“I don't like the interstate so I wish it was easier to find.” Jul 6, 2009 by
Belynda from Sapulpa,OK
“This hotel is under-going some construction and has some minor inconveniences, but they made up for it by friendly, fast service. The room was nice, clean and quiet.” Jun 21, 2009 by
Krista from Bryan,TX
“This is a great hotel that has been recently remodeled. They are still trying to work out a few "kinks." For example, our room key didn't work twice during our stay, and the room was without a remote control. However, the staff quickly fixed both of these problems. It took the room awhile to cool down because we were on a side that gets a lot of sun during the day. It is a very nice hotel, though, and is worth the stay. I feel that, over time, the "kinks" will be smoothed out.” Jun 2, 2009 by
Clint from Fletcher,OK
“The hotel is nice. Overall not bad. The head board fell on my partner during our stay. We were moved to another room. They gave us some free meals for our trouble.” Mar 26, 2009 by
Nedra from Sachsec,TX
“Lovely building, very comfortable room. I was very disappointed in that my room service breakfast never arrived. I had to leave for my meeting and the staff packed me a to-go bag, but that was less than the professional image I needed to convey.” Nov 25, 2008 by
Jamie from Elk City,OK
“We were very disappointed. When we told the employee at the front desk the problems we had with our room, she seemed disinterested and didn't even offer an apology.” Nov 22, 2008 by
Lisa from Brentwood,TN
“The room had been recently renovated and for the most part was very nice - granite sink and shower, cathedral ceiling, nice bedding. However, the closet door was missing. Also, there was only one sink with a very long vanity and the bathroom was extremely small. There really was hardly any room for the commode in the bathroom - it was up against the shower and don't sit before you close the door or you won't be able to close it.” Nov 11, 2008 by
Kelsey from Oklahoma City,OK
“The staff is very sweet and the restaurant was very nice with great food. Our waiter for breakfast gave us GREAT service. I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

“Hotel was being renovated but will be nice when finished. Great experience - will stay again.” Sep 25, 2008 by
Sam
“This hotel is under renovation. The room we stayed in was clean and roomy. We were given a king-sized bed with plenty of pillows. The free wireless internet access worked great. There remains some construction, which makes the place feel a bit busy. I would return here again.” Sep 17, 2008 by
Lindsay
“This hotel isn't bad, but I would definitely not Sep 14, 2008 by
Rhonda from Bartlesville, OK
“This hotel was fine. It wasn't fantastic, and it wasn't a 3-star hotel. There are a lot of renovations going on. We listened to a jack hammer at 9:00 in the evening. Then, someone knocked on our door at 9:30 p.m. to let us know that they would be making some noise while they did routine maintenance. Really? More than the jackhammer? Since we have very young kids that were trying to sleep, we were annoyed. Liked the sleep extras and the rooms were very new. We had a cricket in our bed, however and some bugs in the shower that I removed before stepping in. I think this was because our room was near to poolside, and the door faced outside. Overall, not terrible, but the noise and the bugs really turned us off.” Sep 14, 2008 by
Monroe from Parker, CO
“This is an older hotel that was previously a Hilton. The remodeling of the rooms was done poorly. The attempt at freshening the bathroom was sad. The attempt to refinish the tub and tile area looked like it belonged in a repossessed mobile home. There is no reason this hotel should be three star.” Sep 14, 2008 by
Barbara from Fort Wayne, IN
“First room located by ice machine, 2nd room no air conditioning, 3rd and final room had dirty tub and shower curtain overlapping in tub with slow drain. Pool was disgustingly dirty. Hotel under construction and may be better at some point.” Sep 10, 2008 by
Stephanie from Heavener, OK
“Good beds, poor location for leisure travel. amenities were poor, and staff was rude.” Sep 10, 2008 by
Deanna from Flower Mound, TX
“Overall, we were disappointed with the hotel. The A.C. didn't work and we had to all at 1:00 am to have someone try to fix it. The power outlet didn't work in the bathroom, which was a problem considering I am temporarily disabled. The bathtub was not acceptable nor the shower head as it didn't have a removable nozzle.” Sep 9, 2008 by
Rhonda from Sulphur Springs, TX
“The Crowne Plaza Hotel in Oklahoma City has friendly staff, even at 2:00 AM, the mattress was firm and the bedding sumptuous. I totally enjoyed our stay!” Sep 9, 2008 by
Jan from Olathe, KS
“This will hopefully be a nicer hotel when all of the work is complete. Most of our room looked great but there was still some work to be done in the bathroom. Hopefully they were not finished. We discovered the morning that we woke up that the air had not worked overnight. Thank goodness it was a cool night. We would stay again but check out everything before we go to bed.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Kevin from Enid, OK
