• Great breakfast buffet. Comfortable bed.
• Exorbitant non-refundable pet fee.

“The hotel room was pleasant and attractive. The staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet was fantastic, Unfortunately we made the reservation without remembering the dog, which we ended up putting in a kennel as a cheaper alternative for the duration of our visit. The location was a little noisy, just off I-35, but it was also convenient to restaurants and shopping. All in all a very good value and a place I would visit again.”

• Sitting area and a full kitchen.
• Old property, bad TV reception, breakfast and hospitality food, much worse than other Residence Inns.

“What I didn't like: Poor room layout. Very bad TV reception. No place to sit at breakfast and evening reception (dining room small and cramped). Tiny bathroom. The breakfast was a little better than a standard hotel continental breakfast but the eggs were dry and there wasn't much to choose from (compared to other Residence Inns). This is an old facility that needs an update. It is generally not up to the standards of other Residence Inns I've stayed at. What I liked: Full kitchen. The staff tried to help with the TV but were unable to.”

• It was easy on and off of the interstate highway.

“Excellent place to stay for a family or group of friends. Room larger then expected with a lot of nice touches, like popcorn if you wanted to microwave it for a snack.”

• The driver and the lady who was at the front desk when I arrived were great.
• You can hear the slamming of the drawers and doors in the surrounding rooms. It was too noisy.

“As far as eye appeal, the room and lobby was nice. As far as sleeping peacefully, that was a task. You can hear people when they come in at night. You can hear the doors and drawers being shut and you can hear the TV/music from the surrounding rooms. The saddest part is that when you call the front desk for assistance, they look up the people in the rooms surrounding yours and insist that it can't be certain people because they are long term residents which absolutely makes no sense. It's no secret people who live in apartments or houses have problems with their neighbors and I've never heard of a case where security or police say via phone well it can't be them because they have lived there for 15 years.”

• Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, staff very friendly.
• Breakfast bar was not replenished often enough to accommodate hotel guests.

• Great comp breakfast / lots of pillows.
• Left note that bulb overhead of desk was out / still out.

“Bathroom door not up to code. Only 24 inches wide. Need a chair near the mirror for hair curling! Tight walk around the queen bed otherwise, all was very good complimentary breakfast was very good / lots of choices last thanksgiving our plans didn't work out to go down, but it would have been perfect having the full kitchen so I could prepare a turkey dinner for our son in graduate school.”

“Location near major highways, with in minutes restaurants. Downtown o.k. and other attritions 15-20 minutes away. The room was quit and for the most part clean. Quick check-in and check-out. Complimentary breakfast was fresh & hot, but nothing spectacular.”

• They had a free excellent breakfast buffet.
• I brought no laptop and they did not have an available computer on site to use.

“We enjoyed our stay very much. This hotel is set up like apartments, so there is not much of a chance of being disturbed by people running the hallways. We will return to this hotel in the future.”

• The fireplace, kitchen and accessories and the overall layout - excellent!
• No conditioner and the shampoo and soap were not that great.

“We were scheduled for two nights but the front desk man said we were down for one night. Not very accommodating. Everything was resolved once we made the phone call to it. Other than that, the hotel experience was by far the best one yet. I loved the fact that it felt like home. Very pleased!”

• Plenty of space to move around, and nice pillows and comfortable bed.
• Everything seemed satisfactory, but we only stayed one night.

“My husband and I enjoyed the hotel. It was nicer than I expected for a 2.5 star facility. We liked that it wasn't crowded and it was nice to have a kitchen and small living area. We didn't get to explore too much of the hotel because we only stayed over one night. My husband was very impressed with the continental breakfast. We slept very well and wished we could have stayed longer. We would certainly return if the opportunity arises and recommend the hotel to others.”

• The ambiance of the room, comfort, size, amenities.
• Noise from the road from heavy trucks all night long.

“This is a great hotel but do not take a room near the I35. The road traffic kept me awake half the night. Also, although the rooms are supposed to be non smoking, I changed rooms at first because of the smoke in the room.”

• The space was amazing and the full kitchen was a major plus.
• Enjoyed everything.

“Residence Inn is very clean, and extremely accommodating for the person traveling with a family. The full kitchen allows you to cook to cut traveling expenses. The service, especially the full breakfast was great. We plan to stay here every time we travel to this area. A+ place!”

• Floors are wood so upstairs is the preferred room.

“Quiet with plenty of room. Separate work area with Internet access nice. Clean. Floors are wood so if you are downstairs you hear the upstairs walking. Plenty of space in the room.”

• Attentive staff and wonderful breakfast.
• Had to change rooms because there was a large disgusting stain on the curtains.

“The Residence Inn is a great place to stay for business or leisure. It has a great staff and large rooms. If you have a problem with your room they are very quick to fix it. It also great for a family get-a-way. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.”

• Cleanliness was poor. Hair in drawers, on bathroom floor, and on vanity top.

“This hotel would have been very satisfactory had my first experience not been of seeing hair on the vanity, and then when opening drawers in vanity seeing hair both long and short, like perhaps from a razor. Then behind the door of the toilet or bathtub area, there was dirt and hair that had not been swept. It made me skeptical as to how clean the rest of the room might be. I will be staying at the La Quinta on any future travels to Norman.”

“This was a great family hotel. The room was very large with nice kitchen facilities, TV, high speed internet, even snacks left in the room (a big hit with the kids). A free hot breakfast added a nice value (breakfast for the entire family can add up).”

• Close to hospital I work at.
• It did not compare to what I feel other Residence Inn's should be. The room was stinky.

“I feel that the hotel was clean for what I paid for it but it did not compare at all to what I feel Residence Inn across America should be. I have stayed at other Residence Inn and Marriott's and this by far was the worst.”
