• Very clean, neat and attractive rooms. Older hotel but updated nicely.
• The overall location was a little rough. Water lines in walls were quite noisy. when showers were on or toilets were flushed in adjacent rooms.

“Friendly staff. Clean, updated rooms. Nicely decorated. Comfortable beds. Only negative aspect is that water lines in the walls are quite noisy.”

• Very clean. Pleasant staff and beautiful facilities.

“We were suprised that the facility does not appear to be a hotel at all but a series of apartments. This made us feel as if we had our own apartment for the weekend not just a room at a hotel. The full kitchen was a delight to have and saved on food costs while so far from home. Thank price line for getting us into such a nice place!!”

• bad location, odd route from the main highway

“The staff was friendly! They allowed us to stay late in the jacuzzi as long as we didn't bother the other tenants. The hotel room had more amenities than we could use in our one night stay.”

• our room was old, needs updating badly

“When we arrived at 8 p.m. there were no non-smoking rooms available. After some discussion the desk clerk called her manager and upgraded our basic room to a "suite" which was empty and was non-smoking. The "suite" was very roomy, but everything was old. The room needed a complete make-over. The carpet and bedding were clean but worn. The room we had just smelled musty. I saw a couple of bugs in the kitchen. The free breakfast was nice, as was the pool.”

• It had no king size beds. I did not know there were hotels that did not have king size beds.

• I had never stayed at a Residence Inn before. I was quite pleased with the type of room and the amenities offered by the hotel. It's a great place.
• No complaints.

• The dinner at pool side, the breakfast buffet was out of the world
• Not one thing, everything was above our wildest expectations.

“You couldn't have asked for anything more, coffee 24/7 in lobby, excellent dinner at pool side, breakfast like no other, rooms were clean, quiet, dark, I am trying to plan another trip just to stay there. What a home like setting, my kids loved it and were made so welcome.”

• Each room had a refridgerator and oven.
• One of the rooms booked did not have an airconditioner that worked. We had to double up in one of the other rooms.

“The hotel would have met and even exceeded my expectations but each room had only one bed. Also, the maintainance persons of the hotel failed to fix an air conditioner. This made the beginning of the trip difficult. However, after checking out and traveling about an hour, the manager of the hotel called, apologized for the inconvenience, and mailed a voucher for another nights stay. This was a very good start for the second leg of our trip.”

• The food was great! Especially the ribs!!!!!
• The neighbors upstairs were loud in the middle of the night. I could hear EVERYTHING!

“I was extremely pleased with all aspects of this hotel. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was hot and tasty. The socials were fun and the all you can eat bar-b-que was the best! My room was clean, comfortable and I felt safe, which is a major thing for a woman traveling alone! I can't wait to visit Oklahoma City and Residence Inn again!”

• The spacious rooms were awesome as well as the fantastic breakfast buffet.
• Since all non-smoking rooms were gone, we had to stay in a smoking room.

“The hotel was great. We've actually stayed there before and like it very much. It's just the smoking situation. We despise smoking and were displeased that we had to accept a smoking room.”

• It was a GREAT buy and we'll do it again.
• The breakfast area in the lobby was too crowded.

“It was very warm and friendly. The rooms were very clean and we had a wonderful stay. The service was good, and we would highly recommend the Residense Inn Oklahoma City on west Reno Street. The atmosphere of the hotel was more like a mini-resort rather than a typical hotel.”

• The room was spacious, clean and staff was outstanding.
• Turning onto the property, when headed east was a little difficult, but not impossible.

“We were more than pleasantly surprised by the quality for our money. The morning breakfast, hot and full of selection was a welcome start to our morning. The staff was professional and friendly, at ALL times. The recreational area (swimming pool, badminton area) were wonderful. The room noise was amazing as we never heard neighbors on any of the 3 sides. Our experience was well above what we expected. THANK YOU!”

• We were pleasntly surprised! The hotel was wonderful & the staff was EXTRA helpful, we were thrilled!
• The only complaint was that a sub-contracted company was replacing the hot water heaters in several units & blocked our stairway & sidewalk

“This hotel was a great place to stay. We were in 3 states over our vacation & this place was the best! We loved the cleanliness, the roominess, and the staff was wonderful. We enjoyed the hot breakfasts every morning the food was yummy, not just a bunch of stale muffins. AS I have mentioned the best thing about the hotel was the staff, some of the kindest, most helpful & accomadating people you'll ever meet.”

• The Staff is Incredible, very helpful.
• We would suggest teflon pans instead of the pans there.

“We really enjoyed our stay. The pool needed a better filter on it and probably needed to be cleaned more often, and the pans should be teflon or non stick. Other then those two things we absolutly loved the staff and our stay.”

• Great service and accommodations. Employees were very helpful.
• Our room was right along the busy Reno Street. There was alot of traffic noise.

• Friendly staff, spacious room.
• We were in a 2nd floor room, and no elevator was available.

“Newer property, near I-40, on outskirts of Oklahoma City.

Hotel has odd layout - many separate low-rise (2-floor) bldgs. No elevators - not good for those w/ heavy packages, or the handicapped.

Cheap furnishings and linens.”

• The kichens were great
• I was on the 2nd floor

“As we looked for the hotel I was excited, then we turned a corner and saw the sign I smiled. When I saw the room it was perfect. More than I expected. My friends asked if we could get these rooms for the 3rd day of our stay. I tried but could not. Overall it was a very pleasant and perfect stay. ”

“The rooms are large and great for a meeting place with family or friends due to the sitting areas and kitchens. It wasn't fancy but very clean and well kept up. Parking was close and we felt very safe. It was a great experience for me and my family.”

• Fireplace and kitchen ... wonderful extra!!!
• Old carpet and old fixtures.

• The manager and front desk people are friendly. It show the sign of welcome.
• whirlpool needs to fix quick.

• very run-down rooms, older and poor quality

“this hotel is 15 yrs older than I expected. Very poor hot water. TV had very bad quality picture. Carpet and decor was old and worn out.

This is not what I expect when I stay at a Marriott facility.

I stayed the weekend at a candlewood suite hotel a 1/2 mile from the Residence inn. I paid $5 less per night and it was much cleaner with a much friendlier staff.”

• It smelled as if it had been on fire, we couldn't hardly stand to use the towels and on the 2nd day our room had not been serviced.

“Previous experiences at this hotel were great, so I was really disappointed this time. The room smelled terrible, the couch did not make out into a bed as it had on my previous visits. We did not get the room serviced, but one time, during our 3 days there so we had to reuse towels.
I do like the location and the meals provided, but am not sure if I will stay there again, which is sad considering I have stayed there so many times before.”

• There is really nothing negative that stands out about my stay.

“The Residence Inn OKC was great! The location was very convenient and secure. The sense of security was further enhanced by their security guard on site at night. The room was very clean and spacious. The full kitchen would have been great for a more extended stay. The breakfast in the morning was excellent! Not just bagels and coffee. They had a full buffet with eggs, bacon, and waffles you could make yourself.”

• The suite was lovely. We had a complimentary log for our fireplace.
• There was a large window on the ground floor where we were staying.

“The rooms were very large. One complaint is that the rooms have only one bed with a sofa that makes into a bed if needed. That was unclear when booking the room. Could be an issue for those who want two beds. Otherwise, our stay was fine.”
