooms once a week if you stay for at least 7 days, otherwise you have to bring your dirty towels to the desk to get clean linens. I was extremely disappointed and felt unsafe during this stay!”

• Homewood Suites probably should have its own category.

• It was very cheap and quiet.
• The carpet was full of dust. I kept sneezing all the time.

• Very convenient to the Ft. Worth cultural district.
• Lot of money for a standard room that seemed quite small.

“First the agent put us into a smoking room - I about gagged. She did move us as she had one available, but it is always first come, first served. I like non-smoking enough to pay for it - I did not find that option available to me.”

• It was still standing.
• The rooms were too small and the heater did not work properly.

“The hotel was clean but it had no public areas whatsoever. When we arrived at 1:00 a.m. there was no one in the office and it was locked. It took approximately 20 minutes to locate an employee on the premises. Then, it turned out that the rooms which they had held had only one bed and we had two people planning to stay in each one. It took another hour to straighten this out and we ended up having to add another room and pay for it. By then it was after 2:00 a.m. and the group of us were exhausted. There was no shampoo and there were no hairdryers, which was a problem the following morning. The staff were nice kids, but they were just untrained kids trying to run a hotel.”

• Very good location for where we wanted to be.
• Although I asked for a hotel for 2 adults and one kid, it only had one bed.

“We were 2 adults and one kid. We did not care for the kitchenette which I'm sure is perfect for business travelers or people who want to stay more than one night. The room only had one double bed which made it an uncomfortable arrangement.”

• Convenient location but not located in Selected Area.
• Extended stay hotel, didn't have ANY perks, and had to pay extra for Internet connection.

“This should be a level 2 hotel at best. They don't even make the beds or provide towel service without being asked. I requested a Downtown hotel and was NOT near the Downtown. Had to use my car to get Downtown and it was a 10-15 min. drive. Public Transportation not adequate for getting around.”

• They gave us a smoking room even though we requested non smoking.

“Very small room. Smoking room was big problem for us. It stunk and messed up my clothes! Also, had to ask for shampoo, and found no wash clothes in bathroom. It was clean and fairly new. Office workers were nice, but could not offer non smoking room because she said they were full. Bad experience overall!”

• The location was great, for our trip. I was not expecting the outside entry, but that was good for not disturbing others.
• They did not have any vending; the only vending I could find was empty.

“The staff was friendly, but be aware of the hours of operation. The room was nice, a little more then what we needed, but comfortable. We really liked being close to a wells Fargo, several 24 hour restaurants & only a block away from university drive. I would recommend this hotel to people and hope to stay again for our next visit.”

• Rooms were a bit small.

“The hotel was clean, modern and worth what I paid. A great value and although the rooms are quite small, they are very functional. I felt safe and secure, even though the hotel has exterior corridors. I highly recommend this hotel for visitors to Ft. Worth.”

• Very clean room. Very nice staff.
• Very small room. Bathroom larger, though, than some three-star places.

“We were pleasantly surprised with this motel. The room was newly painted and very clean with a clean smell. It was indeed a non-smoking room. It was quiet. We did not know ahead of time that this particular place also contained a kitchenette. The microwave, although small, worked better than our large one at home! We actually were in town on business, my husband and I. Turned out this was right down the street from our business destination!”

• The hotel attendant was smiley and friendly.
• There wasn't anything to speak of.

“I was impressed it was clean neat and since I got lost on the way and spoke to hotel attendant before I got there she gave me directions I made it to the hotel and she was so very friendly, I just love to see that when I travel because I do often and since we got there late and left early that is really the only experience we had.”

• Proximity to destination and enough restaurants around.
• A non smoking room full of smoke. Requested additional bedding, did not receive at all.

“The service at the front desk was friendly, but not accommodating. Asked for extra bedding and was told would be sent right up, but for two night stays nothing was received. The non-smoking room was full of smoke and the sheets were dirty¿”

• It was cheap and close to the wedding I was in.
• It was very small.

“Overall, it was a descent hotel for the price and location; however, it was very small and just did not have a very "clean" feeling. The hotel could not accommodate my needs for double beds, non-smoking, or even a trundle. Another inconvenience is their offices close at midnight and when we got back to the hotel we needed extra blankets and got a recording. I did need cheap for this last weekend, and I guess I got what I paid for.”

• The front desk clerk was very nice.
• There was poop in the commode!

“The bathroom was dirty! There was unlashed poop in the commode! The room did have dishes available but I was unsure if they were clean after the bathroom being dirty. The front desk clerk had just been yelled at by another guest and was still professional and courteous to me and my girls. Very impressive of that young girl. Shows maturity I don't always see. The room was little cramped, very little walking space.”

“The hotel was not very full that evening but the hotel put me up in a second story room in the corner. There were comments made by clerks that indicated that there were rooms of a lesser standard that were reserved for clients booking their room the way I did. I was very disappointed and actually left the hotel much earlier than I planned because of the level of dies-comfort I experienced.”

• The reviews I read were terrible but it was nothing like the reviews.
• Would have liked them to offer more towels and washcloths with a 2 day stay.

“Good hotel, not romantic, ok if you just need a place to stay and a kitchen. Has a really cool and nice bar like table with 2 chairs for eating at. That was nice along with microwave and a burner for cooking.”

“Small rooms but workable. Staff was attentive to needs. Room was clean but had items left from previous tenant. Housekeeping came in without knocking. Overall stay was fine, housekeeping just needs work in order to stay on top of things.”

• There is nothing good about his hotel. Roaches, Bedbugs, and thin walls.
• This was the worst two nights of my life. I woke up with a roach on my face. Nothing else needs to be said.

“They need to work on a fool proof system to avoid giving someone a key to an occupied room. They need new pillows and AC with different fan speeds. On the other hand it was very clean and that is important.”

• The location was excellent close to lots of attractions.
• It was nothing like the homestead website said it should be.

“Although we enjoyed our stay at this hotel there were several things that I did not like about this hotel when we arrived they first put us in a very small room that smelt very bad and had not been cleaned at all we told the staff they put us in a much nicer larger room but we then discovered that there was no cook ware like there was supposed to be no work station as described on the hotel website and also they were supposed to provide a wireless Internet card if you did not have one but they did not a section of the carpet from the wall to the mid section of the floor was wet the whole stay but other than that the stay was okay.”

• Very simple with no billing , but very clean and neat. Very kept up.
• No shampoo or hairdryer.

“The rooms and the grounds were very well kept up and the staff friendly I thought. Though the room was small and there were no extra little perks, (the coffee was good), it was very clean. And it really made the small stay I had very nice. I thought it very well done for being so little in the room. But it had everything one could want as far as the kitchen and amenities went.”

• Clean and good location.
• Not a full service (2 star) hotel in my opinion.

“The last two times I have been to the hotel Homestead Suites as a "2 Star" property... Homestead does not clean the rooms daily and they do not offer breakfast service and I do not understand how you rate them a 2 star hotel... I paid $50 per night plus your fee and could have gotten a better hotel room for less...”

• Some of the rooms do not even have a tub, and the shower floor is shared.
