• Large clean bathroom in my room, large window with blackout curtains, Comfortable bed, Flat Screen TV

“Great hotel just off of the NW Expressway. Classy feel and wonderful staff. There there was a small business center and a great patio and pool area in the back. Very nice work-out facility with sauna and hot tub. My stay was flawless, with the great staff, and great room.”

• The staff was very helpful and courteous.
• The parking area was not directly accessible from the hotel door. You had to walk too far.

• The food and service in the hotel restaurant at breakfast was mediocre.

“This is a beautiful hotel. Nice pool and beautiful grounds. Made us feel we were someplace more exciting than just Oklahoma city. The staff was very nice and accommodating. I will stay here again when I am in Oklahoma.”

• Nice amenities.
• Room was too hot. Air conditioning broken. Have not yet returned security hold on debit card.

“The location is excellent. The facilities are clean. The hotel has a very decent gym, and even a racquetball court. The room was very hot and uncomfortable, however, and after calling for maintenance on the air conditioning, the condition was not remedied. Also, it has been 4 days and I still have not received my $ security hold back.”

• The hotel room was luxurious and clean. The staff was courteous and prompt.
• The parking was a little awkward, but ok.

“This hotel is located away from the hustle and bustle of a busy street, yet close to restaurants and shopping. It is very upscale and modern. The exercise facilities are nice also.”

• They did not have the room & we spent on hour waiting on another room.

“We arrived at 10:30 pm with 3 children. Could not find a place to park. Check in was easy enough, but when we got to our room, it had a king bed & a roll away. Was told by hotel desk clerk that there were no more rooms available until we asked for the manager then they just so happened to have a room with double beds. Spent an hour waiting on a roll away bed & finally at 12:30am our bed arrived. It was not a very pleasant start to our stay! Breakfast buffet was $15.00 for the same breakfast buffet at the Holiday Inn Express that is free.”

“Overall our stay was very nice but I thought the room was very small and not enough storage for clothes. Also, the linens were terrible. The sheets were not soft or comfortable. The bathroom was small and the shower did not work properly.”

• Decent location.
• Poor handling of reservations.

“They double-booked the honeymoon suite even though we had made reservations 10 months in advance and paid a deposit. Hotels that mess with people's wedding amenities are very short-sighted when it comes to business and seem willing to toss out anyone to chase a few more dollars. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone unless they had no other option and didn't plan on making reservations.”

“everything was perfect in all aspects except for one detail. A dress was forgotten in the room during checkout. When went back to retrieve it an hour later, the room was cleaned - but the dress mysteriously was never found. (room care, not trusted now) Hard to recommend a hotel with a detail such as that.”

• Location, pretty, drapes in the room.
• The staff at check in was quick to say he'd be glad to help (print my boarding pass), then proceeded to only talk about being understaffed.

“This tucked-away hotel is beautiful, located near I-44 and great shopping (Penn Square). Our stay in the well-appointed room was quiet, restful.”

“A 3-star is supposed to have High Speed Internet. The Waterford Marriott Wireless Internet was DOWN. I absolutely HAD to have it to get the work done that I needed to do. It made no difference to them that my sole purpose for being there was to use their Internet amenity. I lost a night (had to go elsewhere and pay out of my own pocket) and was, needless to say, VERY unhappy.”

• Dirty ash trays in the room, Mirror in bath was damaged and needed replaced. TV in room would not stay focused on all stations.

“Lovely hotel, but we were very disappointed in our room. For $150 plus tax, I expected a larger room, one that was clean and the bathroom mirror should have been replaced, instead it had spots behind it where the mirror part was coming off. This room felt like a half room with a connecting door to the next room. I did Like the little balcony, though. For an anniversary stay, we were very disappointed.”

• All levels of the hotel staff were always friendly and courteous.
• The outdoor pool area was not as big and extravagant as I expected.

“I really enjoyed speaking to many of the hotel staff. They always greeted me when I walked in or out of the hotel. I was very fortunate that one of the women at the front counter allowed me a check-out extension on my final day there for no extra cost. It was a busy weekend and she went out of her way to accommodate me.”

• The Staff goes above and beyond your expectations.
• The Bathrooms need updated badly.

“This was our second visit to the Waterford and like the first the best thing about the hotel is the staff. 5 star rating. The bathrooms are in need of remodeling. The restaurant, Blue Flame, is exceptional unlike the restaurant in the Hyatt in Boston I visited in March.”

• The bed was so comfortable and the down comforter was awesome.
• The price to have your food delivered to your room.

“We had excellent service at this hotel. We ordered room service and everyone was very friendly, even in making my 16-yr. old daughter feel comfortable with them. The staff gave just the right amount of attention.”

• We loved the view to downtown, the Capital, and even Penn Square.
• Since there was only the front entrance, the parking in the rear was a little inconvenient.

“We only live 130 miles from OKC, but we go there a lot just to stay the week-end. This was our first stay at the Waterford but it will not be our last. The beds were so comfortable, everything was great, honestly!”