“In the midst of a remodel. Great overall.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Brad from Wichita, KS
“Overall the hotel was awesome. Rooms were nice, very clean, convenient location.” Sep 4, 2008 by
B from Tucson, AZ
“Hotel is undergoing a renovation, I hope it is to include the entire hotel not just the front. The room front doors were black from scuff marks, ceilings in room were falling apart, fire sprinklers were very rusty, room didn't provide much info about hotel like pool hours or workout room hours. Staff told a guest in front of us upon check in that they only had king size beds available but yet when we asked if we could get a king size she said they were all sold out, we asked the staff about the water taxi's and they said they were closed yet when we went to Bricktown they were opened, and they had a wake-up guarantee that they would call within 5 minutes of the requested time or the room is free, we requested one our last night there for 10 and we didn't receive it. The girl said oh yeah our phones sometimes don't work. Know about it and see if they could do it or not and someone would call the next day, no one has called!” Sep 3, 2008 by
Lori from Claremore, OK
“It was terrible! I have stayed in a Crown Plaza more than once and this did not compare! It was definitely not a 3-star hotel. The light fixture above the shower was leaking water. The water around the light bulb was just about to boil. And to top it off, the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling with parts missing. So, if there was a fire, we wouldn't have known!” Sep 3, 2008 by
Bryan from Enid, OK
“Our trip was a birthday get away from a hectic summer. At 9:30 on a Sunday morning, the housekeeping staff was noisy in the hallway, banging the adjoining room's doors, knocked on our door and even when requested not to, continued to knock every 30 minutes or so. When confronted, made rude comments. At 12:01, they pulled the cart up to our door and we had to maneuver around them to get out. When we checked out, no inquiries were made about our stay.” Sep 3, 2008 by
Valerie from Fay, OK
“There were dirty diapers and empty cans in a desk drawer. No iron gone, no shampoo or conditioner. There were 2 dirty cups on dresser by TV, trash was not dumped. The room was about 10'x12' and no closet.” Sep 3, 2008 by
Amy from Bromide, OK
“I think this hotel may be okay when it is completed. On our floor there were carpenters still working when we got there, they told us that this floor was not ready to rent yet. I am glad I was on business instead of with my family, because my two year would have had many staples in his bare feet. They even had to turn the electricity off several times to work on something. We were trying to study in a dark room. I don't think the maids really knew that that floor was open. There was another lady on the same floor, that we met in the elevator, she had a whole list of complaints for them.” Sep 2, 2008 by
Anissia from Tulsa, OK
“The service wasn't very good. I have never had a hotel deactivate my room key an hour before check out. We were locked out of our room and had to wait for assistance. They also didn't let us know that the power went out in the building. The building was okay but the service was poor. The Holiday Inn down the road is much nicer.” Sep 2, 2008 by
Trudy from Welch, OK
“The hotel was under renovation. We had to request to change rooms. The rooms we started with had not been cleaned well and were not fully prepared to be used. They apparently had been part of the renovations. The staff was very good to move us to different rooms which met my expectations. The hotel lost electricity during the morning hours which encouraged us to check out earlier than planned to find an alternate restaurant for breakfast. I have stayed at this hotel several times, but I was left disappointed. Overall, I would not consider this hotel a 3 star hotel.” Sep 1, 2008 by
Trey from Broken Arrow, OK
“This was a great. The room was newly updated and very clean. According to the signs they were still renovating but we did not see or hear anything. I would stay here again.” Aug 26, 2008 by
Kevin (. from Houston, TX
“There was a dirty towel in the room sitting on the TV stand when we walked into the room. Sticky stain on carpet. There were 2 false fire alarms with one at 1am and another at 3am where we had to evacuate the hotel. Terrible experience No sleep.” Aug 23, 2008 by
David from Sacramento, CA
“This hotel may have been nice at one time and the current owner is trying to remodel. This is a good place to stay, but not for any amount above that amount.” Aug 22, 2008 by
Shay from Fort Cobb, OK
“It was awful. Dirty and stinks. wire was hanging from our bathroom ceiling. They gave us a handicapped room. There was no trash can or Kleenexes in the room. There was a hair in our bed. The night stand had something wet on it. I will never stay there again.” Aug 20, 2008 by
