• The breakfast was a good value.
• The hotel had been updated, but it smelled musty. The sink had hairs in it when we checked in. One night kids were yelling and running around.

“They have attempted to make this a nice hotel. They have updated the rooms, but they did not replace room doors. The bathroom door did not shut well. We had difficulty getting hot water sometimes, and the room had a musty smell. It was not a good experience.”

“Very old and extremely tired. TV was not working properly. Bathroom caulking was dirty and coming apart. Room had an outside door that was not supposed to open from the outside, but it could have been broke into easily. Not any amenities to speak of.”

• Convenient to downtown and Edmond where family was located

“Good hotel for the price and location. Staff was friendly and accomodated requests for early check-in, extra towels etc. Bed linens were clean and room overall was clean.”

• The large room. The bed was great. We slept like babies.
• The towels did not smell clean. They had a stench odor.

“The Holiday Inn and Suites in Oklahoma City was very nice. The bed that was in our room was so very comfortable. The pillows were great too. We loved the large room that we had. The employees were so very kind. The only problem that we had with the hotel was that the towels did not smell clean.”

• Great location, easy access to most everything.
• Outside entrance doors were troubling, lack of info on breakfast problem.

“The location was great. The price was a bit much for the condition of the room. There was peeling wallpaper and older bathroom. No one informed us of any breakfast info when we checked in, so we missed a hot breakfast. Pool was nice. Bathtub and wallpaper were in need of facial upgrade.”

• The staff was wonderful. Maintenance was amazing.
• In the summer in Oklahoma the dome is hot.

“Great central location with very friendly and helpful staff. They aim please. The dome is hot in the summer, but that is to be expected. All facilities were clean and comfortable.”

• Our room was very clean, The pillows were great and we had new towels in the bathroom.
• The air conditioner was a bit loud so it woke me up every time it turned on.

“This is a great hotel for business or leisure. I'm a clean freak and this hotel was great. Our room was spotless and we had nice fluffy towels where usually they are old and worn out. The complimentary breakfast when all out, not at all like the usual. They even bring out coffee to you so we were wondering where to pay. Great place for kids too as it has a pool. We didn't try it, but it looked clean. I will definitely stay here again.”

“The hotel staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant in the hotel were great. Continental breakfast was the best I have had at any hotel. The pool was so cold the kids couldn't even swim, they played in the hot tub.”

• The center of the hotel is beautiful. Pool, Jacuzzi, bar, and restaurant. And the buffet breakfast is complimentary and delicious!
• The doors opening to the parking lot front the rooms, will not unlock with the keycard.

“Cozy, romantic, clean, family friendly, unique, and has all the little extras that we were looking for the price.”

• Our room overlooked the indoor pool.
• Maybe a bit too much chlorine in the pool.

“It's in a great location in Oklahoma City. Just a few minutes from downtown and almost anything else in the city. The beds were comfortable, the rooms clean and the pool was warm. The kids loved it! The breakfast was good and the staff friendly. The next time I go to OKC with the family, I will stay here.”

• Indoor pool, free breakfast buffet. Rooms have two doors - one to interior of hotel and one to parking. Kind of cool.
• All rooms with 2 beds were gone. Non-smoking all gone. Weren't able to fit rollaway bed in elevator for us.

“This hotel is gorgeous, with a wonderful pool and hot tub inside. Also, I loved that each room has two doors, one to the hotel's interior and one to the parking lot. It made me feel better in case of an emergency/fire.”

• Front desk staff was exceedingly helpful and positive.

“The hotel is easy to find. The rooms are all built around the indoor pool and restaurant and bar. The rooms are spacious and equipped for internet access and can be accessed from the inside atrium or the outside parking lot.”

“Have stayed at about 6 different Holiday Inn's during our summer trip but this was definitely the worst. They look like they have started a refurbishing of the rooms but have not finished. Pool very cloudy and not filtering well. Found out they had hi speed internet but you had to walk to the front desk to get a cable (they don't keep them in the rooms).”

“We liked the location and the layout of this hotel. The pool and hot tub were an important part of our plan to entertain our children, however, and both were closed for our entire stay due to chemical problems that left them unsanitary for use. Our room, although nonsmoking, smelled so strongly of smoke that we had to leave a balcony door open to avoid my son having an asthma attack. The breakfast was delicious and we found about half of the staff on duty to be very helpful. Overall, not a stellar experience -- disappointing in ways that could have been avoided.”

• Excellent service, extremely clean, layout and decor visitor friendly, delicious complimentary breakfast, hotel staff friendly and very cooperative
• Air conditioner made a high pitch whine when running. Water in pool a little to cool.

“Our stay was a pleasant change. The staff was welcoming and treated us as though they were happy to have us as guest. The facility was very clean and the decor was pleasing and relaxing. The food was generous and delicious. This felt like a secure and safe place to stay.”

• plenty of assistance and easy to get around.
• the gym was being used as a function gathering. I could've worked out in town and not planned on the hotels

“This hotel is my home away from home because I live in Duncan, Oklahoma about 90 miles from the Oklahoma City area. The Holiday Inn and Suites North has always been my favorite place to stay while I'm on a business trip which is almost weeekly. The breakfast buffet has variety of food to select from and the food is always very good. The Manager's social each Tuesday night is something I always look forward to during my stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a fair and reasonable price for the quality of room and service you receive here.”

“This is a nice facility, especially given the reasonable price. Especially convenient is that rooms have direct outside access to parking, as well as direct inside access to a nice large atrium with pool and hot tub at one end and a nice restaurant, reception area and bar at the other end. Room includes hot buffet breakfast. Not gourmet, but an excellent added value. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were very pleased with our three day stay and will be back. Recommended.”
