• Friendly staff, location, pool and comfortable bed.
• No work out room.

“Clean, conveniently located hotel with friendly staff. Small but nice pool and hot tub. A good, simple breakfast is included. Missed a work out room but in a safe area to walk or run.”

• Clean, safe and close to OU with an indoor pool.
• Small common area, small, shallow pool.

“Good beds, very busy (sold out), overall a nice hotel in a great location in Norman. The hotel was clean and although the pool was small it was clean with plenty of towels. The desk clerk was still polite and professional even though she was extremely busy.”

• Appeared to be recently remodeled.
• One ice machine on 1st floor.

“I have stayed at this Fairfield several times in the past. Remodel nicely done. Loved the new linens and extra pillows on the bed. Very relaxing place to stay except for having to go from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor for ice.”

• Great location, very large, well-lit rooms!
• Had every TV channel known to man, but no HBO!

“Well situated near the highway, University of Oklahoma, and Oklahoma City business. Many restaurants and services within walking distance. Great rooms!”

• Front desk staff member.

“The location was great and the hotel seemed clean, but I had called two times prior to my trip to confirm a non smoking room. When I arrived I was placed in a smoking room. They were not able to move me because they had no more non smoking rooms available. The woman at the front desk was extremely rude and accused me of lying. Finally, after speaking to a manager, I was moved to another hotel close by. It was a one hour hassle, argument.”

• It was close to the highway.
• Our was not ready at 3:30pm when we tried to check in and the staff was very rude about it.

“We were in Norman for a wedding. Our flight was delayed and we were about an hour late in landing. We did not get to the hotel until 3:30. Upon arrival, we were told that our room was not ready and we would have to wait in the lobby for 30 minutes. We needed to be at the wedding rehearsal at 5pm. We were wanting to freshen up before the rehearsal but since we were unable to get into our room until 4pm,we were barely able to change clothes and drive to destination. When we did get in our room we were told that the drapes were faulty and needed repair. I understand things happen, staff doesn't show up, guests are late in checking out, etc. but the response that we received from the staff was horrible. I asked if we could have another room and we were offered a smoking room. The desk agent responded by saying" She is working as fast as she can!" I thought that this was very unprofessional especially coming from someone in the hospitality business. The attitude did not change on the day that we checked out. No one was at the front desk when we were trying to check out. When someone came to the front desk to help us, they handled the situation very poorly. I realize that everything was prepaid but it seemed that we were bothering them. I travel a lot in my business and I have never experienced a situation like the one we experienced in Norman. If I hadn't prepaid for the room, I would have found another place to stay. ”

“The bathroom floor was dirty, sticky counters had not been cleaned. The room had an odor. Not happy with the quality of the room or of the staff. Air conditioner worked great!”