Lisa from Wichita Falls, TX
“This hotel was being remodeled, but our room was completely unfinished despite having the entire new decor. The tile work in bathroom was shoddy, there was a board where a picture should have been, the elevators were small, with scratched wood and were dirty, and the hallways were filled with clutter and were dirty. The whole place just felt dirty! The staff was VERY nice, but I would NEVER stay here again.” Aug 19, 2008 by
Linda from Sandy, UT
“Friendly staff who quickly assigned a room. The hotel had excellent soft bedding without the hot down duvet that most hotels provide. The first room had wave sounds coming from the alarm when we walked in the room. It was very calming. The second time we stayed at the hotel the room's alarm did not have nature sounds and we were a little disappointed. Hotel is renovating but it did not disrupt our weekend stay.” Aug 19, 2008 by
Paul from Huachuca City, AZ
“The Crowne Plaza hotel was under renovation while we were there August 10-16th 2008. The room we had was on the 7th floor. The room itself was nicely decorated and furnishings were comfortable, however the air conditioning in the room was inadequate to say the least. Also a minor thing but not the less important to us was that the coffee maker didn't work. When a replacement coffee maker was brought up, it too didn't work. Needless to say someone at the hotel was not checking things properly. The location of the property is central to the city and convenient.” Aug 15, 2008 by
Laura from Elk City, OK
“Overall satisfying with a few things being unsatisfactory.” Aug 14, 2008 by
Janice from Holdrege, NE
“We didn't had any toilet paper, we had to call for sheets for the make out bed and they were very slow. It was being renovated and not the cleanest or the quietest. The first room we had the door was open and lights were on when we went in. It was an okay experience. It was definitely only a 2 star to 2.5 hotel.” Aug 14, 2008 by
Don from Burleson, TX
“Terrible. Coffee grounds from previous guest left in dirty coffee pot; short in light beside bed; TV buzz; hallways and elevators disgustingly dirty.” Aug 14, 2008 by
Katherine from Tulsa, OK
“Although I am sure that generally the hotel is very nice I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the hotel. It is currently undergoing construction and the lobby and bar area were not very cool.” Aug 14, 2008 by
Tom from Enid, OK
“We've stayed here before. The staff is very friendly and welcomes you as an honored guest. The property is currently being remodeled so you have to put up with minor inconveniences. This hotel is placed in the same category as Holiday Inn but it exceeds Holiday Inn in almost any criteria.” Aug 13, 2008 by
April from Quinton, OK
“The room was nice, but there were no bath towels or blankets. Had to request 3 times and then walk to retrieve them. They were remodeling, which I understood the mess in the halls and around hotel.” Aug 13, 2008 by
Matt from Owasso, OK
“This Crowne Plaza (OKC) is currently under renovation and is in need of it! This is an old hotel and they're going to have to sink a ton of money in it to come up to even a Hampton-Inn style hotel. My room's bathroom sink had a substantial leak and would soak the carpet. The drywall behind the leak was falling off the wall. I'd be surprised if I were the first person to ever tell them about this. Also the toilet paper holder was falling out of the wall. This place was EXTREMELY disappointing.” Aug 12, 2008 by
Karen from Weatherford, OK
“Very clean and comfortable. Good place to stay is hanging around Oklahoma City for a few days.” Aug 6, 2008 by
Gregory from Dallas, TX
“Nice but elevator wasn't working. AC didn't cool down enough. The AC didn't work on several floors and didn't cool the room down at all. Only seem to blow air and not cool air Pool lights break and had exposed wires. The maintenance didn't think it was too important to come to see about that problem. There were children who were wanting to get in the pool. If there were wires exposed then it would be more of a problem. The elevators were usually small and only one working.” Aug 5, 2008 by
Dene from Grand Prairie, TX
“They were under construction, so air conditioning was inadequate, only one very small elevator was in service causing 20 minute trips to car. Pool was unavailable due to electric hazard from construction. End result was most of the extras that caused me to choose this hotel were not available to me on this stay.” Aug 5, 2008 by
Aaron from Yukon, OK
“Until was under renovation and was a complete disaster. Room didn't have alarm clock, trash can or mirror in room. Request for said items to the front desk went unanswered. Only one elevator worked causing incredible wait times to get to and from the room. Room was coated in a layer of dust from construction activities. Hallways were covered in dust, drywall and paint scraps. No where close to the same caliber hotel. Overall, a horrible experience.”
