• AC unit was quite working.

“The place was dirty, the smell of mold inside the room. The air conditioner quits working in the middle of the night. Killed a spider on the bed. Other than that is was great!”

• Easy to find off highway, minutes from area attractions.
• Pool murky green, covered with leaves, down for maintenance. Revolting free breakfast. 1 of 3 icemakers worked.

“Motel, really minutes away from area attractions, but located in a not-so-nice area. Landscaping perfunctory. Avoid the free breakfast unless you like weak coffee, Cheerios, Day breakfast burritos and canned fruit cocktail. Our room was clean, but had no safe or fridge. Mattress was hard as a rock. Free Wi-Fi worked well. The door to our room did not lock properly, and could be forced open from outside unless dead bolted. Odd incident occurred: even with do not disturb tag on door handle, staff entered the room while we were sleeping and put extra bedding on a chair. Other than that, the staff were helpful, but their communication skills are unpolished, and most spoke only Spanish. More attention needs to be paid to maintenance of the facilities. Overall, basic accommodation, ok for students, but unsuitable for business and not remotely romantic. One star.”

• It was clean, great and we enjoyed our stay!
• Pool hours not posted and we got in trouble for being in the pool.

• The price.
• Housekeeping waking me up twice at 9 a.m.

• It was clean.
• Getting better, but still needs significant improvements.

“What did not work: the shower would have spurts of warm and cold water; it had old plumbing where if someone else would flush toilet in another room, you feel the sudden change in temp the TV would sometimes lose its picture completely; the higher the channel #, the worse the reception would get bed could be a bit cozier housekeeping came by in the morning (didnt want to be disturbed) leaking iron made a mess with clothes the free breakfast was not all that.”

• The location was perfect to everything. The furniture was lovely & the appliances-coffee pot (BIG Plus), iron hairdryer. Best free Breakfast ever (Mexican Style!)
• We have notice in the last 3Yrs to Padre. The new owners of Hotels do not care about first appearance. Bad landscaping, bad ice apple, unkempt pool, no Intne.

“My business is Pest control & let me tell you Hotels could use a good exterminator. The beach is hard to be clean but there's good products out there.”
